Absolutely, their only possible strategy is to find a way to discredit the court. It's patently obvious that the defence is continually trying to wind up the judge. They don't care about the jury or the case, just finding ways to claim a mistrial.

This atty is doing a stunning job considering his late entry into the case and the shitshow he is having to deal with. Between Jones, who is about as easy to nail down as a lubricated eel in a Teflon condom, the opposing counsel, who is obviously playing for emotion on all sides, and an obviously biased judge who gives lip service to fairness while gagging Jones from saying anything that could be considered exculpatory, he is doing a pretty good job. He has done well to facilitatehis client while bringing attention to the plaintiffs dirty tactics and the judges bias. He is making a good case for an appeal because the court has blocked every method for a substantial defense, and that's his job. I like this guy.

At 0951 when Ofc. Smith announced suspect down, he was inside room 10 staring at 7 victims and never said a word to dispatch. He was with Ofc. Chapman, Sgt. Cario and Lt. Davis. A few seconds later, Ofc. Penna requests the location of the suspect. He's standing in room 8 staring at 17 victims and doesn't say a word. Just after, he goes into room 10 and finds the other 7 victims. At 0955 Ofc. Penna uses his radio again, announcing weapons on scene and still fails to say anything about the 24 victims he had just witnessed.
