When you consider that, his cartoony wacky inflatable arm-flailing tube man gear 5 makes sense.

The drums and the rithm of the Shamisen complement each other nicely, feels smooth and different of the other tracks with more choir focus. I like the change and the experimentation with different styles. Keep up the good work!
Choir is the only thing OnePiece music lacks. (only notable choir music in OnePiece are Gol.D Roger's theme and one before Hiluluk's death) You fill that void of less choir in OnePiece.

I think when Gear 5 is animated, the drums of Liberation are nothing but Luffy's heart beating in a particular rhythm, and loud enough that everyone can hear them. Maybe that's why it's taking a toll on his body, bcz he's still untrained for Gear 5
That's usually what happens like the drawbacks of using his gear3 and 4 early and not being able to sustain them very long. Then once he gets used to them he uses em longer, better, and without drawbacks. Can't wait to see him get used to gear 5
