I just got my GH7 on the actual release date from B&H and I’m very disappointed with the PDAF. The focus is drifting and it seems no better than the GH6 so I’m sending it back.

Hello! I just bought gh7. Why cant i import video with lumix lab?

Submitted a request for external HDMI 6K 3:2 Open Gate ProRes RAW recording with Atomos support from a Lumix S5IIX. Hopefully LUMIX and Atomos can co-develop a firmware update for that camera to allow for that as an externally recorded ProRes RAW feature. Imagine the power of open gate with 12-bit RAW. Also keeps Atomos relevant in the age of USB-C drives on the S5IIX and GH6/7.

Sean, for the flash question, I assume the user having the blurring effect in low light (slow shutter speed, was in ‘M’ mode with Constant Preview on. If he was using a compatible flash on the hot shoe, constant preview will turn off and there will be no blur effect. If incompatible or using strobe through a remote, CP will need to be manually turned off.
