Cheers Rhys. I tried to do something a bit different and still show off my new darts. On a lot of my vids I'll mention that I use something but not go into the specifics of why. So this covered that 😀
I use the Condor Axe flights also. The “Longest” lasting flights on the market. They do get to the board faster than any other combination that I’ve used. I prefer the longer darts also, although I tend to prefer a grippier dart.
Interesting to hear what you use for your setup and why you use them. With the many different sets of darts I have, I dramatically change the setups from how they are as new. I similarly have an unconventional style of throw due to suffering dartitis. I have trouble throwing longer darts due to them fishtailing, I’m always tinkering with different combinations until I feel I’m happy with the result. Great stuff WWD 👍🏻
I was wishing for you to try these darts, iam from CZ and these instantly got into my mind about the similarity to your previous darts, glad you got around to them
Worldwide; really good video. The equipment explanations are spot on and easy to understand. If you like those darts so much, make them your back-up set in case one of your match darts gets damaged. Thanks and keep the videos rolling.
haha funny point about you sticking the point into your finger, I actually have to grow the left hand corner of my nail 2-3mm on my middle finger, and the point rests inbetween the groove between my nail and fingertip. I once cut it off whilst not thinking, and I had to pull out of a competition the next day as I couldnt throw a dart!
Haha, that's crazy. I've actually heard of one other person doing something similar with their nails. I forgot what it was but it sounded close to your story.
Nice to get some deep dive to the setup, im using condors also and i just got 2 sets of KOTO darts on the way and cuesoul tero system flights with them to compare with the condor flights to see which system is better
I very much follow your advice of throwing simple, cheap darts. Until recently, my setup was 20g Red Dragon Javelins, 32mm Mission Sniper Ripple points, and short stems and #6 standard flights. Recently, I purchased a set of 22g Red Dragon Hell Fires. I haven’t repointed them yet as I’m not 100% sure which points I want to go with. But they’re thrown with intermediate/tweener stems and #6 standard flights. I’m happy with both, but I’ve found that I’m a little more accurate with the extra 2g from the Hell Fires. And I know you love it, but my stems and flights are GREEN!!! Thanks for all of the awesome content.
Hell Fires are amazing darts, played my best stuff with the 24 gram version. Sold them on cos I felt they became too heavy for me, but kind of wished I hadn't!
This was perfect timing - I am hunting for new darts and I throw similar style barrels. I decided to pick up a set of ONE80 Bavaria 4s. Love the content as always!
The used equipment completely makes sense to me. Im also using specialty points on tapered nose darts. Also I use Cosmo carbon stems (I cant believe how long I'm already using the same exact stems - they're still perfect) and Cosmo fit flights pro (light like thin flight but hold form over time like thicker ones). Thanks for sharing your stuff! 💪
I agree with multiple things you said on this video. First of all I love the specialty points but only difference for me is I prefer the longer points. I don’t use the tip of the point as a reference marker. As far as barrels go I prefer mine a little more grippy than you do. I do love the molded flights such as Cosmo and L-Style and do agree that smaller flights take stability away. I think I prefer the shape flights as they are slightly skinnier than the standard but bigger then the slim’s or super Kites!
Great information as always. I think the takeaway is to find what works for you and knowing why is important as well. We are all different however we are all trying accomplish the same thing, accuracy. Forget about what appeals to you and stick with what works for you.
Loxley Bull 23 gram, with kite flights, medium stems, flies great and looks amazing. I also throw with a Unicorn 21 gram, gripper 4 stems and 100 micron regular flights.
Sometimes it puts me a bit off the way you throw, but then I think, this guy is so good in the way he does it. And despite of the darteritus you have/had, the love for darts was that big that you invented your own way of throwing that is just sublime. I mean, the bulls, and the 180's.. damn! yep, big respect towards you man! + amazing channel! Cheers mate! (ps, same probs here( (not on the same level as yourself mind you ;) , sometimes all goes so well, other times, ..... pffff)
I appreciate the comment. I put myself off too. When I have to edit these videos it drives me nuts! For years I never showed myself throwing in my videos. I hate it but I guess it's what makes me different 😁
This videos great, love the little insights on people's throws. I used to do that exact thing with my ring finger but I would end up eventually breaking the skin on my finger, so I've been messing with point lengths for years. Over and under that finger, now I've adjusted my throw so much it doesn't even touch the point now. Great video. Au player here
Thanks Dylan. It's funny, sometimes when I'm reviewing a set of darts with a really sharp point it pokes me a bit in the finger and I have to alter my grip slightly.
