    I was looking for a new spinning reel and found the Shimano FX 2500 HG at Walmart for around $20, so I picked one up. Thanks for your video on this reel. I had not seen these reels before. I believe I will enjoy this reel.

    I bought this to replace my Ugly Stick GX2... That thing was a piece of junk. No matter how hard I pushed the rods together, it would still fly apart when I cast it. Brand new too.. Sure I could have glued it or taped it together but who wants to do that to a brand new fishing pole?

    Hi, good video. Random question do have any suggestions for catching snook by a dock light?

    • @Lake2Bay
      @Lake2Bay  2 года назад +1

      Trying using live baits on the dock lights it’s usually a guaranteed eat. A lot of time I will use jumbo live shrimp with no weight and free line it. Snook usually fall for it. Finger mullets also always get snook to eat on those lights.

      Always go with lighter braid line. Lighter braid will cast further and is also more durable. Try using 12lb braid for most of your inshore fishing. Remember fishing for larger fish in tighter areas, you should use a higher pound braid.

    • @Lake2Bay
