10:09 They have a long history, going back millennia, of observing breed health. A conclusion they have come to is that temperament and health are paramount. Other Kaimerans breed for outstanding features and coloration, but the Akanuk consider this to be an influence of inbreeding that irreparably damages the health of their best friends.
    I like the Akanuk already.

Wolves are truly incredible, noble and magnificent canids ! With the most popular and well Known being the Grey Wolf aka Canis Lupus, who is the most widespread canid and wolf around the world.
Their impact on human culture troughout history are indisputable.
On earth there a total of 6 wolf species :
    - The Grey Wolf (Canis Lupus)
    - The Coyote (Canis latrans)
    - The Golden Jackal (Canis aureus, so not a true jackal, these latter being of the genus Lupulella)
    - The African golden wolf (Canis lupaster)
    - The Ethopian Wolf (Canis simensis)
    - And the Red Wolf (Canis rufus, recently place as a distinct specie but highly endangered)
With maybe a seven specie with the Eastern Wolf (Canis lycaon) but we don't know if it's a distinct specie or a sub-specie of Canis lupus.
But anyway, what we must remenber, is that these canids are a good example that showing how diverse and differents species of a same genus can are, and how they can have a different appearance, behaviors and ecology beween them despite that.

      @@TalesofKaimere Yep !
Because in general, it's true that most species inside the same genus are similar in everything (ecology, physical appearances, behaviors), which have several time lead to taxonomy's problems (being said, today, at the era of DNA examination, that become very easy to directly and definitely confirmed if yes or not we have a specie, a subspecie or just a morph).
For example, every gazelles species of a specific genus are similar in everything (the species inside the genus Gazella, for example, look very similar between them).
But this is not a single unique way/trend in evolution, and exceptions are numerous in the animal world.
Many species of the same genus can be very differents on many level, especially physical appearance.
Outside wolves, bears of the genus Ursus (4 species of the total 8 species around the world) are also a pretty good example !
With the Brown Bear, American Black Bear, Asian Black Bear Polar Bear and the Extinct Cave Bear being highly differents as on the diet, physical appearance and behaviors level.
The fact that differents species have high differents traits between them show in good part that each show specialisation process adaptations. Because they continue to evolved. A good indication that the current species have a good age to just become overtime more and more differents. Thing that will lead to sub-genus groups (like in current numerous Varanids of the single genus Varanus). And overtime becoming each member of a new complete genus one day.
The species of a genus that look similar with low differences show that they are all very young species that appeared from one each others very recently, and as an effect, haven't had the time to obtain their own differences trait.
But this aspect have also numerous time lead to taxonomy's errors. With species that we thought to be in differents genus due to their high differences but in fact inside a same genus noneless.

On kaimere, inside the Known World, there at least 8 wild canid species :
    4 wolves species =
    - The Southern Islands Wolf (from which originals Kaieran dogs descend before earth's dogs were brought on kaimere during the Mercantil Age that lead to the diversity we see here. He's also complete omnivorous, thus the others are less of this diet).
    - the Mainland Wolf
    - The Common Jackal (a distinct apart specie of worlf that descend from the Hybridation even between the Golden Jackal aka Canis aureus, who is not a jackal but a wolf being inside the genus Canis, and the African Wolf aka Canis lupaster).
    - The Coyote (same specie as on earth, canis latran, being also a wolf despite the popular believes).
    2 Dholes species =
    - the Dire Jackal (only, commonly, on Pakardia on the Highland of the islad, meaning almost all the island itself)
    - the Bear Dog
1 fox specie describe here =
    - the Common Fox (who I ca guess is our beloved Red Fox).
but it's confirmed that several others fox species exist on kaimere
And 1 species from the Borophaginae sub-familly of the Canidae family =
    - The Panther Dog (one single specie from the Known World who came from the Eastern Continent, being a descendant of the Oligocene Legacy. Several others species exist on this continent).