I just got into darts. I have 6 sets of darts now experimenting with what works best for me. I think I finally found it. I got a set of one80 F 22 gram style from Amazon. I use a medium stem and standard flights. Now that I have a barrel I like, I'll be looking at points and eventually some condors.
that was a very interesting video for. As a newby, playing alone in the living room, i feel pretty lost sometimes, and i try all kinds of stuff without really knowing what i am doing. I really liked the explanations, which help me to get some direction into my choices, other than i like the looks
Great video, I've gone to specialty points now, thanks to your videos. I now notice that my flights last way longer than usual. I've just ordered Kevin Painter legend darts, and got some mission specialty points to go with them. I prefer shorter barrel darts, used to be the bomb shape but now I'm going for straight barrel. I use short or short plus stems depending on length of barrel and standard shape flights. Looking forward to watching the Andrew Gilding darts review as he is a local player to me and many others being from the same county. 👍🏼🎯
Hello, I started using Target SwissPoint darts about a year ago and immediately fell in love with the system. I know they’re weak and I broke a lot of them since I started using SP but I just love the way you can switch point styles, colours, lengths without having to worry about a point no longer staying in without glue. For a few months I tested out a lot of SP Target darts but there was always something wrong with the grip, length and overall feel until I recently tried out the 9Five Gen 9’s in 24 grams and I threw a 125 in the dartshop first throw. These just feel right and I feel like sticking to the 9Five series darts as they all have a similar shape. I tried them with Condors but the length is just not what I want and now I still use the original stems, witch feel right but are overpriced and the aluminium flight holders bend way to easily. I switched to the slightly longer 30mm nano grip black SwissPoint because of the way I get my dart ready for throw it just didn’t feel right sticking to 26mm. I know this is a long comment but you told us you wanted some long elaborate comments so here you go 😅 9Five Gen9, 30mm SP points, original Gen9 titanium shafts, personalised regular size flights.
Great video, always interesting to hear why people use certain equipment and how they think it suits them. I'm still fairly new to playing darts (just over 2 years now) so remain in the experimental phase of seeing exactly what works for me. I've recently made a few tweaks to try and rediscover some form. I was using the Dart Clearance Classics in 21g (inserted some tungsten putty into a 20g set), with the small Condor flights in short length, and a 42 mm point. I liked how the stem and flight combo helped the darts reach the board quickly, with an upward angle of entry so I could "understack". That angle makes things so much easier imo. I used the long points mainly since I like to have finger grip, and if the point is too short the grip will go into the sisal and pull out fibres. They also definitely help me group the darts tighter and it's visually appealing having more of the treble bed to aim for. However, my throw was getting quite snatchy and I was probably pushing the dart a bit too much rather than throwing it properly. With my form so bad, I decided to switch things up and get the latest 20g Darts Clearance 80% Tungsten darts (the black edition). Similar dimensions and weight to the Classics, but with less grip in the hope that I would get a cleaner release. I also relaxed my action a bit to try and make it smoother, and to compensate I have switched to bigger Standard No. 2 flights and intermediate stems. Offers a bit more lift and allows me to let the dart do more of the work. Still using the long points though. Seems to be working so far as I'm playing much better than I have for months, and it just feels like I'm throwing better as well.
Both DC darts are great. You made a couple awesome choices there. Funny, out of all the darts out there on the market we're both using DC darts. I'll probably stick with my $16 version I got for Christmas simply because of the numbers I've been putting up. They don't seem like a dart I'd use but I can't ignore how well they throw.
I've just read a comment from you on some small RUclipsr's channel yesterday. It was about Condor flights. It's shocking that he doesn't realize the lip on his darts is causing all the damage. That lip will destroy ANY set of flights no matter the quality. Almost hard to believe he doesn't know this.
I’ve tried the Phil Taylor Target system where you screw in the back of the stem, 8-flight, L-style, and Robson. I always end up going back to punched flights. Condor is on the horizon, I like the concept and they’re still selling like crazy, so there just might be some truth to all the hype. Thanks for the review!
I have a set of the condor axe’s and plan to get others. I like that they’re sort of rubbery and they’ll flex out of the way and reduce deflections. But mostly I like that they’re light, and straight. They don’t get all warped and twisted like paper flights so I feel like they throw straight more consistently. I can’t tell the difference in speed.
I use 20g James Wade premeire darts, mission 28mm micro-grip points (silver, I know you're not a fan Worldwide, but it was all that was in stock), and Condor Zero-Stress Long Shaft/flight combo. Been working for me for a couple of seasons now in league play.
Thanks for the explanition of your setup, i used also the condor axe butt now i using the Cuesoul Ak57 Rost T19ice blue and (for me) there are top off the bull. also love ultra thin barrel ( now on the One80 ultra bavarian with mission's 38mm points) Keep up the good work
Super helpful video worldwide! I have been looking at customizing my darts more recently and this has solidified my stance on getting new points and condor axe flights. I am currently using the newer Steve Beaton's with small standard flights and medium stems. I used to use short stems but recently switched to medium length and I've been shooting much straighter. The standard points are 26mm showing, and now I am debating between getting the 28mm or 32mm mission sniper points. I am also debating between the standard or small standard condor flights, so far I haven't had complaints about the flights, so wondering if you have any suggestions. Cheers!
