I think that "Andy" was the one who killed all those people (Melody, Margret, Claus, and Felix) when they were human. When Andy was playing 'I spy' with Claus, there was a part where Jay was playing AS Claus, running away from Andy. After Claus got caught by Andy, it cut to someone holding an AXE and killing the other, whereas, the one holding the axe (might have) been "Andy" and the one he killed was "Claus."
I just think that "Andy" (the apple) doesn't know that he (probably) killed all of them but the others do and are trying to get revenge
Edit: Okay I left something out since i didn't finish watching the end*
The mosnter thing that had a big smile at the end probably turned the person who killed the other with the axe INTO "Andy" and the others aswell, erasing "Andy's" memories but leaving the murdered people with the memories of him killing them. At the end, it shows each of Andy's "friends" with a real person's face whitch probably means that those were them before they got murdered and turned into the characters that they are now. It finally show's "Andy" smiling corruptly

Andy didnt kill anybody but Claus, Melody and Margret I believe died in a house fire, and felix drowned (as seen in the fishing game.) Andy was possessed by the demon who takes the form of Peter the pumpkin in the game.

Nice theories but andy did not kill all off them the real story is andy was a guy named thomas eastwood that have wife named kammryn which represent Margret and have 2kids which is louis eastwood being felix and isabella being melody one day louis fell of a rowboat and her sister were there but couldn't do anything and then thomas had fight with kammryn and then he goes to the bar with his friend arthur being claus in the game later thomas goes back into his house bringing present but when he walk there he saw arthur there and the house is burned down arthur claims that he didn't know anything but thomas get mad and then he saw the axe he didn't want to kill arthur but sonething took over him making him kill arthur i suppose its the entity in the end but arthur didn't burn the house down one the christmas dlc if you choose to play the Margret game on the christmas dlc you just have to take cookies out of the oven but if you didn't then its started burning and shows a cutseen where isabella was crying on the sofa and the house started to burn she manages to escape theres a chance that the oven cause the fire. So basically the game is build by thomas he put arthur and his son Louis inside the game if you wondering how he put them on the Christmas dlc there are cutseen where thomas drag arthur body into the computer and a hand phase through the screen and grab arthur body thomas said he did that to revive him again thats basically the whole story.

this is the type of game that everyone would be forever locked in their minds and when they turn older and see this game again they'd be like: "oh damn the nostalgia, i used to be a big fan of this game"
really great game. played it and it was unsettling in a great way
i hard disagree, it opened as a humor game unintentionally "... you stole my keys" had me hard laughing. then the gameplay went downhill from there. i mean, the gameplay is really repetitive kids games and the "twists" of the game are completely expected and nothing new. its a blatant copy of walton files and not in a good way

This game seems like a nightmare it follows no logic and doesn’t start creepy and holds a tone of dread throughout.

Well Ik theres a hidden thing to this, we know someone got murdered cause he murdered other people (guessing his friends) that represent the other characters there. And the eyes i feel is because he killed the guy who killed the other people and he feels like he's being watched cause he feels horrible and paranoid since he had killed someone. The maze where he is running away could be him trying to run away from the guilt? And the 'save me' at the end is me guessing hes going insane. (this is what im guessing could be wrong but yeah)

As far as the story i think Andy the apple is the one that murdered a those people they showed at the end, and Andy's friends represented the ones he's killed. So Andy is the murderer, and the rest are people he's killed.

Ok theory time before game theory steals the thunder.
During the cutscene with Claus/the humans, the man named Thomas asks a man named Arthur where they are. If you remember from the start of the game, the man telling you to be a beta tester calls himself “Thomas Eastwood”, so I’m thinking that the Thomas during the chase is Thomas Eastwood. The pictures that flashed during the ending scene had photos of people before the mascot photos showed up, so each of those people are those mascots. The man who had his face fully covered then flashes to the horrifying Andy. Andy is obviously the personification of Thomas, which means Thomas has made the game to act as if it’s his life.
The man Thomas kills is named “Arthur”, and Arthur is the personification of Claus cause he replaces Claus in the cutscene. I imagine that Claus was a friend of Thomas before the ordeal. That ordeal being the child who drowned in the lake. Felix is the cartoonish version of the news anchor who broke the news because he is the only one who mentions it. The girl who survived could be either of the girls, that’s the only part I’m not sure about.
Peter is the ghost/spirit of the drowned child, due to his childish choice of game and being oblivious to Andy’s protests. My guess is that Arthur took Thomas’s two children on a boating adventure, but didn’t predict that it would fall over. Once he realized Peter had died, he hid his body under the floorboards of the barn to keep anyone from knowing. Once Thomas found out about his sons death, he went crazy and killed Arthur.
Yeah that’s it.

