This has some nuggets, and Arauz is clearly brilliant, but he’s sadly not a good teacher - there were SO MANY concepts he just used as if his audience was perfectly familiar with. An opening course really needs a more didactic teacher who can break down concepts and explain them, not walk through them assuming common knowledge. I didn’t necessarily walk away understanding many new things. Nevertheless it’s a learning process for PI I acknowledge, and I affirm Arauz’s work generally, he’s an important leader on for the global Left.
