It's amazing how easily AI can convert stories into animations! All the information required to begin animating right now is included in the instruction.
I have been looking for resources to do a creative assignment for my humanities class, and while looking around, I found your channel. All I can say is that thank you for the resources and tutorials presented on your channel.
It's incredible how runway is increasingly establishing itself as the leader. Your work is remarkable, thank you for this tutorial. I can't wait to try this!
I just want to grab a coffee and pull up a cozy chair inside your brain for a couple of days. To have such a creative mind and a skillset to make it all happen... you're incredibly unique.
This is the first video I’ve watched from your channel. Loved this detailed and very thorough video and it will save so many hrs of research for many of us. This little fellow in your clip really experienced quite the dramatic moment out at sea.. I wasn’t really expecting to see a happy finale as the intensity continued to surpass multiple climax points.😅😆 Great work and thanks again for the breaking it all down with such detail! Definitely gained a subscriber and can’t wait to see what you create in the future!
That's absolutely marvelous. In a very near future, people with good ideas wll be able to make them happen, thought surely there will be a flood of a lot of garbage too. Thanks!
I did the unlimited Runway AI for a month. I enjoyed it to a certain extent. 2 big things I didn't like about it were that when you animated a 4 second clip you would be LUCKY if it would stay in focus for 4 seconds when using midjourney images. Anything over 4 seconds and forget about it cause it's going out of foucus AND the contrast would USUALLY change at the 4 second mark causing it to look amateurish. I found that if I didn't add a lot of camera motion to the scene it stayed in focus a little better but any type of fancy camera movement and all I got is an out of focus mess. It was very tedious to use the Runway software. I sometimes would generate a clip 20 times (time consuming) to get 4 seconds that would stay in focus. I hope they fix this some day.
I'm not sure where those numbers come from. But yeah there are monthly subscriptions for Midjourney, Photoshop (creative suite) and RunwayML. Alternative approaches could be to use Stable diffusion (free) via A1111 or comfyUI or Dalle 3 (now built into chat gpt) for image generation. Then Pika for video generation via discord (or their new website if you can get access) which is currently free. Or Stable video or animatediff via comfy UI which is free. (But a good bit more complex than runway or Pika)
Fascinating to see that, many thanks. What this makes me think though is that the current state of AI would only allow me to create work that looks similar to what a million other people will be creating so there's no way to stand out. What I'll be looking for (I don't know whether it exists) is ways to use AI to refine or polish my own work, for instance to combine my own concept art with rough animation to create a finished piece.
Thanks for the video . Nice work! I'm wondering why you wouldn't just edit with the Runway output and then input the entire video into Topaz for a final upscale. Seems tedious to do it clip by clip. Thanks!
Well done for making it work so well. I've been looking into this for a music video for our track but everything I tried just looked really bad once the movement started and I needed to have the same character all the way through the video so gave up in the end. 😐
I honestly think it's now a bit more affordable with less multiple generations needed to get useable content on Runway ML.This video used less than $10 worth of generations (including the shots I didn't use in the edit) which seems crazy cheap really. But 100% appreciate Pika (whilst free is a bargain, though suspect as Pika have raised $55m in funding they will 100% be charging soon. (**The new Pika promo looks amazing!!)
Lovely finished product and nice use of all the tools at your disposal! Do you have issues with basic scene movement when asking Runway to also add camera moves? It generally causes my generations to suffer.
I like where you're setting the bar. There's the clip via the early Sora promo materials of someone eating a burger... the fact they bit and it actually removes some of the burger (not to mention looks photoreal) was seriously impressive. Looking forward to future Runway updates to see if they launch something that competes.
I've tried out a few different things recently. Plus used Suno in one of the recent videos to create some different music. I think it's improved even more now and worth a revisit soon.
Oh cool thanks for replying. I just started trying Suno a few days ago and was really impressed at first, but now it is hit and miss. I probably need a decent rest!@@AIAnimationStudio
Nothing quite on par with it that I've seen. Hitpaw offer some cheaper alternative. Or you could build some workflow using ComfyUI and with the right custom nodes achieve some sort of upscaling to run locally for free (if you system can handle it).
Hey thanks for the question... Feel free to contact me via the aianimation site. aianimation.com/contact/ (*A bit manic this week with client work for our normal animation studio, but I will get try and back to you)
Ai animations are still quite lifeless imo. Everything moves so slow with minimal movement. It lacks dynamic movements. Maybe it will get there some day though.
Yeah, I don't disagree. In this video I'm really trying to lean in with what can be done, relatively quickly with tools right now, today. Though there are some really big steps on the near horizon. The promo for what Pika is releasing imminently looks great, with much much more motion possible. There are AI models with ever increasing consistency and speed. Plus you can drive animation using rigs which you could manually animate, animate with motion capture, animated based off of a video source, or now animate with a text prompt.
@@AIAnimationStudio pika’s new version looks really promising indeed. By the way I do think that what you did with the scenes looks really good. The track you chose fits the style and pacing.
Is it to brave to declare that in 1 year we’ll have an AI ‘’ text to anything media’’ tool? Wich will oversaturate the already oversaturated market? So what will happen to the professional lwith 10+ years experience or noobies who just started to learn time and resource consuming softwares? Time to start a youtube channel or develop tools for the masses?
Hi, me and my 10- year old have watched all your videos and my daughter made this story about a wolf using zeroscope - she did a couple of songs using ai and did the rest on guitar --ruclips.net/video/E5Ot03UXDoY/видео.html

Bro how amazingly you have created this Christmas AI Video!!
Hats off!!🚀
This was great! It's like a new phase in terms of the slew of mid-journey prompt videos. Much more dynamic too!
Thanks for showing us how you created this.
Love the diorama prompt and look of the videos. Nice work!
Aw man! So glad you done a break down of this. Always putting out top quality content :)
Cheers... Glad you liked it. I had no intention of doing a tut for the Xmas short when I first made it, but guess it turned out alright. 👍

Thanks.. and yep.. agree. I think the story and high quality execution of ideas will be what seperates the tonnes of content that will be created.
Best AI video I've seen yet!
🙂... I'll happily take that. Thanks very much.
Amazing tutorial! So thorough and easy to follow. Thank you so much. And the final video and your choice of music are such a joy to watch.
Thanks Emily, appreciate it.
great video - thank you
You are the best, please keep it up,
I would like to see more videos about Runway, Pika etc.
this is awesome, thanks for the peak behind the scenes. very generous of your time. fantastic final piece too.
You are amazing!!! A dream come true, thank you so much!
Another super useful video Jon! Getting some great results
Really interesting! Just found this channel and hoping to use it for my next project!
Amazing! I was just thinking of an animation idea and this is exactly what i need.
Brilliant breakdown ❤

Amazing video, great tutorial. Love your vids ❤❤❤
Thanks, Jon. Very interesting.
Thanks Paul. 👍
magical! amazing imagery.
great job

Brilliant 👍👍👍
It looks difficult to do, especially for a novice like me. My question: Is there a cheaper way to do this than for $300 plus a monthly fee of $35?

Love it
I wish Runway wasn't so expensive. Can't wait for the next pika update with generative fill

If they could portray someone eating, drinking, or smoking I would be impressed. Not until.

No hate for Topaz, but is there a cheaper alternative?
It's funny when start with vision lol ends different lol with bunch generations lol
pas de midjourney j'ai pas les moyens comment réaliser une vidéo avec des moyens gratuits stp..
