- This film was published on MÜV Magazine, and I am now uploading so it lives on my channel as well. If you have already watched, thank you, and if you have not seen the film yet, I hope you enjoy.
This short piece is an examination of the spirit of parkour and our community in the face of different kinds of loss. Thank you to Raul Piscoya, Gabby St. Martin, and to my wonderful partner Sierra Wang for being in this film with me; and thank you to Kelvin Lee for being the film's incredible director of photography. Additional thanks to Charles Barratt, Kevin Sueksdorf, and Lin Yx for contributing additional cinematography; immense gratitude to Andrew Obenreder for encouraging me to share this film and for publishing it on MÜV.

Very well crafted. The acting, the dialouge, the cinematography, great job.
Wow
Thank you for watching Joseph!
I was actually recently thinking about making a post about how I always feel like my next pk video might be my last, and that whenever i train i feel this sense that all my progress and peak has already happened and its in the past. like every time i train its a weird nostalgia. But i kinda unpacked that recently and feel a lot of my conclusions were very similiar to this video, which is heart-warming to see! Really respect the effort you put into this Joshua, i don't wanna call it acting cause it felt quite real in its intent of reflecting your reality, but i thought the acting was considerately and carefully meshed into the video and told you purpose really well! The shots were also all really pretty
I know exactly what you mean. I don't know if you've seen the movie "Her" but there's a part where the main character says "sometimes i feel like I've already felt everything I'm gonna feel, and everything else will just be lesser versions of that." That's past nostalgia of course, but I have found my brain veering in that direction sometimes, and then that results in me just cancelling out avenues for new experiences, even subconsciously.
Thank you so very much for watching brother, and I'm sorry for the late reply. I'm going to be moving to New York in a couple days, and would you believe it, I've procrastinated on most of my preparation up til the midnight hour hahaha.
The feels man, i watched it twice. I hope you're doing great brother, miss you. much love
I miss you too brother. I really hope to see you and move with you again in the coming years. Sending you love as well.
This was a refreshing new direction when it comes to parkour films. Very relevant topic that usually seems to get overshadowed by the hype of other things. Hopefully more eyes get to see this reintroducing this topic to the community. Well done to you and your team for making this film happen! 👏
Jordan, thank you so much for watching and for sharing your comment. It's certainly a balance, I find myself oftentimes brooding and needing to remind myself often to take things less seriously and be open and excited for whatever comes my way. Thank you again!
This is something that I think we all have in the back of our mind as parkour athletes that we always put off. I completely understand and empathize with where you’re coming from I love you and this really hit close to home
Bryce, it means so much that you watched and commented. I apologize for responding to this so late. I love you too and am so excited to see you and train with you again soon, it's been much, much too long.
Well done! Different perspective than most things I find here on YT! Thanks for giving me a new perspective to look through
Thank you very much for watching and for commenting Chase!
@@JoshuaChenCavalier no problem it was well worth the watch!
Me importa mucho. Te extraño y quiero darte un gran abrazo támbien. Estoy moviendo a Nueva York in dos días. Si quieres viajar, mi apartamiento es su apartamiento. Espero que reunirnos en los años siguientes.
Bro this is some heavy shit man, I think I get where you’re coming from but I know that we both share a great love for movement! I found your video very touching to me
Thank you so much for watching man.
@@JoshuaChenCavalier no problem at all I resonated so hard with it, hope you’re doing alright man