Thanks for the comment Nikola! The flight size is a tough one. I could use either size without much problems but I seem to prefer the standard size the most. Effortless to throw because of how fast they travel through the air. I'm not one to complain about the speed of a flight but the smalls travel almost too fast for me. It could totally be my imagination too. One of these days I will have a radar gun here on the channel and that will answer a lot of questions. I'd go with what you're used to and get the small size. As a bonus, they're easier to find nowadays as the standards are sold out everywhere!
Did you ever tried the old Phil Taylor shafts (the aluminium with the plastic Lasso where you put in de flights) the are really fast and stability. I use these on the Chris dobey darts. Always with specialty points the mission sniper points thanks to world wide!!!!
I'm a Scallop Darts Typ. I have 7 Dartsets all with Scallop design and 5 with different grip Designs, just for fun, for friends at home and because they look pretty. :-D My matchdarts are the Aaron Beeney steeldarts from Loxley (22g, 50,80mm long, 7,10mm diameter). They are fitted with 30mm Target Nano Storm Points in black and clear (with Logo on it) Condor Axe flights in Small / Medium (small Flights size / medium stems = 27,5mm). These Darts have replaced my old Darts, the KOTO Kingwaves (I still have them).
@@WorldwideDartsYeah I saw the review, but I was more interested in the black darts clearance (reviewed 4 weaks ago), but unfortunately I haven't been able to get them yet. I think the small Scallop is worth a try. The Scallop is too far back on the Karella Fighters and I'm more a middle to front gripper.
im using simon whitlock darts and condor axe flights 27.5 and im started to throw with the condor axe when im had dartitis and sinds then its going better.
Hi Worldwide, Here's my list where i started with and what i have now: Started with 24 gram red dragon razor edge original, nitrotech stem, normal flight. Still have them cause those are my first ever set of darts. Allong the way i sold 3 sets, front weighted, almost no grip 24 gram winmau foxfire's, 24 gram front weighted ton machines also winmau and Red dragon javelins (the barrel was to long for me) I now own 8 sets of darts from torpedo shape, to straight barrels all with set up with L-style, Cuesoul AK5 Rost (small) and Cosmo flight and stem. Cause normal flight and stem weren't really working for me, they didn't stay in a straight angle, destroyed easely and such. My throw has become allot more stable sinch i bought my first set of L-style; so better stick to what works and that's for me molded flights and 23 gram barrels. Oh before i forget this is what i own (somewhat in order) RD Razor edge original (24 gram) with 37 mm white bulls shaft and white L-style L1 EZ's, grip level: 2.4/5 (razer grip) Winmau overdrive (23 gram) L-style 190 short stem and L-style L3 shape flight, grip level: 2.5/5 (ringen grip) Grand slam double 11 darts (24 gram) with crossfire 40 mm stem and normal flight, grip level: 2.5/5 (twin ringed grip) Target ALX model 02 (22 gram) with 37mm bulls stem and L-style L1 flights, grip level: 2.6/5 (scalope grip with pixels) Winmau Poseidon (23 gram) with Lstyle 190 short stem and Lstyle L3 shape dimple flights, grip level: 3.1/5 (ringed grip but the rings are cut out in squares) RD Evoke 02 (23gram) with 31.5mm cosmo stem and cosmo fit air flights, grip level: 3.2/5 (square grip milded back section) Shot frontier trapper (23 gram) with Lstyle 260 inbetween stem and L1 shape flights, grip level: 3.6/5 (verry sharp razer grip at the back end) Shot Devon Peterson wisdom (23gram) with short AK5 rost flight and stem combined, grip level: 2.8/5 (razer grip with a coating) I'm so happy with my collection, all my darts suite me well cause i'm a rear gripper! The reasoning behind so many sets is pretty simple: I'm to curious to keep it at 1 or two sets of darts and it keeps it interesting for myself. But if a tournement comes up, 2 to 3 weeks before the tournement i will highly train with 1 or two sets that are similar to eachother. besides that i like having the option to choose with which set i wanna train with if i don't have a tournement coming up. So i think that's basically it, thanks in advance for reading my comment! See ya in the next one Worldwide and keep up the good job! Your reviews and CuZn tournement is great to see! Greetings G.Musiclee
Great vid. Loved hearing what you use and why. Me i like a light dart but am a switch hitter. I can throw between 16g all the up to 28g darts i just have to adjust my throw between each set i use. But mainly i use a skinny barrel. Multi ring grip. My match darts are: 20g snowman rod barrel by booyah darts(barrels are skinny enough for me and can pack a tigh grouping in the treble) Points i use is one 80 reflex points(the perfect size for me and stick well in the board without any bounce outs) Shafts i use the l-style 330 shafts that spin at end(perfect length for me) Flights i use is the l style ez shot flights (protects the shaft from getting robin hood and bent up and also if it gets to close it spins out of the way so theres no bounce out or deflections) With all that those are my match darts and i have become more consistent with them.
