Well Rin was used to getting everything she wanted. When she wanted to marry the prince of blue she thought it would happen. She didn't know how to cope with rejection, so she thought war was the best answer. In regret message she released that she was spoilt and her only wish was to be reunited with the person who she knew would always love her, her brother. From that point she repented her sins and then learnt to work hard, so she left her spoilt ways behind her.
I find it fitting that Haku was supposed to be this 'failed version of Miku' and in this story Haku is portrayed as an outcast while Miku was the beautiful and great one.
I can’t get over how in the light novel at one point Miku says “I’m not interested in men” meaning she was too focused on her mission iirc (but leaving out the context) and Haku just stays silent for a moment and says “me neither” 💀

Just a thought, the Daughter of White is the one known side character in the whole Story of Evil or even the Evillious Chronicles that has a virtue - Patience, then again I think Clarith has a bit of all of the Heavenly Virtues with her so the demon Ira could not even posses her except at the moment of extreme anger.
clarith is honestly such an amazingly strong character. time and time again she makes the choice to pursue kindness, because she was also once given kindness. - after the green hunt: instead of accepting germaine's invitation into the rebellion, she chooses to recover and heal (spiritually) in a church i.e. where she can help ppl - chose not to kill rillianne (with some help from allen) - continued to help spread kindness by establishing her own monastery to actively fight against the same discrimination she once experienced in the evillious chronicles, she's probably the only character that continuously chooses to help people and spread kindness for the sake of kindness. she learned compassion from michaela and decides again and again to share it with others, even when it may be difficult. even allen has more personal goals. i love her a lot ok
Reading a translation of the book. Elluka, the purple headed court sorceror of the Lucifenia, was the one who gave Michaela a human form. She did the same with her apprentice, Gumillia, who was a friend of Michaela. Gumillia saved a sapling that was the reincarnated form of Michaela and gave it to Clarith. So they got to be together again.
With a lot of these vocaloid songs there is a greater story being told within them, books, plays and so on. As a westerner one usually have to read a wiki to understand things properly.
the story is actually very simple. it's right in the lyrics, but i still think i'll explain what i think it is: ~STORY~ The Daughter of White was the only girl with white hair in the Green Kingdom, so she was all alone. Until the day she met the Daughter of Green, who had the most beautiful green hair in the entire kingdom. The Daughter of White had once rescued her when she was unconscious in the snow, and because the Daughter of Green had comforted her for the first time in her life, they eventually became close friends. The two of them traveled to a distant kingdom, where the Daughter of White wasn't teased for her white hair. The two found a job as maids for a mansion. There, the Son of Blue (or something) met and fell in love with the Daughter of Green. He rejected the Daughter of Yellow/Daughter of Evil's proposal, and because of this, she became enraged. She ordered for all maidens who had green hair to be killed. The Daughter of Green was killed, but the Daughter of White survived because of her hair. Once again, she was alone in the world (because of her hair, again). She began living alone in a small cabin near a chapel, where she, once again, rescued a maiden who was unconscious in the snow. One night, she heard the girl confess in a confession booth... that she was the Daughter of Evil. Enraged, the Daughter of White takes a knife, aiming at the Daughter of Evil's back, and prepared to strike. But in the end, she couldn't. She saw herself in the girl. Like her, she was alone in the whole world, with no one. One day, on the beach near the chapel, she saw an illusion (7:58). She didn't know who it was, but it was there for only a split second, and gone the next. ~COMMENT~ I actually think that the "illusion" was the ghost of the Servant of Evil (Len) since he was dead. He might've just gone to check on her or something??? Well, anyways, it was nice to see what happened after he was executed. It gave an epilogue. ^_^

This is for the peeps who didn't understood the story :v Haku was the only girl different from her village (pretty obvious). She was an outcast who had white hair while everyone had green (sounds racist) which made everyone hate her. She got a friend which is Miku the most beautiful green haired girl in the village, they've been bestfriends and moved out of the village and blah blah blah.Kaito fell in love with miku miku, Rin-chan is mad so Rin-chan ordered to kill every green haired girl because Mariam discovered that Kaito loves a green haired girl. Every green haired girl was killed including miku miku. Haku met Rin and they became bestfriends but one day Haku heard Rin's confession about killing the green haired girls and also Len , Haku tried to kill Rin but failed, and then Len showed up as you can see what Haku said "I saw an Illusion I wonder who that boy was" which means Len is still protecting Rin even if he's dead.
This isn't the actual story, as this song is part of a series of songs in the Evilious Chronicles, which has a much richer story and is told through songs, light novels, and manga. I'd go more into detail, but even I am just beginning to grasp the finer details and I don't want to spread misinformation.

