Nice discussion, no wrong answers, but I love Foreplay/Long Time. I saw Boston at Jones Beach and that song just brought the house down, it was a fantastic show. Gotta love that organ 😂 thanks for the shout. 👍
This is my all time favorite album. Boston is my all time favorite. My older brother played this album when I was about 12 years old. I feel in love with the guitars, organ and singing. By the way, Boston has 6 albums. Boston, Don’t Look Back, Third Stage, Walk On, Corporate America and Love, Life and Hope. Also, you need your check out Delp and Goudreau and the band RTZ. Brad Delp is the greatest vocalist of all time.
1. More Than A Feeling- 10 2. Peace of Mind- 10 3. Foreplay/Long Time- 10 4. Rock & Roll Band- 8 5. Smokin’- 10 6. Hitch A Ride- 7 7. Something About You- 10 8. Let Me Take You Home Tonight- 7
Tom Schulz is beyond talented and to think he basically created that album himself from idea to what we now have is mind blowing. No disrespect to Brad but I believe if Brad had not been the singer Tom would have found someone else who would have interpreted the music from inside his head and the album would still have had the same massive success. I have some first year pressings of the album and they are magic. Tom did say in an interview over the years he did tweak the sound on later reissues to ‘fix’ things he noticed. He is a master and a perfectionist which is why there wasn’t a dozen follow up albums.
Brad's an incredible singer.......may God rest his soul.

We all have different opinions. Thanks for watching and sharing yours!
Bit too overproduced and overrated in my opinion I think appetite for destruction is a better debut album. It is a great album though.