If you like really skinny barrels I would definitely suggest the RD Wayne Warren darts, they are super slim and have a subtle ring grip, and lighter barrels at 20g
@@darrensmith336 Yes, my match darts ar standard. I do have both though. I have a video coming soon where two Darts Clearance darts go up against one another and those darts will have Condor Axe Neon smalls. I like both sizes but the standard seem to be a bit more accurate for me. The smalls are almost too fast.
now i'd be interested in you throwing cosmo and condor flight/stems/combo side by side and see if we can make out a big difference! maybe it would be a good video idea to do this with multiple setups, standard normal flights, pear, etc.
I use the designa x patriot wales edition, i only started in January 2022 and ive tried about 5 sets and keep coming back to the patriots. I recently repointed them with the mission ripple sniper points and since ive used the long standard condor axe ive not ever looked back. I got into darts partly because of this channel however ive just done my acl playing football so might be a while till i can play darts again.
The Patriots are an amazing set of darts. Sounds like you have a perfect set up there. Sorry to hear about the injury. You'll be back before ya know it. Hopefully it's not the leg that's in front while your throwing?
Have you seen the new condor axe slims out now? And lately I like my match darts (soft tip) and my practice darts (steel tip) to be the same length and diameter. It seems after a few minutes of practice with either I'm adjusted back.As long as it's simple multiring straight barrel a gram doesn't matter much to be. Intermediate nylon stems and l style EZs on the back . Don't have the hardest throw and just what I'm used too
Yeah, I've been wanting to get them but they haven't been available at the shops I normally buy from. Another person just told me they have them at A-Z Darts. I'm sure quite costly though.
I still like my Bunting 12s with Fit Flight Super Shapes in clear on a #3 stem. Just a guess but as light as the darts are, any messing with them screws up my throw. Even putting colored super shapes still feels different but that may be in my head. I have to use the super shapes to get them to the board quickly. If I throw standard shape flights they fish tail all over the place which seems opposite of what should happen. Most of my friends think my darts are "fun" but in the end still think I'm weird for using such a light dart. For a guy that started with 26g darts when I got into playing about 25 years ago, my game sure has changed quite a bit!
Yeah, that's a huge change but what a lot of people (your friends) don't realize is that there are quite a few world champions who used/uses light darts. Bunting, Hankey, Priestley, Bob Anderson, John Walton all used 18g or less. Then the last BDO World Champion (Wayne Warren) uses 20g. Former PDC world #1 Colin Lloyd used 17g. Rock on with your "fun" darts 😁
My matchdarts are the same Red Dragon Chiefs 24g, 95% tungsten for like 4years now. Have used a set of 260(midi) L style locked straight carbon stems, and big standard l style flights and metal caps. I have two sets of the stem, haven't opened the other one, so it might last me a lifetime. Flights i buy usually in that l style "soft" 5set jar. 5sets usually last me a year. So it is super low maintanence at this point, carbon stem won't ever brake, metal caps neither. Same set of white big standards 5 a year, thats the only thing i buy once a year. And maybe a new set of 36mm target black diamond points every couple years. Might call it boring, just plain white or plain black flights on a black stem and black barrels and points, i call it consistent, classic.
Currently throwing the one80 dragons 20g, finally bought them after more than a year of eye balling them. Using a 41mm mibgrip point and white medium standard condor axe. I really like them, but I can't figure if I'm getting along with the thickness. I find it hard to get a consistent grip on such a thin dart. 😕
Very insightfull video, thank you for that. I seem to recall that you really liked the Gabriel Clemens dart and was considering to keep them as one of your regulars. What's the status on those?
Have you ever used condor zero stress flights? I got a set of axe condors like you got but i need to repoint my darts because of the lip. But man i love the zero stress flights if you ant tried them you should. Thanks for the videos man ive learned alot!
I'd like to see some matches against real players in future :) I played soft darts against my dad for many years. I bought a steel dart board for my apartment and used conversion points with my softdarts. I've experimented with different barrels. For a long time I preferred straight barrels. But I've been playing with the Target Agora A30 (20g/ 18g barrel) for a long time. In the meantime I have switched to 24g Target Agora A02. I always used Harrows Ceramic in size M and Red Dragon Hardcore Flights.
