You gotta love a farm girl. Not many around these days. I notice a lot of criticism of her shooting technique. True, she could have better technique, but she was shooting almost straight up that hill, and she did hit what she was aiming at. I'd play it safe and not make her mad. More impressive is how she gets right to work after shooting. That's a solid young lady!

I did not realize they are an invasive species that is terrible for eco system. So, killing goats is what must be done. Wild pigs are such a problem in parts of the US, they kill them from the air, and still cant slow the population growth. They too, are invasive.

During the rut several deer would be hit in our suburban area every year. I remember one such time a lady called because she hit a deer and when we arrived the quite attractive female police officer I worked with jumped out of the car, spotted where the deer crawled off the road, pulled her gun and shot it. The lady driver screamed that she called us to help it. My partner told her we did - we put it out of it's misery. She then - no joke - plopped down beside it, pulled the knife off her belt and started gutting it, with an ever larger crowd gathering. A beautiful female officer in full uniform with blood up to her elbows, not helped by the tiny rubber gloves on her hands, was gutting a deer with bewildered city folks watching. We extracted as much meat as possible that was not damaged by the bullet or being hit by the car and took it to a church ran kitchen for poor/homeless people. They gladly accepted any fresh meat we were able to provide them. They had volunteers that would come out and collect it if we were too busy. The lady felt better knowing it went to the needy. The blood on us worked in our favor for the remaining calls that night, but supervisors told us to call for the volunteer butchers in the future.

Man, Australia is 700 times worse. We literally have feral camels... As well as almost anything else you could think of.
I used to go out to the outback and you would see mobs of feral goats literally in the hundreds, drive two minutes down the track and there is another mob of 150, so on and so forth for thousands of miles of foodless, arid land that they somehow thrive in.... Mostly by uprooting what little vegetation there is and ruining it for local native species and driving them away/starving them.
Australia is probably the most ruined ecosystem on the planet and it is way beyond any sort of repair. They have tried everything and feral numbers just keep climbing as native numbers plummet.
We have to shoot feral pigs from hellecopters in Australia (they do it in NZ too) and still they just repopulate within a week.

Fantastic shooting there lady. Can you tell me about the rifle you're using. You definitely can hear that "ThaaaWAPP" of the bullet impacts. Something that hunters that don't use a suppressor don't often hear. Btw, I highly recommend the Pulsar XQ-50-LFR-II thermal optic. We run this thermal optic on my coyote rifle here in the US. It raised our kill ratio from 15-20 a year (Day light hunting only) to over 120-130 a year just hunting at night now. I use a custom built AR-15 with a 20" Criterion 1-8 twist barrel. You need to look into getting yourself a SILK 700 aluminum tripod and hog saddle mount. No more trying to balance off the truck bed. And you can shoot for hours either standing or drop the legs and sit your butt on a padded bucket or a small stool. Id be happy to share/trade photos of the gear we use for nuisances coyote work here in the USA. Its good to see a lady in our industry. And not just letting the nuisances critters go to waste either.
