Taylor has 3 children with Ridge, so Ridge will never be completely out of Nick's life by choosing to marry Taylor instead, aside from the fact they're half brothers. And truth be told, Taylor will never get over Ridge either. Nick keeps hooking up with women still in love and connected to Ridge somehow lol. He should have stayed with Bridget in my opinion.