I think Allen didn't "change" Clarith's mind. Clarith saw Rilliane crying, and realised Rilliane looked a lot like Clarith did in the past. So, she decided not to kill her, for revenge. After that, I think she saw Allen, watching over Rilliane. "If we are reborn, I hope in my next life..."
Okay, I know that this is an old video, but imagine how confused Clarith (Haku) would have been. Like, your true love is dead. She was the only one who truly cared about and loved you. You find and unwittingly befriend the person who had her killed. This girl is very young, so it comes as a surprise when she turns out to be the indirect murderer of your love. You go to exact your revenge by killing her, only to find that she too is missing the person who she loved more than anything. And then he just up and appears right in front of you and you have no clue who this boy is, but he’s there, like “Do not hurt her”. I’d be sooooooo utterly confused.
The endings like a cycle, Haku in the beginning was alone until she met miku and towards the end Riliane was at the beach and was alone until Haku came, kind of like Haku herself.

Though she had heard that the queen was dead a yellow haired girl confessed she was the queen. The white haired woman was enraged and tried to kill the former queen. She failed though because the white haired woman saw herself in the queen. They were both alone and didn't know what to do. The white haired woman decided to talk to the queen because she pitied her and they grew closer, becoming friends. The white haired girl taught her how to cook and do other things when they were friends. Is this correct? Because I have a feeling the last part isn't quite true... (Oh, also, I'm sorry if the whole white haired and green haired girl thing bothered you but I'm not sure if their names in this are Haku and Miku.)
Yea I watched it a year or two earlier than that, and I'm surprised at how well it still stands. The art is still beautiful, the singing well tuned, and (most importantly) it still makes you feel the same emotions
I swear this hurts because I can relate to the white-haired girl. I've often felt my existence was meaningless, like I was inferior to everyone else. I still sometimes feel this way. I know it's irrational and a bit selfish, since I have two loving parents who would probably be really sad if I died, but I can't help the way I feel. Anyway, I can relate to Haku, and this is probably one of if not my top favorite Story of Evil songs. It's really underrated.

i like this a lot because it isn't about the main couple or the main villain. it's about the friend that's always there and how they met the more "important" characters and how they feel through the whole ordeal and gives you a glimpse of what happens after the whole story
This song doesn't make me feel particularly emotional, but 7:34 - 7:42 really just strikes my heart for some reason. The tune, the rhythm, the words, particularly the line "I wonder who that boy was?" It just feels mysterious, but conclusive at the same time. I love it; it's a perfect ending.
Damn this song really hit home. Being driven to that level of desperation by "normal" people for being different and not being able to do anything about it despite being kindhearted. Her being lesbian and getting her prayers answered by a forest spirit who then gets murdered. Given the ability to get revenge but not able to do it. Then one listens to the other songs, piece them together. Try to make sense out of them, read the original story script, find a translation of the first novel and read it all... It just gets more and more tragic, I want to hug Clarith and try to support her. Also, I want the novels translated and exported to Europe, I want them.

the story is actually very simple. it's right in the lyrics, but i still think i'll explain what i think it is:
~STORY~
The Daughter of White was the only girl with white hair in the Green Kingdom, so she was all alone. Until the day she met the Daughter of Green, who had the most beautiful green hair in the entire kingdom. The Daughter of White had once rescued her when she was unconscious in the snow, and because the Daughter of Green had comforted her for the first time in her life, they eventually became close friends.
The two of them traveled to a distant kingdom, where the Daughter of White wasn't teased for her white hair. The two found a job as maids for a mansion. There, the Son of Blue (or something) met and fell in love with the Daughter of Green. He rejected the Daughter of Yellow/Daughter of Evil's proposal, and because of this, she became enraged. She ordered for all maidens who had green hair to be killed.
The Daughter of Green was killed, but the Daughter of White survived because of her hair. Once again, she was alone in the world (because of her hair, again). She began living alone in a small cabin near a chapel, where she, once again, rescued a maiden who was unconscious in the snow. One night, she heard the girl confess in a confession booth... that she was the Daughter of Evil. Enraged, the Daughter of White takes a knife, aiming at the Daughter of Evil's back, and prepared to strike. But in the end, she couldn't. She saw herself in the girl. Like her, she was alone in the whole world, with no one.
One day, on the beach near the chapel, she saw an illusion (7:58). She didn't know who it was, but it was there for only a split second, and gone the next.
~COMMENT~
I actually think that the "illusion" was the ghost of the Servant of Evil (Len) since he was dead. He might've just gone to check on her or something??? Well, anyways, it was nice to see what happened after he was executed. It gave an epilogue. ^_^

