The Mixed Fabrics Conspiracy - Strange Laws of the Bible

  • Many of us have heard that the reason for God forbidding His people to mix wool & linen in their clothing is because this fabric mix is reserved for the priesthood. But where does this idea truly come from? What if a corruption of man influenced not only priestly attire, but the make-up of tzitzits itself well into the first-century.

    This was a great teaching.
I was researching frequencies and music that heal for my business. In my studies I began finding things on 100% linen and wool. I agree about the spiritual part and I was so amazed to find a physical aspect for it. Linen and Wool have healing frequencies. They both vibrate at 5000 Hz. But the current of the frequencies move in opposite directions canceling each other out. So as always our amazing Father has a spiritual and a physical reason for us to obey this commands. Just something I thought some people might be interested in knowing. Shalom, brothers, and sisters.

@@jordyn_shorts Hello Jordyn. It is nice to here from someone who has such a love for our Father. Well, I can see you have a desire to please Him, which brings Him joy. You didn’t say how you believe, so I’m assuming you are trying to follow the Law (Torah). If I’m wrong please forgive me. First, no you do not need to through out any clothes because of mixed fabrics. If your clothes are modest then you should be fine. I doubt you have any linen and wool mixed. That is really the only two fabrics that are mentioned in Torah. Some Bibles have translated it to say fabrics, but that is a poor translation. The true translation is, you’re not to mix linen and wool. The braiding of your hair. We have to look at the time. When that was written women who braided their hair or plated their hair, were women of a certain culture. And in today’s society, unless you were doing some thing really strange with your braiding, you should be fine, it’s not going to identify you as any particular kind of female. Makeup is subjective. Personally, my understanding is that if the makeup is understated, I don’t see where there should be a problem with it. Neutral colors should be fine. Nail polish I would say the same thing. You don’t want to do like reds and colors that are going to make you really stand out because when you’re walking in a set-a-part way, you probably don’t want for your nails and your makeup to look like nails and makeup that the girls in the world are wearing. We are supposed to get rid of vanity. Although theses things are important, the Father really wants to see us walk-in keeping his Laws. Like the 10 commandments, the clean food laws. To keep what the Messiah kept and taught his followers. John 15:10 and Luke 10:27 are two scriptures that might help you. I don’t know if you have reached out to PD, he is a very loving and has a lot of knowledge. I would encourage you to write to him, he will get back to you promptly and very well could have information that would help you more than me. I’m just a follower walking it out the way I believe Father is guiding me. I pray the Father blesses you and that you seek Him first in all you do. I hope I helped Jordyn. You may always contact me again if you’d like.🙏🏼💖

Linen, made from flax - 5000 mHz
    Wool - 5000 mHz
These should be worn separately. Wool's energy flows from left to right, whereas the frequency of linen flows right to left. Mixing these two together will cancel out the healing effects to zero.

Being that you have experience with deliverance and meeting many different torah affirming believers, I would love you to do a video on the spiritual implications of engaging in Babylonian talmudic rabbinic traditions, symbols, and rituals. I have noticed it becoming more and more of an issue and I'm finding it dangerous and highly concerning. It also seems rather hypocritical when those in the Torah or messianic movement comment on Christian traditions all while doing similar things or worse, but marking it as okay because it's jewish.

I agree. This has become a major concern and very troubling for me also, as these groups are springing up everywhere and so rapidly too. Sadly I find myself falling in love with some fellowships in the beginning, as I can see their sincere love and hunger and passion for the truth about THE WORD that is found only in YaHshua. Only to discover a few weeks down the line that they are all simply practicing Judaism, be in Rabbinical or Messianic..it’s “Judaism”..and they do not even know it. So so very sad.
So much so I have had to disfellowship myself from that fellowship group.
Satan has a way of opening up another exit when he finds that a believer has discovered his lies and has made a decision to seek YAHUWH and His Righteousness found only in YaHshua WHOM is our SABBATH REST.. for all who believe.. to lead them back into bondage of “religion”..whatever religious form that might take..
Hence my deepest sorrow will be that same old question that Luke also seemed troubled about..in Luke 18:8
“When the Son of man comes, will He find THE FAITH on the earth?”