Hi, great video. I use a 27mm extra short stem & standard flights (Red Dragon) in 17gm Featherlight darts. Do you know if a Condor flight is available in an equivalent length? (55mm in total, excluding thread).
Thanks. Love your darts btw. The Condors only come in 3 lengths and the shorts might be slightly longer than what you're used to. It's going to close though. Within a few mm
I feel like getting more bounce outs with the Condor Axe flights, maybe cause they’re a bit harder than my L-Style kami flights I’ve been using the last months. Maybe it’s just me, or me having a soft throwing action I don’t know
I have tried L-style,Robson and Cosmos Fit Flight, even with specialty points I would destroy all of those especially the Cosmos. After your video of the Condor neons I tried a set. What a difference, since then I have 20 sets of Condors in several different colors. I think I will forever use these and never look back. I’m thinking of trying the slims but I have never done well with a slim flight. What do you think, you will like the slims.
@Mark Cain Thanks for that. I wasn't aware. I do buy from them every so often. I try to stay neutral nowadays. If they have good deals I'll mention them. I think they've improved over the years
I haven't been able to find "my setup" yet, I think with the amount of variety I play with, nothing feels consistent enough since each set throws different. Need to -stop buying darts for a bit &- focus on a set or two. 😂😂
@@WorldwideDarts That reminds me, I need to grab those DMC & Lee Evans darts if they're still available? Having issues checking the bay to see if they sold yet.
@Worldwide Darts best greetings from Vienna! I am just curious about @8:17 I thought you would be known for using longer points? like up to 40 or 50mm (you also throw 66mm incredible well) points. I saw a lot of your videos about it and thanks to you and my idol (whitlock) I also got in love with longer points. In comibination with light and thin barrels, it's a dream for me personal :D Sadly, the didn't sell this "lip points" with 40 or 50mm, so I can get just normal long points which aren't cover with the barrel. Is it just a change you make for yourself currently and got sick of it? You always mentioned how nice longer points are because the barrel is further away => more space for triples and grouping. Neverthenless I must say, it dindn't make me a better player .. I am really new to darts (1 year) and when I see a lot of the top guns who aren't using long points and have a lot of thicker barrels who easily make endless triples with it, it shows that only skill count's but as I mentioned in the beginning, I thought you preferrd longer points :) ps: I am very thankful for you videos, independent which content of darts. You are soo authentic, likeable and you seem to be a very cozy companion (hope this is a good circumlocution ^^). Furthermore I like your explanations and genuine honesty. Kepp up the wonderful work and I am very grateful I found your channel, always motivates me to play darts and was one of the reasons I got into this sport :) Best wishes from Austria!
I do promote longer points for most players. I thought this was a decent video... ruclips.net/video/ZNkWCEDJJ8g/видео.html With long points you can use Trident's and that will help save your flights. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate you taking the time to type that out.
I wish I could throw a longer dart. Anything after 45 mm just slap the board for me. So I’m pretty much stuck with bomber style since I also like a heavier dart and I use the long condors and short points to make up a little bit.
One80 Aztec points. They have a few different styles. Very nice points but they do lose some of their aggressiveness fairly quick. NOT a super aggressive point to begin with though. Just enough.
Can someone tell me what kind of flights dimitri van den bergh uses? It's the same material as the 50th anniversary Barney flights but I don't know what the material is.
Surprised you didn’t swap to something like the Martin Adams darts earlier - basically the same as the Evil Charlies. Is it because they aren’t lighter than 22g?
Basically the same darts like you said. I could probably use those as well. To be honest I'll probably stick with my Darts Clearance darts for a while.
Forgot to say. 21 grams. It's hard to say what you'd prefer but with the weight of these spread out over 54mm I think longer darts end to feel lighter? Just a best guess though. You'd be okay with 23's but then again, the 21's are nice too
Im in the states, and am somewhat recent to playing darts again. For years I used steel, or aluminum..shafts/stems. No reason in particular...but I notice that most folks on TV/RUclips..use plastic, Is there a reason? Thanks
Funny, I just wrote about this recently... old.reddit.com/r/Darts/comments/10z6z2i/aluminum_or_plastic_shafts/j825mv5/ Soooooo many players in the USA use aluminum stems and knurled darts. I'm in the USA as well so I see it often. We're stuck in the heyday of darts in the 1990's it seems. There's actually quite a few players who still use a movable point. I'm sure you see similar things?
@@WorldwideDarts Im not in a league or anything, I just play with a few friends.. I cant say I have noticed movable points, But as I get more involved, "the more I learn, less I know" !
