    Really enjoyed the vids. I too am a driver, I also am turning my tritoon into a houseboat. Got a few great pointers from you. I'm looking at doing the 600 Mike stretch on the Tennessee river. Thanks for the 411. I'll be taking my guitar also. Lol

    From Mobile Al. to Florida is mostly intercoastal protected water. Move some weight toward back of boat if possible. If carpet is going to get wet all the time get rid of it. Go slow over large wakes.

    looks like 250 miles to get off Mississippi. It will get easier with time. You could follow a barge going your way. stay back a 1/4 mile or so. If the captain is friendly talk to him for advice on traffic. Do you have over heat alarm on outboard? You need one so you do not overheat and fry engine. You will be expert in no time