    Frequency of Fabrics Chart
    1) Super Fabrics, which send positive vibration to heal and maintain health:
Linen, made from flax - 5000 mHz
    Wool - 5000 mHz
These should be worn separately. Wool's energy flows from left to right, whereas the frequency of linen flows right to left. Mixing these two together will cancel out the healing effects to zero.
I believe there is another Super Fabric that is around the corner to be introduced to us - Hemp clothing.
More about hemp and it's many wonders below.
    2) Healthier, but not a super fabric:
    Organic cotton - 70 to 110 mHz
    Non-organic cotton, bleached and/or dyed - 40 to 70 mHz
There are different articles showing that cotton can have a much higher signature frequency, even up to 400 mHz.
    3) Low energy, no healing fabrics is just about everything else that is synthetic:
Rayon, made of wood pulp, including bamboo - up to 15
Polyester, made from petroleum - up to 10
Spandex, Lycra, and elastane, made from polyurethane synthetics - up to 15
nylon, synthetic polymers - up to 15
Silk - up to 15. Made from silkworms just after they've spun themselves into a cocoon to transition into a silk moth. Cocoons are boiled (with worms in) to unravel the fibers.
A sickly, nearly dead individual's frequency is about 15. Any healthy individual with a frequency of 100 wearing low energy fabrics will have a strain on their body.
We've been led to believe genetic predisposition can cause illness, it's important to stress these non-healing fabrics are destructive! Wearing them constantly reduces the immune system and the cells inside the body where cell to cell communication ceases. This leads to accelerated destruction.
Low energy fabrics can cause inflammation, illness and even emotional issues.
    Vibrational frequency of Hemp fabric
" Plant a lot of hemp in the land of Fukashima. Hemp's vibration has the potentiality to purify the contaminated environment made by radiation "
    Dr. Masaru Emoto
To start with: Hemp is not marijuana, there is no THC in hemp. Hemp is a super-everything. It grows fast and uses very little water. The soil it grows in doesn't require rotating for many years. It doesn't deplete the nutrients from the soil as with cotton, which constantly should be rotated.
Our quantum world will have clothing made from hemp and it will be used for so much more.
    Hemp:
    Has an extremely high vibration
Is at least 4x stronger than cotton and doesn't breakdown after multiple washings as with other garments.
Breaths better than other fabrics preventing odor.
Color doesn't fade as with other natural fabrics
Is the strongest thread and also makes the strongest ropes.
Has a naturally filtering UV light helping to protect the skin
Pampers our skin more after each time it is worn making us healthier
    Is rich in vitamins
Can be used to feed live-stock and humans too.
    Is resistant to bacterial growth.
Will be used for many industrial purposes including bricks for building foundations.
    Water resistant
    Fire resistant
Controls body temperature and home temperatures. When it's cold, hemp will provide heat, when is hotter hemp will cool.

Hey brother! I appreciate the work and study you've put into this. I suggest we all come at this topic with grace and self-skepticism. It's difficult to make hard judgement calls on this topic as none of us were around to grasp the entire context. Here's a question for ya!
Tzitzits with dyed blue wool mixed with linen were found discovered in the 1st century, as you mentioned. If this was customary, and it was forbidden in Torah, why then did Yeshua not speak out against it? This may seem like an argument from silence, however, Yeshua did address the lengthening of tassels in Matthew 23:5; so why not also address the other elephant in the room regarding the tassel?
    Shalom bro!

    • @RiseOnFire
      @RiseOnFire  Год назад +1

Hey brother! Well, Yeshua didn't speak against many issues. He focused on what was most problematic. Yeshua focused most on addressing pride and hypocrisy in His day. This is why He addressed long tassels as you mentioned, since it was a pride issue.
It is, as you say, an argument from silence. While I do think the material used in tzitzits can be important, I don't consider it nearly as important as addressing a prideful heart, and I would sooner preach against pride in a church than the material used in someone's tzitzits. Similarly, it is typical of God to correct the largest sin issues with us first (see Acts 15).

