I love how Brooke (this mod’s version of Boyfriend) begins to turn into what he really looks like near the end of the song. Since the canonical explanation as to how he’s facing off against everybody in the mod is that he’s playing many arcade machines, and now Shadow Freddy (or “Sinnoh” as he’s officially referred to in the mod for some reason) is trapping him inside of the one he resides in. A very clever addition!
Sprites are a massive jump forward.I can see why Foxy’s sprites looked much more detailed in 3.0.Just still had some unfinished stuff,must’ve been placeholders?
[Notable changes in the V3 Hotfix update of Followed] - New sprites for Sinnoh's transformations of Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica, since they're made to match Foxy more (and I think Foxy's sprites are slightly updated??) - After Chica's part, you can finally miss without any insta-killing consequence. (In which you can finally see Brooke's miss sprites at the last 3 phases) - 4:06 In the part where Sinnoh's on the hallway, glitch effects are present - The vocals are now easier to hear than how it barely used to be from its OST release (i mean, we all know that the vocals would be adjusted in V3's initial release eventually) - Brooke's sprites at the ending part is now updated (just to further separate from the original FNF Boyfriend) That's how I know about the changes in this song's improvements for this hotfix update lol I might edit this if I missed any changes (even the smallest ones)

i think i have some lore for followed it occurs at 5:10 during the split second images shown on screen. So, basically, in this version (or verse) Brooke, stumbling into Sinnoh's (Sinnoh is this universes shadow freddy) arcade machine (because of voices he heard inside it) Sinnoh is the creator of the Withered Animatronics (from FNAF 2). After Brooke sees what he is in for, he tries to repeatedly escape the arcade machine. (This happens in the song, too). However, after Sinnoh blocks him from escaping, he puts fake memories into his mind. The memories are as follows: A purple shaded freddy fazbear - 5:15 Ditto, but with teeth after- 5:16 Sinnoh's eyes in his form behind Brooke, followed by Brooke being held by dark, yet purple hands in the darkness - 5:26 5:28- eyes Piecing all of the memories together we can find that Sinnoh actually really, really wants Brooke to be a Animatronic just like the others in Followed. The inclusion of the eyes, the gray hands on Brooke, albeit with every other animatronic points to this. Finally, lore solved TL:DR - Basically Sinnoh injects Brooke with a memory he will never forget, being a animatronic himself.

i dont think many have noticed but i feel like the vocals in the main band segment are slightly louder so you can hear them better, most noticeable with chica imo
I think I like the older sprites where Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica constantly flit between the various versions of them for different notes, but this is okay as well.
1:27 also not sure if the extra flash brightness is from the fps drop or what exactly but if it was meant them its bad add comparing to the old one (before anything i know the flash was in the old one but in the video it looks way more brighter)

While what the commenter above mentioned is true, I'd like to propose some suggestions that helped me practice some OURPLE-style sprites: You could get a digital art program, make a blank canvas, drag any of the mod's spritesheets into it (preferably Brooke's normal one) as reference and start drawing your own character next to it! Though make sure "Anti-Aliasing" is off when you're drawing, as it'll make it so your lines all pixelated, making it more like the mod's artstyle The only real issue here is the animation, I myself am struggling with figuring it out, but I hope what I mentioned above is still of help!

I think the sprite change is a neat change in my opinion as it shows Brooke now instead of the game character/icon Brooke had been using.
