    Another great Q from the king. But as you said and as we all can see, it is very very expensive. PANW made the right move towards platformatization but it will hurt them in the short term. Nancy does know how to pick them ;)

    I've owned CRWD & PANW for several years. I have more shares of PANW than CRWD but I think I'll add to my CRWD position after this earning report. I'll wait to buy if it pulls back a bit.

    I really liked Brian's analysis of Snowflakes earnings and guidance. How he identified where it looks like they were sandbagging guidance. Not seen many other analysts notice that new products were not being assumed in forward looking guidance.

    Great job with your analysis. Here's a request/suggestion for a couple more ** fan-fav ** stocks for YT updates: SMLR (which recently has taken a HUGE dump), and NNOX (which many have held for years now and is perhaps suffering from poor execution). Should LT investors cut and run on these?

    Great analysis. Thanks. Keep in mind Crowdstrike only has 239 million shares outstanding. When those shares hit $600 plus, I bet the stock will split. $$$. That changes eval stats as well.

    • @joshuabrist9333
      @joshuabrist9333 2 месяца назад

      In what way will that change the evaluation of the company. Splits don't change the fundamentals or valuation of a company so I must be misunderstanding your point.

    • @z5m2
      @z5m2 2 месяца назад +1

      @@joshuabrist9333 no that's his point. *in his opinion* stock splits increase the value of a stock. I personally don't think cutting a slice of pizza into 2 gives you more pizza, but to each their own

    • @joshuabrist9333
      @joshuabrist9333 2 месяца назад

      @@z5m2 Yeah, if that was his point, it's straight up incorrect according to all legitimate experts, but I see why he may think that. There are a lot of people who like to hype based on stock splits, but according to the data I've seen shared, it has limited effect over the medium and long term.

    I was watching the price action on this today and I bought this an hour before the close. I’m very happy. It was a smaller bet though because I had less cash in reserve than usual…shucks 🎉

    Looks like a great company moving in smart directions. I own it, and am nesting on it for a while for sure. Market pooped itself a little today lol! So, it was nice to see this thing kick the gate down and run off in its own direction! Mad respect to you all who get crazy technical and dig...I get to hear you all as I gather my own information. Im doing well out here on my own. Say hi to me and push me to those in the know. Exciting spooky ass time!! Lets make some $$!. CRWD Crowed its head off today. Haha!👍

    So did Zscaler beat and raise guide and it sold off 15%. So you never know how market will react. I bought Zscaler on this pullback and think it will rebound now that crowdstrike has jumped on their report.

    I don't see how this crushes PANW's narrative. It tends to justify it. Platformizarion is a must precisely as Satya said. Crowd's module stats basically proves that much. Nor does Crowd's earnings refute "spending fatigue" by enterprises. The litmus test for that trend is not Crowdstrike's earnings. It's just not. Juicy headline. Terrible logic. And the comparison between the two isn't even appropriate. Their products don't really compete except on the edges (see what I did there?). Finally, you suggested that PANW (and CS broadly) might not have a moat in the vid covering PANW's earnings. So which is it? Are moats back on the table because Crowdstrike nailed it? Can we please just acknowledge that they're both great companies and all this chest-thumping is a bunch of quarterly noise? Otherwise it just gets everyone emotional and they make bad investing decisions.

    Really overvalued business, I've enjoyed the ride so far, but I'll sell now and buy some of its competitors.
    It's business has no moat, that gross margin will drop a lot when growth stalls.

  • @rescueninja4728

    Everyone is shouting overvalued. IMO, stock valuation is like looking at a painting. Each one has their own interpretation, what you can’t account on is the emotion.
    In selling and buying back in, you have to time those two right.
    I saw a lot of people shouting on Twitter that they will sell before earnings and buy back after. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    The guidance of CRWD was crazy and they're taking market share of PANW. 4b recurring revenue from subscription and growing minimum 20%.
    People say expensive, but you need to understand investors' love predictable and stable revenue growth, and that's exactly what CRWD delivers.
