Hi, thanks for this informative video. 1 question, in TLS Contract, when I am trying to provide my UK postcode, it is suggesting only characters and spaces allowed. obviously post code would contain numbers, which is not allowed. Any suggestions on the same. Thanks

I booked train ticket from Eurostar because the tickets are flexible to change and less hassle than flight.
Secondly I did reservation in a hotel Bt I did it pay instantly. It had a option to go and pay. And free cancellation before 7 days.
So you can do the same.

No not all the pages. Pages only with visa stamps if any.

First of all, your Europe travel is nothing to do with your fees instalment. Secondly you can travel to Europe from uk on Schengen visa during Christmas time as it’s a holiday period so within that timeframe you can travel. Just ask for a no objection letter from university. It’s easy to get and universities generally give that.

I have two queries one is,
1: can i apply for the TLS form without filling the France visa form?
2: suppose i filled france visa form and filled TLS form as well then after I'll book my flight tickets and hotel booking n all, because im worry about oppointment date when I'll get. So as per my oppointment date I'll book my flight tickets and hotel bookings so is it ok?
1. You won’t be able to complete the tls form without the France visa form. So you have to fill the France visa form as well.
2. When you are filling the application you have to mention the date of your flight ticket. So keep atleast 2 months in hand and mention the date. But your flight date and the date you gave mention should match.
An application with the preferred appointment location set as London City. However, I have received an appointment confirmation for Manchester instead. Could you please guide me on the appropriate steps to either reschedule the appointment or ensure that it takes place in the originally specified location?
Did you not selected the preferred location before starting the application
It usually doesn’t happen liked this that they change location
If you reschedule still it will not give you option to change location

Please I urgently need your help....my husband applied for a France short term visa...it was our Christmas and New Year vacation....VFS appointment completed and all documents including passport were submitted....we got an email from the VFS Centre saying that the France Consulate have now received the visa application and it's in process at the France consulate....that was on the 24 December 2023....it's been 1 month and 1 day no reply....our flights were supposed to be on the 10th January 2024....please how long do we have to wait as we are both on leave...I understand I don't need a France visa as I'm a New Zealander but my partner is afghani....please can you help us. Usually they say 15 working days for the visa
But it takes around 4-6 weeks to come.
It depends for different people
I have seen people getting g visa in five days and someone like more than a month.

When we are on psw we get brp that’s your residence permit card so you become resident of uk
So you need to mark that
Second you need to do your booking for hotel and train or flight before because when you will fill the form you have to give those details
So you are applying for France so it’s good that you will stay in France for 10 days and it won’t affect anything. It’s not imp that you have to go to different countries.
If you plan to visit other place keep in mind that first time travelling you need to stay more number of days in France
For Ex if your trip is for 10 days and you plan to go Germany as well then you stay like 7 days in France and 3 days in Germany .
If you need to show your past travel it’s absolutely fine nothing to worry about it

You still have one month time
So I believe you will get your visa before the travel date. They say 15 working days you will receive the passport let’s assume 20-25 days still you will have time.

You can mention it in your cover letter as your itinerary. Where are you travelling and mention the name of the hotels or place you will stay. But stay more nights in France orelse they won’t take it. For example if your going for 14 days then try to show more nights like 9 nights in France and reaming in other places.

3 months old and there is no particular amount is mentioned on govt website but what I found is maximum 2000 to 2500 pounds are enough.

You have to give email address of your manager or anyone from your superior position. They usually don’t enquire or send any mail to your employer.

France visa usually 3-6 months. I received for 6 months

@@user-ys5og9ct9e yes they will send you an email stating that you need to collect the passport from TLS office or if you have chosen by post option then they will give you a tracking ID of royal mail to track your passport. Keep checking the TLS website regularly as well. It usually take one month to get back the passport.

Yes you need to show the whole itenary of your plan. Book a hotel with cancellation option so that if you want you can cancel the booking if required.

You cannot get tourist visa for more than 90 days
In some cases, People do get Schengen for more than 90 days. Sometimes Months sometimes even 1 year.

I know taking the dates for biometric is not easy, I got the booking in prime time
Try to login everyday in morning around 8-8.30 and check do you get prime time allotment. It will cost you 50 pounds more and need to pay on the day of biometric.
Now a days booking is close as well because of continuous strike in France.