It's great that there greyhound on Kaimere ! It's my favorite kind/breed of dogs and among the most popular and most important and popularized dogs in human cultural history of every cultures on earth !
They are even, if I can say that, the most perfect dogs ever !
They are very beautiful looking, with their unique gracile and slender shape.
Their temperament are docile, playful, obedient and are pretty attached to their owner/master.
If, of course, they are mainly know for their speed and uses mostly for task that need to be quick as ability, mainly hunts and race, and being highly specialize into that (being the cheetah counterpart of the canids/dogs), they are, in fact, very flexible !
Greyhounds were also uses by many ancient people as home and livestock guardian dogs, or even simple compagnon pets. Among others uses.
Despite not having a great power level in the jaws, the faact they are quick to bite, to retreat and to bite again even during one minute make them great attack dogs.
They are very incredible dogs ! Because despite their fin and slander body, greyhound are in reality pretty endurant (being able to run in a high speed level during many minutes), very muscular and robusts dogs. They are even among the dogs breeds reconized to have great resilience level and being very resitant to most diseases !
They are truly dogs that deserved to be respected and and as they deserved considered by most every people on earth and always throughout hman history as brave, usefull, noble and magnificent creatures. Noble and Royal people often have greyhounds as main dogs for hunting parties.
Just to note, all Greyhounds breeds are include into the Sighthounds dog group (who include others dogs breeds who aren't greyhound) because greyhound haven't a great smell at the opposite of all others dogs and hunt who the eyes at sight.
Since they have permanently many energy, they must be released outside everyday, but hey, every breeds have some incovenients.
So, in final, it's cool to see that Greyhound manage to set in Kaimere ! Kaimeran must have them among the most popular breeds of dog and these later being very usefull to them !
I don't know of their number is on kaimere, but the number diversity of greyhound must be reasonably good throughout the Known World !
On Earth, there currently 13 breeds classified in group 10 and 5 breeds distributed in group 5 of the official nomenclature established by the International Cynological Federation.
With the English Greyhound being the fastest of them (and as a result the fatest dog breed of all).
All the greyhound compose entirely the Graioids category, and by far, constitute the only category of dogs (of the 4 categories reconized with the molossoids, braccoids and lupoids) to be composed by similar looking and closely related dogs breeds (only exclusively greyhounds).

Important thing to take into account :
(Domestic) Dogs aren't a subspecie of Canis lupus at all ! It's a high missleading and misconception gived by the scientists.
Dogs, in general, are just the domestic form(s) of Canis lupus, the Grey Wolf.
And the Grey Wolf, him, represent the wild form of his specie
If scientists depict dogs as a subspecie, or even a distinct specie : Canis lupus familiaris or Canis familiaris, following the taxonomies.
It's because in a attend to only, ONLY in order to avoid confusion with ferals population of domestic animals who have returned into nature !
Dogs are just a domestic form, and as an effect, must be regarded as following :
    Canis lupus f. familiaris.
A subspecie of a specie, to be regarded as such, must have all his representative specimens being similars or identical in appearance, sharing unique and specific traits that make her apart from the others subpecies.
But with dogs, having around 300 breeds/forms inside the same animal, it's not the case at all, and as an effect, dogs cannot be regarded as a subspecie or a distinct specie at all.

Domestic breeds of animals possibly brought to Kaimere during the Antiquity era :
    - Cattle : Watusi
    - Goats : Toggenburg, Baladi
    - Sheeps : Karakul, or others polycerate/multi horned breeds
    - Chickens : Araucana hen,
Ayam Cemani hen (the all ultimate black hen),
    Dorking hen,
    Old English Game hen,
    Burmese bantam/Burma hen,
    Campine hen/kempisch hoen,
    Braekel (from Jules Ceasar times),
Fayoumi (from Ancient Egypt Pharaoh times),
    Kurokashiwa,
    Onagadori,
Ko Shamo breeds (Yamato-gunkei-like shaping breeds),
    Breese hen (from Roman era),
Roman era Minorca hen (extinct, a close relative to the current Minorca chicken),
Cochin hen, Silk hen, Sumatra hen, Yokohama (already extant at 600-800 after J-C),
Several Asiatic cockfighting breeds (who looks like the Asyl/Aseel and Kulang ones)
And some Naked Neck breeds (who looks like the Transylania Naked Neck breed for example)
    - Ducks : Barbary duck (domestic form of the Muscovy duck), Mandarin Duck, Muscovy Duck (the later two are wild species but keep under captivity by Asian and South American people as popular pet)
    - Geese : Chinese Goose/African Goose, Roman Goose, Meidoum Goose (wild but extinct unnamed species only known from a famous pictural frieze, close to the Red-breasted goose branta ruficollis)
    - Pheasants : Colchid/Common Pheasant (ok wild animal species, but introduced in Europe during the Antiquity era by Romans)
Hope that will give you in many ways !

15/10 so many good bois and gorls!! I don't care if I'm allergic to dogs (and cats - yes, I'm cursed) I would absolutely hug a Whale Hound if given the chance. :D Sure, I'm only like 100 lbs sopping wet and wearing heavy winter gear, but if I get taken down by something that fluffy it is absolutely how I was meant to go.
Question: Hypo-allergenic medicine dogs? Or does hereditary magic sorta take care of that? On the one hand I could see magic being like, "Oh crap, no, we like breathing, stop whatever's going on there," but on the other hand I could also see it following whatever quirk of evolution gave us allergies to begin with and being like, "Meh. We'll live. It's fine."

