Blowoff is installed wrong (unless done on purpose). Should be plumbed from the intercooler piping and since its an atmosphere one instead of recirc, the HKS intake side should be blocked off. As it sits, its doing nothing being reversed

At the moment youll just get turbo flutter from your pod filter (turbo backspin escaping with no vent, through intake) and youre effectively not running a bov.. If you had a recirc bov like oem , or even a dual port blowoff (with half recirc half vent atmosphere like gfb or turbosmart) - the recirc part of the bov always goes into the intake return - in your case the hks intake. The feed to the bottom of the bov always comes out from the intercooler pipe. Im guessing yours is just blocked off at the intercooler at the moment unless someone welded it shut.. if running 100% external vent valve, it feeds to the bov from cooler pipe, and the hks intake return should be blocked off. Youll notice the second you do it this way it wont be turbo flutter anymore and youll actually get proper blowoff noise. Hks website diagram shows same.
