Seems like yesterday he was healthy and cracking jokes. Life goes by soo fast, grab every moment while you can.
He said us to smile but not easy 😢😢
I remember him among other things for following: (1) He took 16-year-old Theo Walcott to the Euros as part of the England squad with Walcott never having kicked a ball in the Premier League (2) Even though in my opinion he spoke very good English as a Swede, he said he understood nothing when Rooney was speaking (3) He was a Don Juan, a ladies man, who had a string of fairly high-profile girlfriends when he was England manager (4) He was Manager of Cote de Voire and managed the team in the African Cup of Nations, even though Sky has not mentionec that.
I was saddened by his unexpected cancer diagnosis, which he appeared to get on with bravely, and am completely heartbroken by the news of his death.
So bad. Rest in power, Sven
A true gentleman of the game, England's first foreign coach and although he never took us to a world cup final he gave us the joy of one when England beat Germany in their own backyard 5-1. Very sad news Rest in Peace Sven

I had always heard Sven was a genuinely nice guy. Clearly a very good coach as well. I also want to say that being he was the first foreign coach with England that this will continue to pave way with bringing sport and life together from different parts of the world and the education in sport it brings.