But during the North Eurpore harvest during the Pleistocene, that was this specie of wolf that was present at this time ?
What was the Mossbach Wolf ?
Since wolves are social pack animal, their domestication into dogs by our ancestors on earth was pretty easy (cubs imprint on humans and wolfs accept as leader any kind of leader whatever his specie).
So why wolves parallel domestication was hard on Kaimere ?
It's because the environemental presure was so hard that wolves become so aggressive toward any kind of life, even kaimerans ?

However, on Kaimere, like the Big cats, due to the presence of numerous theropodes dinosaurs predators, they aren't top apex predators.

It’s interesting that Kaimereans hold dogs in such high regards but also breed them for meat. Does it have to do with cultural differences like on earth, or do all cultures consume some dog meat?
The medicine dog kind of reminds me of my old girl. We rescued her when she was already pretty old but we had her for around 10 years. She pulled several all nighters with me and even “saved” me once by waking my mom up when I was choking. I don’t remember the experience because I was probably asleep or too sick to be fully conscious but every time my mom tells me the story it makes me really happy.

Well, many cultures on earth, whatevers in the past or even always today currently, are know to incorporate dogs on their menu/alimentation.
The most famous currently being the Chinoises and many others asiatic societies (as well as cats and rats).
It's true that can be a little disturbing to see people eating dogs, in good part because us, occidental people, don't do that in our quotidian life.
But dogs remains first animals among others, and food is food, whatevers she is.
Afterall, prehistoric people in Europe also eat tamed wolf/proto-dogs when the occasion happen.
Most of the domestic animals that weres domesticated overtime were keep under captivity by humans for food uses (chicken, goar, sheep, cattle, pigs, rabbit, turkeys etc...).
Even in occidental and western regions, horse is an animal commonly eaten, with horses soecially breed and rise for meat.
This use of the horse is lesser known than all the others more know uses that came to our mind first when it come to this animal.
So, yes, on Kaimere, kaimeran eat dog on occasion. And like the recent there some week "food episode" already show us, Kaimeran are not too difficult when it's come to eat.
They take any food resources, whatever she is, whatever the speciesr.
An animal, whatever he is, will always remain a food ressource.
      And food is food !

