Thanks Dustin, you’re reviews are one of the main reasons I got my the first Mavic Mini. I’ve since sold it and bought the Air 2S. This new drone seems only slightly better than the Air 2S, that being said, I will not be purchasing this Mavic 3 because honestly it just doesn’t warrant the cost. In fact. DJI has started overpricing their drones so my next drone will NOT be a DJI. I believe that the price of the product should be competitive, and $3k for something that should be $2k is just absurd. DJI has lost my business.

I remember the mavic air did a rth for 2 years ago and was just off centre by 3 inch only " I still love my air it's superb , I don't think I would like sending 3000 bucks up into the air lol
Awesome video as always. The camera qualitiy of this thing is i n s a n e. The intelligent rth feature would be nice in a future video (if it is available yet?).

By the way, 7x zoom is the actual lens focal length of the zoom camera, that's why you see the skip, anything before that is not the zoom camera lens, anything after 7x zoom is digital zooming
Hello, just wanted to let you know, you messed up your quality for this video. I tried on several devices to run 1440p and it didn’t seem to exceed 480p. Just a heads up
Probably your connection. RUclips will auto play in lower resolution depending on if your connection is slow or if it detects your device max resolution is limited 🍻. 4K works for me

When I took video using my Mavic 3, when I edit the video is not coming full screen, there r lots of blank space in the Corning.

Erhmmmmm, hate to be that guy, but 2x 6s on my inspire 1 sond super a+ in comparison. The mav 3 pro actually sounds super poopy in comparison. That actually sounds way overpowering. But to each their own. 10 outta 10 am jealous

Dji mavic 3 New update is available today. They have active track and mastershot and qickshot,..... more.
That’s good they at least got that update done fairly soon to enable those options that were missing on that expensive of a drone. Looks like a pretty great camera on it
I really dislike that they removed the display from the controller. It wasnt super neccesary, but if you somehow lost conection with your phone (app crashed, phone crashed, phone empty...) you still knew battery, height, distance...
All the zoom is digital, no optical at all. It uses the 4/3 cam up until 4x, then switches to the telephoto at 7x and begins digitally zooming that too. So you're not switching cams when you enter explore mode, just enabling the switch.
🤙 that thing is sick! And so is that skate park! Is that in Makawao? I want to hit it with my RC cars.
Great review, would love to see you give the Litchi app a thorough review. I use it in place of the DJI app these days and it has the ability to split the screen so you can wear goggles for a pseudo 3D sort of FPV feel. I have used it for normal day to day flying but I have never done waypoints or any of the fancy features of it with my Air 2. I never put my drone at any extra risk - can never forget that I have over $1000 flying in the air :)

Only problem with Active Track is its not active. Well, and it doesn't track. Other than that... Most Features were released Friday night minus Panorama and Quickshots. Focus track Suite is active now.

Hi Dustin I saw other video about Mavic 3 and its tracking functions, I see a lot of crashes with thin trees branches and lost of subject in tracking mode . I don't understand If some models of Mavic 3 are better than other from factory ... I would like buy it but I have some doubt ... it's cost is very high and I have now a DJI Air2s ... what do you think about ? thanks !
When you were flying it sideways towards you, I'm sure it said blurred sensor, please clean, that was flying with the drone face facing towards the right. 12:16 something is still missing even drone cost 3k. BIGGER TEXT TO SEE(everyone has no eagle developer eyes). cant even change them. i dont really care if all data is 1/6 screen if can see speed and battery level and everything better LOL there is like lotsa room on screen to show data, but everything crushed on sides. why?

Your videos are excellent. I watched your Mavic air 2 range test last night.. I was yelling at the screen saying "turn back!" It was intense. I have the Mini 2 and love it. Litchi is not supported for the Mini 2, so I'm tempted to get the Mavic Air 2. I previously flew the Phantom 3 Advanced for the last five years. I just wanted to say that your videos are the best! Great work.

Thanks for all of the helpful videos. I just bought an Air2S and love it! I noticed on this video, the nice compass arrow in the lower left of your iPad screen. Is that available only when using the larger iPad screen? Or is that specific to flying the 3?
Great video as always. At 23:18, I see you had a similar message as me: "vision sensor(s) blurry." I too had that message on my last two flights. I wonder if that's a software bug ?
