The sheer amount of value in this video is astonishing. I've played with a number of these techniques in the past but it wasn't until watching this that I realized it's time to start incorporating them into a regular practice for myself and my children. Gratitude
These are wonderful ideas! Thank you for sharing. I just finished your Tiny Doodles class and it was AMAZING!!! You are one of my absolute favorite artists because you gave me the confidence (at 60) to begin creating art even with a zero budget for art supplies. Sending you hugs and appreciation!
I just found you tonight and I feel like I am in art class with the most amazing teacher. I worked right along with you. I love the idea of the cheap journal and prepped quite a few pages with the acrylic paints. I love your style so much. I cannot wait to share these techniques with my quiet little 6 yr old granddaughter. She loves doing art with me and I think some of these ideas would be great for her and I to work on together. Also I think I will grab about 6 dollar store journal books and have some friends over!! Thank you so much Alisa!!!
I am so happy I found your channel ❤. I am old but have recently had an interest in collage and art journaling. I’m on a very fixed income so you have sparked some ideas that don’t cost a lot . Thank you so very much for sharing. Can’t wait to get thru all your videos 😊
Fantastic Alisa! Thank you for sharing this list. I found it to be a reminder to myself that when I’m stuck it’s often emotional and the simple act of play can release feelings as well as allow me to “get out of my head” and “get into my body”. Well done.
All of my sketchbooks pages are written on first before I paint and collage over. It's SO satisfying! I really like you painted big words and then did lots of layers of writing.
so helpful. thank you for this and all your videos. super helpful for me as I try using an art journal to express repressed emotions. thank you so much.❤️
Fabulous video that I needed ..Thankyou Alisia 🤍 been doing to many cards and things that I wanted so called perfect 🤔and not enough of the art I enjoy and getting messy 😁

I am 62 and I do sometimes struggle with art ideas as well as motivation.

The process of rebuilding and remaking something from your torn pieces -- that sounds spiritual and I like that!
It's maybe a little abstract and a challenge for me, but I can see the value in it. When I can I'm going to give this a try! Thanks for sharing. 💟
So, I immediately began making black marks and now, I'm going to write on them. Thanks!

I like that huge writing too....I often write on pages, but always small. I want to try those giant words. Seems satisfying!
