KROKUS........one of th' GREATEST heavy metal bands in th' world............PERIOD .
And about 3 persons agrees with you across the whole wide world...period. Don't hate me , I liked some of Krokus but it's a little over the top to call them "greatest" about anything.
it's not heavy metal.
This is one of those albums that I didn't really care for the first time I head it - I picked out one or two songs I liked and ignored the rest - but came back, listened to again, and wound up loving. I'm convinced that the greatest tragedy of rock and roll history was Krokus not hitting the same heights as AC/DC at least.
Well, that's setting the bar pretty dam high...
The lead singer of Krokus could step right in for AC/DC n you wouldn't hardly know the difference and I'm a fan of both bands .

Solo existio un bon scot, pero escuchar a marc storace y su banda es un recuerdo continuo. todos sus albuns son muy buenos.
Nunca había escuchado como era debido esta banda, pero desde hace unos días vengo escuchando un album por día empezando por Metal Rendez-Vous (1980) y siguiendo en orden cronológico hasta hoy con este Album y mi conclusión es que todos los albums de los 80's son buenos, pero en los 90's al menos los albums que llevo escuchados (el anterior a ese y este) son los peores que he escuchado, sin lugar a dudas para mi el album The Blitz (1984) es el indiscutible y por mucho No.1 album de Krokus

I like em too, but they aren't in the same league as JP ACDC or IM in song writing or musical talent. Album and ticket sales show that...
Let's hold our horses about that. Krokus could never had the upper hand to say what they wanted to do next, so many of their albums tried to chase trends advised by their record label, sometimes succesfully, but most of the time not, but from Metal Rendez Vous to The Blitz they always delivered, despite of the wave they were trying to ride on at the time.
Flighying through the night is my favorite song on the album.

They were saying that Krokus sounded like AC/DC in the early 80's
..saw them live around the mid 80's and they were good and fun...still like them and their NEW Live album is due for release in February I believe.
They're not the remotest bit like ac/dc, heavy metal is the only connection

That album and The Blitz are from the time period when Krokus went pop metal. That's not the real Krokus - the real Krokus is Metal Rendezvous, Hardware, One Vice At A Time, and Headhunter. Those are their best four albums by far.
One of the most underestimated bands of the era!! The guitar work is great.I think they did"nt become more popular is they did"nt sell out,like a lot of bands did! I could be wrong.

Listen to "Wagon Gone" from this album (1995), then listen to "Wild Reputation" from AC/DC´s album "PWR UP" (2020). Is AC/DC now copying from Krokus?

I'm a big krokus fan the rumor has it that they're getting ready to put out a new CD and the pandemic hit and the CD never came out what's going on with crocus at this time
This time they have definitely disbanded. Marc Storace didn´t want to retire, so he set up his own band named "Storace". With this band he sings old Krokus songs and goes on with new music.
