@essexpearl Joe didn't get promo anyway, even before he came out. Are you suggesting that Simon only dropped Joe because he's gay? If that's the case why did he drop Shayne Ward? He simply doesn't care about male acts. Joe now has a new record label and will be treated like the amazing talent that he is. His new label will give him a proper opportunity. Also, X Factor don't make you listen to anything you don't want to. There are numerous acts that have been on there that I never listen to.

Not everybody watches X factor , in fact alot of people are fed up with being hand fed what Simon Cowell and the likes manufactures and grooms to the point of even studio enhancing what they would like us 2 believe is some incredible new talent - we should all rush out & buy- 2 make SYCO ( Cowell ) even richer. As soon as it came out about Joe McEldery being gay his prommo here in England dried up, just the same as Cowell snubbed Adam Lambert
