I LOVE LOVE this drama. The beginning kinda pissed me off with the usual troupe: a clingy, submissive, with low self-esteem FL and the emotionally abusive, stoic, mean-spirited husband. What kind of husband doesn't know his wife's parents died, or that the wife's family took all the inheritance her parents left her? I thought not another one where she takes all abuse and goes back to the scumbag. And then the drama flipped the script and I fell in love. **SPOILER*** To cut a long story short, now the ex feels bad...whoopie do, who cares? FL quietly fell for 2ML and his family adores her, unlike the poisonous family of her ex. And the best part is she married the 2ML right in front of her ex in the traditional Chinese way, with the serving of tea, etc to his parents. And not the simple white wedding where they are quick to get divorced. I also loved how the FL's sister twisted the proverbial knife in the ex. That was so gravy. Psst, unlike the drams with the fake pretentious sex scenes, here the FL and 2Ml went for it. No shame in their game. I added this one to my favorite playlist. Well done. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
😂😂 these are my favs at the moment. Wife leaves, and they think that she'll just come back. It's the countdown from 3 for me in these dramas. Expecting her to come right on back. 😂. If you've seen the Rose Coronet/ Crown of roses with Wang Gege and Shen Haonan, it is very similar to that. Ml has the best family. He's so in love with her, too.

FL did the right thing. She had suffer so much under that ex husband of hers. He treated her like nothing. He was always short with her and tell her not to bother him and to solve it on her own. He never loved her and still blame her for everything. Like she said he doesn’t love anyone but himself. I just wish they had not spent some much time on that loser and focus on her new relationship with the new husband. She stood her ground and didn’t turn back to go back to that loser ex all because he begged her. She finally realize at the end who truly loved her. Happy ending for her.

The ML is the most toxic version of the "cold" CEO type who's always ignoring the clingy FL. But this ML doesn't need any of his male or female friends to brain wash him. He is living in his own world revolving around himself. How can any spouse not be aware that the in-laws died?! Even estranged spouses keep im touch with in-laws and relatives just for social points.
I actually liked that the 1st half of the focus was on ML(or SML?). Too often in these dramas, the neglectful/toxic husband realizes the full truth at the very end of a drama and we only get to see about 2 minutes of his retribution. I was savoring every second of ML's karma in this one, wondering where the story was going to go because there was over an hour left of run time. For a moment, I thought the whole drama would just be flashbacks of what he put his wife through. Then we find out she survived/recovered. This technically has 2 storylines; the second half with the doctor is another version of the Xie Yanlie storyline. Those can be found on YT (my favorite version is the one starring Shen Haonan & Wang Gege) Guy crushes on girl secretly for 10 years, while girl was in love with another. It's super sweet and the entire drama revolves around the main couple after the FL resolutely moves on from her toxic ex.

I liked this one a lot! It’s a mix of 2 storylines, so technically speaking it has 2 true MLs. It’s just that the second true ML appears later in the story. Overall, this was great, and I’m glad she didn’t take back the first true ML and went to the second amazing one. ❤❤

And, the second part of drama is so similar to Wang Gege and Shen Haonan plot crush for 10 yrs. Finally a smart FL who realises the 2ML is the decent guy who will love and treat her the way she deserves. There is no sign of her wavering but I was still nervous to the end that she’d go back.
The performances by the actors were truly outstanding. I felt satisfied with the way the story came to a close. The female lead was incredibly strong in her decision not to go back to the male lead. It brings me joy to see her end up happily with the second male lead she chose, and they found their own version of a happy ever after.