Haku was the only girl different from her village (pretty obvious). She was an outcast who had white hair while everyone had green (sounds racist) which made everyone hate her. She got a friend which is Miku the most beautiful green haired girl in the village, they've been bestfriends and moved out of the village and blah blah blah.Kaito fell in love with miku miku, Rin-chan is mad so Rin-chan ordered to kill every green haired girl because Mariam discovered that Kaito loves a green haired girl. Every green haired girl was killed including miku miku. Haku met Rin and they became bestfriends but one day Haku heard Rin's confession about killing the green haired girls and also Len , Haku tried to kill Rin but failed, and then Len showed up as you can see what Haku said "I saw an Illusion I wonder who that boy was" which means Len is still protecting Rin even if he's dead.
This isn't the actual story, as this song is part of a series of songs in the Evilious Chronicles, which has a much richer story and is told through songs, light novels, and manga. I'd go more into detail, but even I am just beginning to grasp the finer details and I don't want to spread misinformation.

Like, your true love is dead. She was the only one who truly cared about and loved you. You find and unwittingly befriend the person who had her killed. This girl is very young, so it comes as a surprise when she turns out to be the indirect murderer of your love. You go to exact your revenge by killing her, only to find that she too is missing the person who she loved more than anything. And then he just up and appears right in front of you and you have no clue who this boy is, but he’s there, like “Do not hurt her”.

Edit: Yes, his name is Alexiel. He was supposed to be killed when he was a child, but he escaped. He later became a servant for Riliane so they could be reunited. As Alexiel was presumed dead, he had to change his name so the kingdom wouldn't kill him. No-one suspected a thing. Then, during the revolution, Alexiel revealed himself as Alexiel Avadonia to Riliane, who was shocked and in tears at her brother's sudden appearance. And the rest... yeah, I'm pretty sure you know what happens next

This song makes me cry every time I see it. I was always alone and depressed. One day I met this girl who shared the same interests as me and we both became best friends. She'd always come to my house and make me smile. But after one year, she died. Many people close to me died after a while. My grandmother, two other friends..
So how I'm seeing this is, (Please forgive me if I'm wrong,) There was a lonely girl, the only girl in the village with white hair. She was considered a disgrace in the town of green, since her hair was white. But, because she saved the green haired girl they became close friends. They later moved to a different town where the white haired girl wouldn't be made fun of and they worked at a mansion for a wealthy woman. A blue haired man visited the mansion and met the green haired girl, falling deeply in love with her. The man loved the girl so much he refused a marriage proposal from the yellow queen. The queen was devastated and ordered all green haired women to be murdered. The white haired girl was once again alone. Though she had heard that the queen was dead a yellow haired girl confessed she was the queen. The white haired woman was enraged and tried to kill the former queen. She failed though because the white haired woman saw herself in the queen. They were both alone and didn't know what to do. The white haired woman decided to talk to the queen because she pitied her and they grew closer, becoming friends. The white haired girl taught her how to cook and do other things when they were friends. Is this correct? Because I have a feeling the last part isn't quite true...

Yea I watched it a year or two earlier than that, and I'm surprised at how well it still stands. The art is still beautiful, the singing well tuned, and (most importantly) it still makes you feel the same emotions

I swear this hurts because I can relate to the white-haired girl. I've often felt my existence was meaningless, like I was inferior to everyone else. I still sometimes feel this way. I know it's irrational and a bit selfish, since I have two loving parents who would probably be really sad if I died, but I can't help the way I feel. Anyway, I can relate to Haku, and this is probably one of if not my top favorite Story of Evil songs. It's really underrated.

i like this a lot because it isn't about the main couple or the main villain. it's about the friend that's always there and how they met the more "important" characters and how they feel through the whole ordeal and gives you a glimpse of what happens after the whole story
This song doesn't make me feel particularly emotional, but 7:34 - 7:42 really just strikes my heart for some reason. The tune, the rhythm, the words, particularly the line "I wonder who that boy was?" It just feels mysterious, but conclusive at the same time. I love it; it's a perfect ending.

Damn this song really hit home. Being driven to that level of desperation by "normal" people for being different and not being able to do anything about it despite being kindhearted. Her being lesbian and getting her prayers answered by a forest spirit who then gets murdered. Given the ability to get revenge but not able to do it.
Then one listens to the other songs, piece them together. Try to make sense out of them, read the original story script, find a translation of the first novel and read it all... It just gets more and more tragic, I want to hug Clarith and try to support her. Also, I want the novels translated and exported to Europe, I want them.
