- I thought this song very appropriate for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. It originates from the Paramount Picture, "Buck Benny Rides Again" but no one sings it as beautifully as Clint.

I was so distraught over his death I couldn’t watch any of these tributes until just recently. My entire childhood I pretended he was my father as my was so horrible. I didn’t realize how glorious looking he was until I was in college. These videos are just so very precious to me.
Hearing this song in 2019 makes me sad for the state of things now.
Everything changed since 9/11 and each president since then has divided the country more and more.
It's just picking up toward full speed, I'm sorry to say. I've been watching it come like a tsunami since the "sick '60s." My late dad said we'd never recover from that decade. He was right.
I have his Inspiration CD. And that's exactly what he is..
AN INSPIRATION!
He was what a man should be. Clint just happened to be an unusually handsome man to. My idol as a child. My Mom hated westerns, but always watched Cheyenne. Lol I figured that one out as I grew up. Now my Mom is gone and so is Clint Walker. I'm an old woman. Still like looking at a fine looking man. A real man. Few and far between now. I was lucky enough to marry one 53 years ago. We are still going strong.
You sound like a heck of a woman. Love it.
I'm 60 and loved westerns my whole life but only discovered "Cheyenne" a yr ago somehow! Loved it but they didn't show all episodes. They jumped around! But it was refreshing just watching Clint. He's so different. Good women loved him. I'm convinced that's how the show was on so many years. It was enjoyable from a man's standpoint but it didn't hurt with the ladies that they had Clint shirtless from time to time.
No harm in looking
My kind of country and my kind of man!
You tell 'em, Gloria!
Clint was such a great singer and actor! I still miss him very much!

One of my favorite songs from his CD, Great pictures Theo.....Was there ever a man who just lit up the screen like Clint??? I am running out of adjectives for that man.....".SUPERCALIFRAGILISTIC EXPEALIDOCIOUS" !!!!!!!!
Wow That's a Great One that Mary Poppins would Say Sums it Up.
Congratulations.
carroll1956, to add to your comment, that picture was taken at the 12th annual Sheriffs Championship Rodeo held at the Coliseum, in 1956.. Clint was Rodeo Grand Marshall, and Natalie was Rodeo Queen..She would have been about 18yrs old....

LOL...No! I didn't use spellcheck..I did what I used to tell my kids to do....sound it out..and hope it looks right... I don't think it's in the dictionary?? I borrowed it from "Mary Poppins"..always love that word... it says it all!!
LOL! Love you too Theo!
What to hell??
Clint was born in 1927 in1956 .he would have been 29yrs old......???..
carroll1956...I read this on a website, that Natalie and Clint appeared together at this event together in1956. She would have been 18yrs old.. that's young to me...I was born in 1938 and I remember Natalie Wood very well......
Natalie was born in 1938.. Clint was born in 1927...
That looks like a young Natalie Wood sitting on the horse dressed in the cute cowgirl outfit... I wonder what she's thinking about with that smile on her face?? LOL
He look to good bad luck
I hope you see this, Deb...I didn't know what to do. I was locked out of the official group site. What did I do? I have know idea. I would never do anything against the rules...I admire Clint so much and all you do. I am in that other group that you have said has some official group members, too, and I've seen their comments. So I thought it was okay. I was only on it to see the pictures and make comments to help others. But, I never believed what he said about Clint and him. I have been thinking I would stop making comments there...I wasn't ferling right about it. I was was going to stop before the last one I wrote...the little voice, my angel, like Clint said...wish I had..I deleted it. I thought it was okay. People were talking about the black hat in a first year episode that he only wore once. I said I believed it was worn so Clint could match the won worn by the lead in the movie when they added some of those scenes in. I thought it was public knowledge that a few episodes in season 1 used older movie stories and footage. Clint had said that he had to wear a shirt that matched one where they used a movie version that showed him jumping on moving train. I had talked about, as Clint said, the using some movie footage, like in the end of Top Hand. A woman thought it was a bit overdone and dangerous. I explained that they spliced in scenes from a movie. It was good, but very obvious that it was from a movie. Clint said it was an advantage to have the movie scenes to add in that gave the show a movie feel...cattle stampedes, etc. I pray you will reinstate me. I don't know what I did, but no more comments from me. Thank you....Darlene Huver
He was a decent singer, but an arch conservative who didn't support progress.
He's my kind of man!👍🇺🇲 Can't you see where liberalism has taken us?🚽
Depends on what's progress? Electing communists to the White House (more than once in last few decades and close a couple more times) is progress only to communists.
Communists are the enemy of everybody, esp those they put against other with their racial and economic trickery.
He was just a good man!!A PROUD AMERICAN !!!