Sorry I can't let you know about the condor axe flights since those babies are never in stock!!! they're too popular. You're lucky with the short point preference. It's impossible to find 40mm specialty points so I'm forced to use tridents. It works but just doesn't look as cool and it's also hard to find etched or lazered or grippy 40mm points.
Vid I needed thanks. Now I just need to search up how to put those storm tips on and off
Glad you like them WW you already threw them better than I did while you were talking 😂
Thanks Dan. They're flying good so far but I still like the $16 darts. Tough choices!

Thanks, will do!
That was a great video WWD a great insight
Thank you 👍🏻
haha funny point about you sticking the point into your finger, I actually have to grow the left hand corner of my nail 2-3mm on my middle finger, and the point rests inbetween the groove between my nail and fingertip.
Love the KOTO darts! You made a nice choice there. Imo they make some of the nicest darts on the market.
I very much follow your advice of throwing simple, cheap darts. Until recently, my setup was 20g Red Dragon Javelins, 32mm Mission Sniper Ripple points, and short stems and #6 standard flights.

This. It's important to find something you like and go with it 👍🏻
Loxley Bull 23 gram, with kite flights, medium stems, flies great and looks amazing.
@@WorldwideDarts exactly :)
I love the condor axe zero stress slim for me
This videos great, love the little insights on people's throws.
Glad it was helpful!
Day and night difference with the specialty points 👍🏻
I know this is a long comment but you told us you wanted some long elaborate comments so here you go 😅
9Five Gen9, 30mm SP points, original Gen9 titanium shafts, personalised regular size flights.
Must be nice having a dart shop near by. I have no idea where a local shop is. Gen 9's threw nice. I like them 👍🏻
Another great video ! I love the way those condors light up in led lights . I have them paired with the amberfittons it’s a great combo
great vid again mate
Thanks!
I can’t tell the difference in speed.
hey ! nice review mate (: they looks awesome for me and I cant whait to Dartshoppper for restocking their Neon Axe Condor ..
I use 20g James Wade premeire darts, mission 28mm micro-grip points (silver, I know you're not a fan Worldwide, but it was all that was in stock), and Condor Zero-Stress Long Shaft/flight combo. Been working for me for a couple of seasons now in league play.
Thanks for the explanition of your setup, i used also the condor axe butt now i using the Cuesoul Ak57 Rost T19ice blue and (for me) there are top off the bull. also love ultra thin barrel ( now on the One80 ultra bavarian with mission's 38mm points) Keep up the good work
Awsome man. I need to play with some different weights. Can’t fine the weight I want
@@WorldwideDarts Thanks for the advice! Now I just need to hope DC will fix their shipping to Canada, it's still at 15$
Did you ever tried the old Phil Taylor shafts (the aluminium with the plastic Lasso where you put in de flights) the are really fast and stability. I use these on the Chris dobey darts. Always with specialty points the mission sniper points thanks to world wide!!!!
No, I don't recall using them. Don't remember to be honest
I can mail them
I send you a email with a picture of the Phil Taylor stamps
I'm a Scallop Darts Typ. I have 7 Dartsets all with Scallop design and 5 with different grip Designs, just for fun, for friends at home and because they look pretty. :-D
My matchdarts are the Aaron Beeney steeldarts from Loxley (22g, 50,80mm long, 7,10mm diameter). They are fitted with 30mm Target Nano Storm Points in black and clear (with Logo on it) Condor Axe flights in Small / Medium (small Flights size / medium stems = 27,5mm).
These Darts have replaced my old Darts, the KOTO Kingwaves (I still have them).
Sounds like a great set up. The Beeney darts are great. I bet you'd like the Karella Fighter darts I just reviewed.
Hi Worldwide,
Here's my list where i started with and what i have now:
Started with 24 gram red dragon razor edge original, nitrotech stem, normal flight. Still have them cause those are my first ever set of darts.
Allong the way i sold 3 sets, front weighted, almost no grip 24 gram winmau foxfire's, 24 gram front weighted ton machines also winmau and Red dragon javelins (the barrel was to long for me)
I now own 8 sets of darts from torpedo shape, to straight barrels all with set up with L-style, Cuesoul AK5 Rost (small) and Cosmo flight and stem. Cause normal flight and stem weren't really working for me, they didn't stay in a straight angle, destroyed easely and such. My throw has become allot more stable sinch i bought my first set of L-style; so better stick to what works and that's for me molded flights and 23 gram barrels.