Felix is the brother, melody is the daughter, Margaret is the wife, Claus is the husband’s friend, Andy is the husband. If you do margret you can drag the mouse to one of the corners then you can skip it you can do the same if claus and many people dont really know about this about Felix you drag the body all the way to the right but you can’t drag it up what I mean is you have to drag the body to the bottom right I’m not sure for melody but if you go where margret is standing go to the left there is a tree that you can walk through it will show a cutscene that’s all I know. Felix died by drowning (maybe), melody and margret died by the burned house, Claus died by Andy I don’t think Andy has a death story so does pumpkin

ANDY'S APPLE FARM STORY-pt. 4:
When Arthur left the store, he drove back to the Eastwood Residence. Only to see it was burned down to ground. This sight made him confused & horrified at the same time. At the same time, Thomas arrived back home with a gift for his daughter Isabella. When he got to the house, he saw something horrifying. The house, it was burned down. And the one standing there in the remains was his friend Arthur. This led to another argument/blame; but this one was between Thomas & his friend Arthur. Thomas had blamed Arthur that he burnt down the house; while Arthur innocently replied that he was at the store & knew nothing.
With the continuation of despair, "The Entity" that was attached to Thomas, possessed him and made him grab an axe to kill Arthur. Thomas, who was possessed by "The Entity", chased after Arthur until he caught him and then finally killed him with the axe. Unfortunately, during this action, Isabella saw everything from the trees and was horrified. Thomas, who was possessed, was snapped out of the possession; only to see what "The Entity" had made him do.
The part when Andy had to run away from Peter made me felt like if I played the game then I would be running away from my allergies

ANDY'S APPLE FARM STORY-pt. 5:
After Thomas saw what he had done/what "The ENTITY" had made him do, Thomas refused to let his friend and family that was left die so horrifically. Thomas with "The Entity" attached to him, conjured "The Entity's" help on bringing his family & friend back by putting them into the game he created which was "Andy's Apple Farm."
Somewhere around the time after Thomas put his family & friend into the game, what I believe is that Thomas tried to find a way to dispel/remove "The Entity" from him. This possibly led to Thomas killing/sacrificing someone to it or possibly looking through a Spell Book to find a spell that would get rid of "The Entity".
This, however, did not work. What I believe is that it either made "The Entity" stronger or the spell did nothing to "The Entity". With nothing else, I'm guessing "The Entity" then killed Thomas & trapped his soul in the game "Andy's Apple Farm" as well.
However..."The Entity" didn't want Thomas nor his family or friend to escape this imprisonment; so decidingly decided to jump into the game as well. "The Entity" disguised itself with possibly an added character of Andy's Apple Farm which was Peter. This was so "The Entity" could torment Thomas/Andy for eternity.

ANDY'S APPLE FARM STORY-pt. 1:
The story of the Eastwood Family goes as follows(so far):
The tragedy of the Eastwood Family started when Isabella & her little brother Louis were on a rowboat trip. Halfway or possibly at the end of the trip, Isabella & Louis fell off or were pushed off the rowboat.
Isabella managed to get back on the rowboat; but Louis was still in the water and was at the stage of drowning. Isabella was about to help Louis when suddenly "The ENTITY" stopped Isabella from doing so; which led to Louis drowning.
Isabella, who was horrified, rowed back to the shore in tears. With Louis gone, she feared what her mother(Kamaryn)& father(Thomas)would say. Suppossingly, when Isabella got back home, I'm guessing she told her mother and father about the incident; which led to the investigation of Louis.
