Can you hand application through the glue?

Definitely. Technically if you glue on the edge of the paper and not on the fabric you’re not stitching through glue anyway. Just through the fold of fabric that wraps around the edge of the paper.

You don’t. It stays in the project and semi dissolves and softens when you wash it.
