Before I say this, I definitely agree that the PS5 Pro is too expensive and I also prefer PC anyway. However, this video does show why so many people prefer console. Even if it's not even cheaper, it's way more convenient. You don't have to buy all the parts individually, bargain, and then build the PC yourself.
The prob isn't bo6 being poorly optimized, it's the fact the 5600 is a bit better than a 5500 Which is around the performance of a 3700x (that's the equivalent to the ps5 CPU, yes the ps5 and ps5 pro have the same exact CPU, the major dif is the GPU that still isn't that better). The reason the ps5 pro looks better than the ps5 is pssr which is basically fsr for console (which could be enabled on the base ps5 instead of dynamic res if they didn't want to suck the money). Yes the new GPU is better but it's not a big leap.
@CedricRL I mean I have no probs running it on my 4 gens old Ryzen 5 5700x3D it runs above 200 fps. I get optimizations not being the best but this cod is def way more stable in terms of frame times than the last couple cods. Yet the ps5 CPU is still worse than the one he was testing but only by a bit so it makes sense the performance on the ps5 is still close. His CPU was bottlenecking the card, that's why he didn't get fps increases by lowering res, that mostly lower GPU usage which was already not the prob. It barely affects CPU loads.

Now u can pair the pc with an Intel b580, a ryzen cpu and then add in the rest and NOT cheap out on the power supply, getting yourself one hell of a deal

You must've messed up somewhere... I've had my 3070 FE since release and it runs smooth like butter on most games + I have a 49 inch ultrawide monitor.
This is definitely a solid achievement but for most people, sitting around and trying to find deals, having to send parts back and meeting with sellers before having to put everything together and download all the drivers and updates before playing a game is just not worth it when they can buy the ps5 pro, plug it into their tv and download the game they wanna play
The only real deal he found was the 3080. Everything other part in the video you can find regularly for great prices. Also downloading drivers takes less than 5 minutes so not sure why you make it seem tedious when it’s not

It wasn't until I got a better card that it could outperform my PS5 on every aspect. N that's new parts on sale. @@funkDr1 I treat my PS like I do my PC. Example, 9yrs ago I bought a PS4 (I kept my PS3 cause of the backward compatibility problems but since 1997 I only spent $320 on PS by doing trade inns). My PS4 was $199. 4 1/2yrs ago I traded in my PS4 for a PS5 only cost $170. Then this past Black Friday sale I traded my PS5 in for a Pro cost $380. So in the past 10yrs it cost me $750 for my PS. In the same time I have spent over $5k on my PC ($3.9k after I was able to resale the upgrade parts. Some took over a month to sell). 🤦♂️ PC has always been more powerful since the 90s. The issue is that it is expensive!!!. Console has been and always will be an affordable great gaming experience. Not everyone can afford a PC that can do what a current PS can do.

I have pc and absolutely love it over any console I own but the appeal for consoles is ease of use for a more casual gamer. For someone who takes gaming legit, a content creator/streamer and it’s their hobby a PC is the obvious winner but for someone who just wants to play a couple hours after work and still have a decent experience that’s what the consoles are for. I still think the ps5 pro is a rip off in price to performance. The regular ps5 or the series X even is more worth it for the money. Great video regardless of what I have to say and I subbed! Gotta say... ya made it look less intimidating than other channels. I've been "building" my 1st PC since summer, and I have started over at least 10 times. I am a lifelong PS gamer but f PS and their cons. So, I decided to hop over to PC. I haven't really PC gamed except way back in the late 00s when emulators were the rage and early Steam days. It's been so long, I bought a build in the interim but... it cooks🤯. Now I don't know if I should try throwing some upgrades in it or use it as a secondary like I was planning... 🤔 Marvel Rivals is the only game it has any issues with but I dunno if it is just the game or the PC... Anyway, great video. Never thought to check outside of big box places and Amazon for parts
A fairer comparison should be $700 PC with no sales, all brand new parts, including keyboard and peripherals. Because this is literally how the PS5 ships : plug and play. Moreover, settings should've been maxed out for both.

Okay in all fairness you should add in a mouse and keyboard in your build. The ps5 pro comes with a controller. Also you get all new parts with the ps5 pro. Linus did the same thing though. Didn’t factor in mouse and keyboard or only new hardware.

Your missing the controller and wi-Fi 7, 2TB and AI upscaler. It doesn’t beat pro for the bang for your buck. To build it to exact spec is around $900.00 plus tax’s. To beat over 1k.

@@funkDr1 I treat my PS like I do my PC. Example, 9yrs ago I bought a PS4 (I kept my PS3 cause of the backward compatibility problems but since 1997 I only spent $320 on PS by doing trade inns). My PS4 was $199. 4 1/2yrs ago I traded in my PS4 for a PS5 only cost $170. Then this past Black Friday sale I traded my PS5 in for a Pro cost $380. So in the past 10yrs it cost me $750 for my PS. In the same time I have spent over $5k on my PC ($3.9k after I was able to resale the upgrade parts. Some took over a month to sell). 🤦♂️ PC has always been more powerful since the 90s. The issue is that it is expensive!!!. Console has been and always will be an affordable great gaming experience. Not everyone can afford a PC that can do what a current PS can do.

I have pc and absolutely love it over any console I own but the appeal for consoles is ease of use for a more casual gamer. For someone who takes gaming legit, a content creator/streamer and it’s their hobby a PC is the obvious winner but for someone who just wants to play a couple hours after work and still have a decent experience that’s what the consoles are for. I still think the ps5 pro is a rip off in price to performance. The regular ps5 or the series X even is more worth it for the money. Great video regardless of what I have to say and I subbed! Happy new year

Gotta say... ya made it look less intimidating than other channels. I've been "building" my 1st PC since summer, and I have started over at least 10 times. I am a lifelong PS gamer but f PS and their cons. So, I decided to hop over to PC. I haven't really PC gamed except way back in the late 00s when emulators were the rage and early Steam days.
It's been so long, I bought a build in the interim but... it cooks🤯. Now I don't know if I should try throwing some upgrades in it or use it as a secondary like I was planning... 🤔 Marvel Rivals is the only game it has any issues with but I dunno if it is just the game or the PC... Anyway, great video. Never thought to check outside of big box places and Amazon for parts

A fairer comparison should be $700 PC with no sales, all brand new parts, including keyboard and peripherals. Because this is literally how the PS5 ships : plug and play. Moreover, settings should've been maxed out for both.

Okay in all fairness you should add in a mouse and keyboard in your build. The ps5 pro comes with a controller. Also you get all new parts with the ps5 pro. Linus did the same thing though. Didn’t factor in mouse and keyboard or only new hardware.
