I love having an audible subscription, because you can purchase a book to listen to, plus you get their 'plus catalogue ' free with subscription to borrow books to listen to. Perfect fir chronic issues especially when even reading is too much for the brain.
I tried it, but I can't seem to focus on the words when I don't see them, but it's great for others!
for me it's a nay, because I don't read fantasy books nor do I read cozy fantasy books.
I read two of my daughters youth fantasy books because they were on the theme of alchemy, but that's it.
I love to read good novels that I hear about, get recommended, or I find them in the bookshop and they make me curious on reading.
And I do love to read books on topic that interest me, such as card related books, or books on art, creativity, psychology and so on.
currently I read Rick Rubin, "the creative act: a way of being"
A great one 🥰!!
Also, Shelby van Pelt "remarkably bright creatures" wonderful novel with tension❤
I am always interested in what other people read, so yes to further book Talks 😍
I hope you feel better soon, Geeske, sending you some good luck ✨🍀🐞
Thanks! 👍😉
After your previous recommendation im about to start reading The Once and Future Witches, too 😊.. Have you read Peter V Bretts' book The Painted Man? I think it's a fantasy trilogy or maybe four books. I read them all years ago and more recently and just loved them so much..really had me gripped.
Thanks for the tip! I don't know that author yet.
i voted for yay, but I think these might be too cozy then.... I find fantasy needs tension too, but with cozy I mean that it doesn't always have to be the horror or thriller type of tension. For example fantasy books for kids, like neverending story by Michael Ende, or dragon rider by Cornelia Funke, I do consider as cozy fantasy, vs. "crueller"fantasy such as Adventures of Amina AL Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty. Btw, have you read that one? I loved it! Can't wait for the 2nd and 3rd book!
Not yet! I also think fantasy needs a bit of tension. Cozy is nice, but sometimes gou need some action!
