I guess they didn’t allow filming during soundcheck either, except for like when you’re first sitting down? I’ve never done soundcheck before for any concerts but I’ve seen a mix of people at other concerts saying sometimes they don’t really enforce the “ no filming”.

hiii if VIP is general admission you should probably see if you can have someone else buy merchandise for you. If you get in early and then have to wait in the merch line, you probably won't be able to have the spot you waited for. Since this is the case I feel like maybe they'll open a merch booth a day before the concert for those who have GA. Also you get your lanyard while you're waiting in line, and possibly a numbered bracelet so you can keep your spot in line. Hope this helps!