Random Question : the following questions are just questions about some precisions about homosexuality and queer/LGBT stuff in general on Kaimere, that I think they need more precision.
(And yes, it's a bit long, so sorry by advance about that).
1 - About Rolanix and Yutani relationship case... It's good to know, and for them, that they can live their love story without any real problem since the two are destined to remain in the same tribe.
However, A) if Yutani is reconized as a woman, her biological body remain the one of a man (I think, when you stated she was transexual, it's like transexuals on earth who have their body who gender swap after an operation ? Because I don't think Kaimeran have the technological level to do this. No?)
    B) So, if Rolanix is attracted netherless by Yutani, since we are always attracted physicaly, that mean he's Homosexual ?! Right ?
    C) But if Yutani is a woman but Rolanix a Homosexual, their couple is why ? A hetero couple (like between a normal man and woman) or a homosexual ?
Will have been honest and agree, their specific case of them is .... complex.
2 - It’s possible for Kaimeran to truly genderswap (and being transexual at all the all meanings of the term, especially the first that come to mind) ?
3 - If they can, since Kaimeran or any humanoid species on Kaimere are less technologically advance than us on Earth to allow the existence of medical operation people do on earth to change sex, how they do them ? Do they use magic ?
4 - Have you plan to do a video about homosexuality in animals
5 - If a good part of the high tolerance/acceptance of the no-LGBT Kaimeran toward LGBT ones is due to a, more or less, sort of “deal” between them (with Kaimeran accepted homosexuals or transsexuals without problems at the moment these later produce at least some offspring if they can. It’s literally what we have here), can we explain this also by the fact that, in part, on Kaimere, most of Kaimeran religions and believes are not at all similar to any of the ones of earth too ?
Because on earth, most, if even all, of the religions outside the one of the Paleolithic eras claim and have in similarity that the entities know as gods created the world and humans and these religions and the religion’s people or no-religion’s people, even if anything like lines or sentences is directly said specifically on LGBT (who even are not mentioned at all in fact), are against these latter because of two things :
One, because the Gods created the man and the woman to be togethers and procreate, and it’s all, and there any others purpose or compromise because of that. And we must also accept the
And Two, because it’s disturbing to see two persons of the same sex to “do the thing” (which, let be agree it’s understandable, because it’s almost instinctive in us, since most of the people around us are heterosexual and most of us aren’t accustomed to see homosexual).
HOWEVER ! On Kaimere, most religions and believes evolved independently (except the ones from human brought on Kaimere during Mercantil Era), and Kaimeran mostly have more or less like god(dess) Mother Nature and their believes being composed mostly by good or bad spirits who incarnates more of the time the nature’s elements and/or the animals. In many ways, their overall religions and believes are closer/similar to the ones of the numerous Paleolithic archaic prehistoric humans believes, the Animism, the Druidism or even the Paganism/Pagans in a certain way, on earth. These ones praising the laws of nature and the respect of this latter.
Since the laws the kaimerans mostly believed, respect and do follow the exact same and reals laws than the Mother Nature laws in real life (like the evolution, the seasons circles, natural selection, etc.), which aren’t against LGBT if the conditions allowed it, this is also why in good part Kaimeran accept LGBT too ? I think that also explain why a good part of kaimeran populations are matriarchal too ? Right ?
6 - Have I just give good similarities about the religions of Kaimere compared to the ones of earth ?
7 - I noticed since a long time that men keep their hairs (very) long, like women. And that short haired people are very, very rare on Kaimere. Have kaimeran give (high) importance to hairs ? What beliefs or symbolics they give to hairs, to respect them to the point to leave them quiet ? Like, they recognize that hairs are a strong part of them, and that hairs symbolize how each people are inside in addition to show their personalities (if they have problems/issues or crazy with spiky hair, or clam and mature with long, smooth and healthy hairs) ? Hairs are considered as sacred because of these reasons.
8 - Is cutting your hair (extremely) taboo ? Because that no longer allows you to quickly see and analyze the personality of the targeted person in question ? That is considered to be like if the person denied his identity, his personality, his legacy, his family, his culture and traditions ?
10 - And even more taboo if it’s done for anything, for absolutely nothing, for no (relevant) reasons ?
11 - Not a question, but just so you know that I made and put a (huge I agree, in fact, literally a “thesis”) commentary specially intended to you Keenan Taylor. About the LGBT subject in modern medias, how he is commonly used and depicted, his great weaknesses and how it could be handled better. And I think what I made like “overall analyze” of the subject is relevant and can benefit other people who follow your channel.
My commentary is easily findable (he’s on the top of the commentary list, the first line said directly that is intended for you, and it’s the only commentary to have at least around eight answers/responses under him).
You should read/check it, at least. He worth it !😄

random Question : How Kaimerans handle feral and wandering/whithout owner dogs population ?
Because wandering dogs who run freely and wildly in the street, inside twon and village or in the wild near these latter must be a problem in a way.
(on earth, wandering dogs pack can destroy cars, attack livestock or attack humans, among the most proeminent problem they can give).

In your video you mentioned creatures like hyenas and sea badgers have been tamed by some kaimerians. What other creatures have been tamed but not domesticated?

    • @dudotolivier6363
      @dudotolivier6363 2 года назад

A very, very good part of Kaimere wildlife can be tamed. There example for almost all species, some more common or rarer than the others following the traits of the targeted creature in question.
Here, wolves/dogs were tamed like on Earth. From wolves, domesticated in parallel of earth wolves by earth human.
However, before the arrivals of earth dogs breeds from the New and Old world during the Mercantil era, the breeds number of dogs were low (with the Khalin dog the most notable).
It's only during the Mercantil era and the interbreeding process of Kaimeres dogs with Earth's dogs that the breeds number explode.
On Kaimere, many earth's dogs categories and types/kind were brought to the planet, such the Greyhounds.

I think these because of the fact that they need good sense of smell because they pass a lot of time in water. So it's betters for them to get a good sense of smell

    1. What's the biggest type of sloth or parksosaur that sloth hounds can reliably kill?
    2. What animal threats do the whale hounds fight?
    3. Are there any Maku or Tlaton dogs?
    4. Not related to dogs, but what's the weirdest or most impressive animal anyone has tamed in Kaimere? (Excluding lions)
    5. wat nxet

    • @TalesofKaimere
      @TalesofKaimere 2 года назад

      1. A lone sloth hound isn’t able to reliably kill a sloth larger than maybe half a ton, but they will attack larger sloths to mob/intimidate
      2. Whale hounds will readily fight walruses (two predatory species in the known world) banshee gulls, wolves, and water panthers (a Hyaenodont) but they aren’t going to try anything too much bigger than themselves.
      3. The Tlaton and Maku do not have dogs, although do have their own domesticated animals.
Uktan and zentaur have been tamed, but this usually ends in tragedy as the zentaur in particular will see their person as distinct from other people, associate humans with food, and well… you can imagine what that ends up as.
