Great job guys , interesting here in Florida I do a lot of re repairs also I find that unskilled labor has it's drawbacks also the homeowner takes the lowest bid in many cases . I came across a homeowner that got scammed from a local company that built a beautiful show room the problem they are rated F by the BBB with so many complaints but consumers rarely check big stores.
My daughter ordered a kitchen from Lowes I warned her but she did it anyway the first time installers used nails and just hung the cabinets not lined up at all so Lowes came out to inspect and gave her a new cabinets it took over two months before she was satisfied , also she had to pay all cost up front and wait . Craftsman like you are getting harder to find , thank you for your video .

Does gluing it down inhibit the expansion and contraction?

Tim, thanks for the video! Do you recommend the AquaGuard Bamboo floor for a second-floor condo? If not, what product is best?

I had bamboo installed in my bobble home and it's a mess they put down a type of padding first but it's always popped and snapped when I walk on it it's as hard as ceramic floor I asked when I bought it was it ok for a mobile home they said yes he checked the floor and repaired any bad places I was told you can't take bamboo apart it would destroy it when I did is this true?

Does the floor have to be redone completely when this happens, or can just the affected area be redone?

We have a bamboo floor that is less than 6 months old installed by the sellers before closing. They hired a shoddy crew that glued the floor to concrete that was untested for moisture, had no expansion spaces, and glue exposed in the seams. It has now completely lifted and has held so much moisture we have black mold growing. Removing it is now a horrendous chore and all the beautiful, new bamboo is no good. Quality work is getting so hard to find these days.

Do you know what glue they use? Sikabond is a sealer and nothing gets through it. I laid 6ft runs instead of the new 4ft standard, because I apparently hate myself! 🤣 FYI I do not envy flooring installers after 2500sqt… but seriously 6ft looks much better!