I've never heard that the priests wore a mixture of wool and linen. I don't even understand why anyone would say that when we are commanded not to mix those two, and the priests are instructed to wear linen.
And why is there even a need to mix wool and linen in tzitzits? Why can't the be all linen or all wool? There really is no need to mix them together.
My question is...are tzitzits supposed to be worn on our regular everyday modern clothes, like pant loops or waistbands, or are they meant to be worn on tallits or pray shawls that you cover yourself with and that actually have 4 corners? Or were they worn on the corners of their tunics and the tallits?

    • @RiseOnFire
      @RiseOnFire  Год назад +2

Tzitzits are commanded as general clothing. God does not say we should wear them on special occasions or only for prayer or religious services. How you go about wearing them is also not commanded in Scripture, besides for the '4 corners', color, and to not mix wool & linen. When there is no specific instruction on how to make them, how to wear them, we may assume freedom and do it in a way that honors most closely to the simplicity of the commandment. God knew that clothing customs would change over the next 5000+ years, and perhaps this is why the commandment is as open as it is: leaving much open to the individual's interpretation of how to attach to their own clothing. I do not believe in adding restrictions when the Bible does not. Tzitzits were worn on tunics since this was the ancient clothing, but since tunics are not typically worn today nor Biblically commanded to be worn, we don't need to wear tunics (while we may).

    • @jamierguillory
      @jamierguillory Год назад

@@RiseOnFire I understand all of that, and am not suggesting only special occasions. I guess my question was more about what the 4 corners means or represents and were tallied worn on a regular occasion or at all times then? Most representations of Yeshua and the woman with blood show his tzitzits on a tallit, so it just got me thinking. I understand there is freedom in the command.
Also women…the command seems to include everyone but most women, especially Jewish women, don’t wear them.

    • @RiseOnFire
      @RiseOnFire  Год назад +1

@@jamierguillory The tzitzits are on 4 corners, since we are to be a light to the 4 corners of the Earth. There are other symbolic meanings too. The tallit is not from Scripture but a tradition, therefore there is no restriction Biblically. But it's traditionally worn occasionally, but also not commanded to be worn. I wouldn't worry too much about the depictions in paintings, since it is likely that Yeshua did not wear a tallit as you may think of it today, rather a tunic attaching the tzitzits.
Certain Jewish women don't wear tzitzits due to Jewish tradition (Talmudic teaching). The Biblical commandment does not restrict it to men only, but it's rather given as a general commandment to all people (male and female).

Unless you are Jewish, very few of the Torah's instructions apply to Goyim / Gentiles, e.g., if a Jew buys a Gentile slave, that slave, can be held in perpetuity by the Jewish family. Whereas, a Jewish slave must be set free after six years, unless they choose to be owned forever.
But there are conflicts throughout the Tanakh (aka: Septuagint) - as you pointed out here - and the mistake that we've been taught, whether in church, or synagogue, is that the Tanakh speaks with univocality. And Dr. Dan McClellan, a biblical scholar that produces RUclips videos, discusses the numerous problems naturally encountered when assuming the Tanakh is univocal, because it's not.
And this assumption of scriptural univocality is what causes rabbinical, and pastoral apologists to perform theological gymnastics in trying to reconcile biblical contradictions.
All the best in your spiritual journey

There isn’t an error in the Tanakh regarding these verses. The error came in with the translations itself.

Linen reduces Gamma rays by 50 %. Quite useful when you stand in front of the ark of covenant. That's all it was. Not your mystical explanation of basic science. Sorry, Boy.

.I just have read read in the bible that prophet Elijah and John in OLD Testament were hairy garment made from camel's wool.
2 Kings 1:8 is said to wear "a garment of hair and with a leather belt around his waist."
    Matthew 3:4
John wore a garment of camel's hair, with a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.
    Zechariah 13:4
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the prophets shall be ashamed every one of his vision, when he hath prophesied; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive.
But according to the OLD Testament booth prophets were faithful to God, so it seems it was a tradition
    In A New Testament
    Math 7:15
Jesus alerts us to “watch out for false prophets” He compares these false prophets to wolves in sheep’s clothing.

