1st Half, Tass blue 2009 v Girvan, 2nd March 2024

1st half started well for both teams, settling down to building up attacks plus defending well too. In the 3rd minute Girvan opened the scoring when A. Gemmell scored into the corner of the net with a long range shot to make the score 0-1. Again both teams were committed to the match with a few free kicks given away with tackles the ref didn't agree with. In the 20th Charlie Frearson received a yellow card. The Girvan keeper had a few good saves to keep the Tass attack from scoring. However in the 25th minute Stephen Jamieson ran through to get onto a loose ball & scored past the keeper to make it 1-1. Tass kept the pressure up & in th3 32nd minute Jamie McQuade was given a great through ball and scored from an acute angle though the keeper got his hands to the ball he couldn't keep it out. Just 2 minutes later Girvan scored when N. Donald ran through & beat Josh to the ball in the box to lob the ball into the net to make the score 2-2.