Oh before i forget this is what i own (somewhat in order)
RD Razor edge original (24 gram) with 37 mm white bulls shaft and white L-style L1 EZ's, grip level: 2.4/5 (razer grip)
Winmau overdrive (23 gram) L-style 190 short stem and L-style L3 shape flight, grip level: 2.5/5 (ringen grip)
Grand slam double 11 darts (24 gram) with crossfire 40 mm stem and normal flight, grip level: 2.5/5 (twin ringed grip)
Target ALX model 02 (22 gram) with 37mm bulls stem and L-style L1 flights, grip level: 2.6/5 (scalope grip with pixels)
Winmau Poseidon (23 gram) with Lstyle 190 short stem and Lstyle L3 shape dimple flights, grip level: 3.1/5 (ringed grip but the rings are cut out in squares)
RD Evoke 02 (23gram) with 31.5mm cosmo stem and cosmo fit air flights, grip level: 3.2/5 (square grip milded back section)
Shot frontier trapper (23 gram) with Lstyle 260 inbetween stem and L1 shape flights, grip level: 3.6/5 (verry sharp razer grip at the back end)
Shot Devon Peterson wisdom (23gram) with short AK5 rost flight and stem combined, grip level: 2.8/5 (razer grip with a coating)
I'm so happy with my collection, all my darts suite me well cause i'm a rear gripper!
Thanks for the comment. That's a nice collection of darts you have there. Cheers!
Great vid. Loved hearing what you use and why. Me i like a light dart but am a switch hitter. I can throw between 16g all the up to 28g darts i just have to adjust my throw between each set i use. But mainly i use a skinny barrel. Multi ring grip. My match darts are:
20g snowman rod barrel by booyah darts(barrels are skinny enough for me and can pack a tigh grouping in the treble)
Points i use is one 80 reflex points(the perfect size for me and stick well in the board without any bounce outs)
Shafts i use the l-style 330 shafts that spin at end(perfect length for me)
Flights i use is the l style ez shot flights (protects the shaft from getting robin hood and bent up and also if it gets to close it spins out of the way so theres no bounce out or deflections)
With all that those are my match darts and i have become more consistent with them.
Thanks for the comment. I like the L-Style E-Z flights myself.
@@WorldwideDarts yea the l-style ez flights have that cover part that goes over shaft and protects it and saves me from breaking and going thru shafts
If you like really skinny barrels I would definitely suggest the RD Wayne Warren darts, they are super slim and have a subtle ring grip, and lighter barrels at 20g
Definitely been meaning to get them for review. I've had them in my cart several times.
@@WorldwideDarts They are a really nice slim darts the atomised coating adds a bit more feel to your grip! I think you will like them..
Another great video are your condor axe the standard size flights hard to get hold of in UK thanks
Impossible to find them nowadays it seems
@@WorldwideDarts are yours the standard size fight ? Cheers
Thanks for your reply I really enjoy your videos been hitting quite a few booms myself recently so improving cheers
now i'd be interested in you throwing cosmo and condor flight/stems/combo side by side and see if we can make out a big difference! maybe it would be a good video idea to do this with multiple setups, standard normal flights, pear, etc.
I need to invest in a radar gun that will be able to pick up the speed of a dart. $$$
@@WorldwideDarts hehe :)
Fortunately its not my standing leg so may be able to get a few throws in now and again.
Love all your videos, so frustrated that the Condor Axes are sold out everywhere.
Huge production issue it seems. They've been out of stock everywhere for months! Almost impossible to find nowadays!
Will you be trying the new Condor Axe Slim?
Yes. As soon as Dartshopper gets them in
Remind me of the Shaun Greatbatch darts them new one there. Tempted by them
I use the 22gr Snakebite Pl15's with 32mm Mission Sniper ripple points ans Condor Axe Neon yellow small flights in medium length.
I think you will also love this set: Legend Darts Pro Series V6
A winning combination togheter with Condor Axe ... 🤩
I just had the 11's show up yesterday
Nice! Give it some time and everything will click eventually
9:29 I would like to see what your throw was like before dartitis
Pretty much the same minus the elbow movement
Very insightfull video, thank you for that.
I seem to recall that you really liked the Gabriel Clemens dart and was considering to keep them as one of your regulars. What's the status on those?
Thanks. I sold them off a long time ago. In the future I might revisit those darts for another review. They seemed to work really, really well for me
Have you ever used condor zero stress flights? I got a set of axe condors like you got but i need to repoint my darts because of the lip. But man i love the zero stress flights if you ant tried them you should. Thanks for the videos man ive learned alot!
I've tried them but found them to be a bit too soft
I'd like to see some matches against real players in future :)
I played soft darts against my dad for many years.
Those darts look great
How do u get the paint off the darts guys??
ruclips.net/video/jVFfBIe_-Fw/видео.html
Hi, great video. I use a 27mm extra short stem & standard flights (Red Dragon) in 17gm Featherlight darts. Do you know if a Condor flight is available in an equivalent length? (55mm in total, excluding thread).
