I’m petite, and like the XS side. There are not many places to get those sizes. Just crew, Ann Tylor, Loft, Banana Republic, and Madewell are good-to places for bottoms. Lots of department stores start at 2 or 4 petite. I need 0 and 00. Tops are easier, but bottoms are probably better selling for that reason.
Ok box…too many tees for my taste but looks like you do well with them. Would you list the sweaters now or you wait until end of Summer to start listing?
My box was a little different. I didn't get as many duplicates and just a couple of t-shirts. I did get the Keyhole blouse in different colors and sizes. I also got a couple of the same pieces as you. This was my first box with Boutique by the Box and I'm very happy with it. Definitely would order again.
Looks like you got some goodies this time! Too many tees for my preference but I still think you’ll make the margin you like. I know you prefer a 90 day turnover but the sweaters always sell for great prices for me when in season. I’ve stopped buying from them due to the selection I’ve gotten this past year but this makes me want to give them another try. Thanks for sharing!
I am definitely pleased with this box. Let's hope I can hit my sales goals with this one. I agree I think the sweaters will be here until the fall, and I am ok with that.
I'll be looking forward to the 90 day. I honestly did not love this box. Funny thing is I ordered one too, and got buyer's remorse because J Crew really has not sold all that well for me. Madewell much better. They were able to cancel for me even though I got a shipping notice, so great customer service. Best of luck to you!!
I ordered this box too and the men's as well. I enjoyed the women's box! The men's had more duplicates lol I got a good bit of the keyhole blouse in various colors and sizes , mostly tall sizes, no sweatshirts though for me. I got a madewell jacket that was cooooooverrreddd in animal hair though which confused me. Got about 12 tees, my dress was a sequined dress so it was diff from yours.i also got a madewell sweater. All my bottoms were denim and they were the same as yours even the sizes lol
Oh interesting about the denim! I have the mens box here at my house but I haven't opened it yet. I am hoping to film some unboxing videos tomorrow and have it up in a week or so. I would be bummed about pet hair! Maybe it was in a box with a super fuzzy sweater? I have had that happen to me before.
@@Ohyeahrachie that was my guess too. All of mine were pretty sealed in poly bags but I obviously don’t know what was with it when it was sent to wherever to get poly bagged so I’m sure it’s some kind of hairy wool alpaca sweater or something but looks a lot like cat hair lol 😂
I got a lot of the same things you did, plus a yellow button-down, feathered shirt that my friend says gives “Garden Party Grinch”. Also, my plain off-white tee turned out to be a graphic T-shirt with the graphic missing. 🤷🏻♀️
I got 6 of the keyhole blouses, a lot of the same stuff as you did. Given the cost of goods, I am ok with it. I was surprised that comps on Madewell t shirts are actually decent. I am seriously considering sending some of those keyhole blouses to thred up after seeing how many are listed vs sold. I just listed the dress (J Crew cinch waisted chino dress) three days ago and it has sold already so I'm happy about that. I got the blazer to match the powder blue pants you got! But mine was a size 10 lol.
Did you buy the Pistola box? I noticed they dropped the price. I have a hard time moving that brand even in jeans so I am hesitating! I love wearing the brand myself though....some very comfortable jeans!
I did not. I saw they lowered the price but it’s likely because it’s not selling, which makes me nervous. I don’t know too much about the brand except that even when I used to thrift I would leave it behind lol. So I’m gonna focus on other things.
I don’t know if you saw but it also says in the description they are mostly size 26/27. That means not only will the market be likely flooded with the same styles but they will all be the same size. That’s what dissuaded me the most!

Oooh good point. When I looked I didn’t see a ton listed. That would have been cool to get a matching set with that blazer.
My box was about 85% identical to yours. I had a lot of those keyhole tops, white jeans, and gray t-shirts. This makes me a little nervous.

not going to lie - i wouldn't be happy with this box - wayyyyyyy to many plain basics and unusual sizes.