Hi can you tell me what if have multiple hotels booking and multiple dates where should I fill those information in visa application form?
In visa form just mention the date you are travelling to Paris and hotel booking.
If you are travelling to different places like Belgium or Switzerland then mentioned that in the form where it will ask other places to visit.
When you will attach the cover letter mention all the itineraries clearly with date and hotels in that.
Attach all tickets and hotel reservations.
Kindly remember if you have applied for France visa you have to stay more number days in France than other places.
Like if your trip is for 10 days so stay in France for 6 days and other 4 days diff places.

I filled the hotel details and I submitted application form but I need to change the hotel as I am finding difficulty to get direct fligh to that place .
Don’t change it now then first let your visa comes and then you can do any changes. Because you will take the printouts of your hotel reservation and they will match it with your application

For 3 I don't know the application form should be one or separate
As I am not aware of the group Schengen visa but Iam sure there must be some process to do in a group.
Contact Tls office they will guide you properly.
Now it's almost like impossible to get an appointment. Can you suggest any legitimate travel agencies in London, who can help with all the processing?
And one angecy is saying about TLS mobile biometric, which they can do in there office, and the charge is £250! I'm a bit confused.
No don’t pay money to anyone. It can be fraud. Keep checking the tls website every morning 8-10 am. If you are lucky you can get the appointment in prime time.

I have booked my appointment with French Consulate for early next week. And accordingly have make the documents ready including Travel Tickets & Accommodation letter.
I am planning a visit to Germany as well within a gap of 45 days from France Trip. Accordingly, I have prepared Covering Letter mentioning both the trips (with itinerary). For Germany I have booked the accommodation however yet to book travel.
Query: What to do for Travel tickets for Germany. Should I show the Dummy tickets for Germany or should I book actual tickets? If dummy then which website should use. Are dummy tickets valid for VISA.

Note : As Germany trip is 4-5 months ahead, considering uncertainties I haven’t booked my Travel Tickets yet ( a family trip)
Don’t show anything about Germany
Just show them recent travel to France and in the cover letter only show the itinerary for France.

Many thanks for your video and assistance ( response to my queries).
I got my Visa within 6 days and got it for 6 months, multi entry.
I would like to highlight one experience, which you can use / share with others while responding to their queries:
Ideally we should take our photos in the required format. Even Though there is a photo booth available in TLS office, however the queue at Photo booth was thrice longer that the queue for VISA.. maybe it majority of ppl wouldn't have got the photos and hence the queue.. however carrying photos helped us in getting visa application + biometric completed within 45 mins ( from entry to TLS office till Exit).

I preferred Eurostar train to visit from London to Paris more easy and hassle free. A bit expensive then flight but for me train was better option. Hotel booking I choose booking.com and use the filter as per your preference. I hope this will help you.

Another question My TLS account is showing an error "You have been temporarily blocked to prevent unauthorized use. You have reached the maximum number of allowed connections, please try again later"
Yes you need to book the flight tickets and accommodation because in the form you have to fill the details of your hotel mentioning it’s address email I’d and phn number. So it’s important. Try to book those hotels where you have cancellations policy because you might not get the biometric dates and then you need to change the dates.

Yes you need to fill the form again but don’t worry reference number will not change just take the print out of tls one and the France application form.

Yes you need to fill two different application form one for yourself and one for your wife. There is no such option of adding a new applicant in the France visa apply individually

Not sure about couple applying for Schengen visa but you both can make separate application and go for biometric. Still contact TLS

My query is w.r.t Surname & Given Name on Passport. There is no Surname in Passport in my case. When am filling the required form on TLS Contact Site for booking the appointment am unable to move ahead, as here both the fields are mandatory viz. Surname & Given Name. What should I fill in Surname to move ahead?

Trying since yesterday however upon login and clicking on book appointment getting a msg " Sorry there is no available appointment at the moment. please check again later". Any advice or suggestions on how to book appointment slots
HI Puja, I logged in again at 9.30 am today (GMT) and saw slots available for next week. Have booked the slots accordingly by paying the service fees. Thanks once again!

I know dear but there is no other option on keep on checking everyday in the morning for some empty slots. I know it’s difficult try to call tls office once in the morning and you can request them once not sure how much they can help you.

Yea you do need travel tickets as well as hotel booking and all the itineraries for your travel.
I have 9 may appointment for Norway vfs London travel date 2 june.
Travel date gone Waist Hotel booking and Airline.
Now what i will get decision and when i receive passport?
It takes time to get the passport. You will get the visa and you will need to plan it again