Thanks. Love your darts btw. The Condors only come in 3 lengths and the shorts might be slightly longer than what you're used to. It's going to close though. Within a few mm
I feel like getting more bounce outs with the Condor Axe flights, maybe cause they’re a bit harder than my L-Style kami flights I’ve been using the last months. Maybe it’s just me, or me having a soft throwing action I don’t know
Do you have a lip on the front of your darts?
@@WorldwideDarts I have my custom darts made with an one80 nose so no lip there🤷🏽♂️ have u ever tried Storm points on one80 darts?😂
I'll use the slims on my Frankenstein darts. That's the only set I'd use them on. I'll do a review if I can find them
@@WorldwideDarts A-Z has them but I know how you feel about them!

You should review Quantum Antigrav
48 x 5,7 mm ( come in 15 & 17gr)
First time hearing about them. I just had a look and will 100% be getting them soon. Thanks for the info. 👍🏻
I haven't been able to find "my setup" yet, I think with the amount of variety I play with, nothing feels consistent enough since each set throws different. Need to -stop buying darts for a bit &- focus on a set or two. 😂😂
Yeah, that's exactly how I feel. Too many darts. Besides I just saw a pic of your collection. You have problems 🤣
@@WorldwideDarts That reminds me, I need to grab those DMC & Lee Evans darts if they're still available? Having issues checking the bay to see if they sold yet.
@Worldwide Darts
best greetings from Vienna! I am just curious about @8:17
I thought you would be known for using longer points? like up to 40 or 50mm (you also throw 66mm incredible well) points.
I saw a lot of your videos about it and thanks to you and my idol (whitlock) I also got in love with longer points. In comibination with light and thin barrels, it's a dream for me personal :D
Sadly, the didn't sell this "lip points" with 40 or 50mm, so I can get just normal long points which aren't cover with the barrel.
Is it just a change you make for yourself currently and got sick of it? You always mentioned how nice longer points are because the barrel is further away => more space for triples and grouping.
Neverthenless I must say, it dindn't make me a better player .. I am really new to darts (1 year) and when I see a lot of the top guns who aren't using long points and have a lot of thicker barrels who easily make endless triples with it, it shows that only skill count's but as I mentioned in the beginning, I thought you preferrd longer points :)
ps: I am very thankful for you videos, independent which content of darts. You are soo authentic, likeable and you seem to be a very cozy companion (hope this is a good circumlocution ^^). Furthermore I like your explanations and genuine honesty. Kepp up the wonderful work and I am very grateful I found your channel, always motivates me to play darts and was one of the reasons I got into this sport :)
Best wishes from Austria!
I do promote longer points for most players. I thought this was a decent video... ruclips.net/video/ZNkWCEDJJ8g/видео.html
With long points you can use Trident's and that will help save your flights. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate you taking the time to type that out.
axe I bought transparent colors, which bothers me when I measure, backs away it glitters, must buy color that doesn't glow, fly well
I wish I could throw a longer dart. Anything after 45 mm just slap the board for me. So I’m pretty much stuck with bomber style since I also like a heavier dart and I use the long condors and short points to make up a little bit.
Nothing wrong with shorter darts. Taylor and Lowe made a nice career with them 👍🏻
Sorry WWD but what were those points you have on the bavaria ultra darts?
I use short points for exactly the same reason,, point against ring finger
There's a few of us. Maybe dozens 😂
Hi wwd... what gram are these?
I normally throw 22g... if these are 21 or 23... Best to go higher or lower in grams?
Forgot to say. 21 grams. It's hard to say what you'd prefer but with the weight of these spread out over 54mm I think longer darts end to feel lighter? Just a best guess though. You'd be okay with 23's but then again, the 21's are nice too
Did you try ceosul flights ak3-ak5..for me are better then condors
I have not but they're on my list to review
Im in the states, and am somewhat recent to playing darts again. For years I used steel, or aluminum..shafts/stems. No reason in particular...but I notice that most folks on TV/RUclips..use plastic, Is there a reason? Thanks
Funny, I just wrote about this recently... old.reddit.com/r/Darts/comments/10z6z2i/aluminum_or_plastic_shafts/j825mv5/
Soooooo many players in the USA use aluminum stems and knurled darts.
I have never actually seen a movable point on a dart. All three sets I own have attached points.@@WorldwideDarts
What darts are the gold ones please ?
One80 Beau Greaves
Sorry I can't let you know about the condor axe flights since those babies are never in stock!!! they're too popular. You're lucky with the short point preference. It's impossible to find 40mm specialty points so I'm forced to use tridents. It works but just doesn't look as cool and it's also hard to find etched or lazered or grippy 40mm points.
Yeah, those things are out of stock just about everywhere!
Nice pin!
This was a good video.
No I'm not a bot.
How can we play a match? That would be awesome