What garments did God give Adam and Eve?
As per the biblical interpretation of Genesis 3:21, God produced coats of skin for the first man and woman Adam and Eve and clothed them when they were found naked in the garden after eating the forbidden fruit.

It was a sign of status for the high priest golden garments and on Yom Kippur he could only wear linen garments and NOT THE GOLDEN GARMENTS. The high priest wore the golden garments in the temple for the services but only on the day of atonement he would enter the holy of holies ONLY with the LINEN garments as he was forbidden to enter the holy of holies with the GOLDEN GARMENTS.I would recommend to please research well because the teaching is minimizing the protocol of the temple and these things are serious. A simple study on the steps done on the day of atonement will show you how the steps would not allowed the high priest to enter the holy of holies with the golden garments.

Shalom Rico, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Would you mind sharing scripture to support your position?
I have not seen the Scriptures describe mixing wool and linen as the material used in the priestly garment (looking at Hebrew word used), nor that Scripture ever makes exception for priestly garments to allow mixing wool and linen.

This is a cultural commentary about the representation of tassels in the ancient near East.
Numbers 15:38 (ZIBBC OT 1): Tassels (15:38). In the ancient Near East, special garments were made for priests and royalty that identified them within their communities and to the outside world. Several examples of garments with corded fringes come from the statue of Puzur-Ishtar, governor of Mari in the Ur III period (ca. 2060-1955 b.c.), from Asiatics depicted in the Beni Hasan tomb of the Egyptian Khnum-hotep II in the nineteenth century b.c., and from later Neo-Assyrian murals.
In regards to the high priesthood and the golden garments using wool was the best type of material to use the tehelet which is the blue and they could not use linen for the material to hold the color as wool could.
I will look for the references I am in Puerto Rico or feel free to call me and we can dialogue about it more. The tehelet was known as the color of royalty, divinity and status in the ancient near eastern cultures

Numbers 15:38 (JPSTC Nu): blue Rather, “violet” or “blue-purple,” the sign of royalty. The violet, or blue-purple, dye was extracted from the gland of the Murex trunculus snail found in shallow waters off the coast of northern Israel and Lebanon. Since it has been shown that 12,000 snails yield only 1.4 grams of dye, it can be readily understood why only royalty could afford it; and hence the term “royal blue or purple.”
This is from the JPS commentary by MILGROM

Here is a interesting fact about why wool was use with the color tehelet
      The Chemistry of Tekhelet
dyecolor2Inside the hypobranchial gland of the snail, the precursors to the dye exist as a clear liquid. When these are exposed to air and sunlight in the presence of the enzyme purpurase, which also exists within the gland, they turn into the dye. Purpurase quickly decomposes, so for this reaction to take place, the gland must be crushed soon after being taken from the live snail, in accordance with the Talmudic passage that the tekheletis taken from the Chilazon while still alive. The liquid from the trunculus, produces a mixture of dibromoindigo (purple) and indigo. These molecules must be put into solution for them to bind tightly to wool. In this state, if dibromoindigo is exposed to ultraviolet light, it will transform to indigo, turning the trunculus mixture from purplish-blue to pure blue.

Understanding that the wool fabric was the most preferred because the tehelet would bind strongly to that fabric and the fact the High priest wore garments of splendor and glory he he tehelet in his garments.
Tekhelet refers to a specific dyed textile prized in the ancient world. Traditionally and according to contemporary archeological understanding, the textile comprised wool dyed a blueish color with a specific sea creature, possibly identified with the hexaplex trunculus (or a subspecies thereof). (While very specific, that is the accepted meaning of the word, just as zahav refers to a specific metal - gold.)
Understanding cultural backgrounds if the culture used by enlarge the wool as the material for the color of royalty, status this you see how they would used wool and linen in the high priest garments for the temple services. On Yom Kippur he must wear only the linen garments when he entered the holy of holies. He would use the golden garments on that day for the offerings outside on the altar but would change to only white linen garments when entering the holy of holies.
