ImmersionRC Vortex 250 Pro Maiden!

- FPV Drone Racing via GoPro. One of the first flights on my new ImmersionRC Vortex 250 Pro! This is with the upgraded Xnova 2204 2300kv motors but still on 3s, GF 5x4.5BN. Loving this quad, and especially on my brand new Headplay HD's! :)
Great maiden flight loved the teardown video also love my vortex 250 just got make the transition from line of site to fpv its kinda intimidating at first
I have had lots of people come up and start talking to me while I'm flying. I focus on landing first, then I turn my focus to them.

+chris miller Today I think!! I have 4x brand new Revolectrix 1500 70C HV 4s lipos ready to strap on and fly. After doing my first race yesterday, I can't believe how fast 4s HV is!! It's like night and day! I'll post a video once I switch over. Thanks Chris!
Awesome. You will love it. I started out on 4s. And put a 3s on just for shits and giggles. So much more fun with 4s. I should receive my pro . Tomorrow or Monday
+chris miller awesome!! You'll love it. If you already know how to fly these quad racers, jump ahead to Umma's protunes. There's a couple others I like as well, but play with them. Oh and update to the latest OSD firmware on IRC's site and then upgrade to BF 2.3.5 release from Boris. I've done 30 flights on the newest firmware and it's compatible with the OSD firmware just fine. Don't forget to enable airmode in CF and an arm switch. I tie both together and love it!
Nice Landscape! But your Vortex is a bit out of tune. At least add some D on Roll and Pitch to get rid of these wobbles after Rolls and Flips ;)
Thanks! Ya, this was one of the stock beginner protune but on my new Xnova 2204 2300 motors so I hadn't tuned it at all. I'm flying a few others now and learning how to tune them up. Thanks for the tip!
Eganwp you're welcome. Remember to always tune your PIDs in acro mode. If possible, give betaflight a try. Check out my latest videos. These are with betaflight and stock PIDs.
+retardedband Ya I'm actually running BF 2.3.5 currently and loving it. I put airmode on a switch along with arm/disarm. Works great! Loving acro mode now that I'm used to it. Took a few flights to get used to it but now after 30 flights and my first race yesterday i feel much more confident.
Awesome! I have Airmode always on. I just love the full control even in "zero gravity mode" ;)

get immersionrc liftoff simulator/game for steam on pc. that game made me a whole lot better.
