I think most of us can understand your position. I really love your videos, short and long alike (although I enjoy your long ones even more 😉 lol). I can hope to see you every week but I am happy to see you whenever you are able as you are "gifting" us part of your life. Thank you for sharing with us all!

I am so glad that you are taking care of you. We love your videos weekly but only if you are loving doing them. Personally I couldn’t imagine coming home Friday after the work week and having to be “on” so kuddos to you for taking care of you! God Bless!💐

Annie, please don’t be offended by the thumbs down. There’s always those that don’t realize that you creating a floss tube for us is a privilege. Me personally, I’ll take any time you have for us. Thank you always putting a smile on my face as well as a stitching shopping list for “I want that”. Love you. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

You are such a joy to watch Annie! Less videos are fine. Sometimes the people I watch make too many and I can't keep up. I so enjoy visiting with you through Floss tube and you need to do you. You are such an inspiration to many the thumbs down people cannot possibly be any of your loyal followers.

I don’t comment a lot on these videos but I watch many. Never feel guilty for self-care and family care. Along with god, these are the most important. You have brought much, much joy to me and to the entire cross stitch community. Even a monthly floss tube would be such a gift…just to hear how you’re doing!!! Take good care of you!!!!!!!

You crack me up with your little songs😁 I love it. The kids that have you as a teacher are blessed for sure. You have to take care of you too,so you can keep being a fantastic mom,and teacher. You did become a Friday night routine for me, but it would still be great if you came around maybe every other Friday,or once a month...possibly?! Will miss the hugs though! Love hearing about Joy Filled Little One,and life updates... maybe you can do a more simple flosstube. Like just talk, and show what you have stitched. If its nothing, thats ok. I would be happy just to see you!! Get rest when you can and give yourself a big hug from me😊🌻🍎

You are under no obligation to provide us videos every week - do we love them, yes! Do we love you, yes! But you are right to take care of you and your family first. My husband is a high school teacher and he is having to adjust back too and it is exhausting! He has over 30 kids in person in some of his classes. I agree sometimes all I can stitch is blocks of color so thankfully there is a variety of stitching and projects to choose from. You've made so much progress on your projects! I thought I knew what you meant by doing carpool each day, but then last week I took my Kindergartener through the carpool at his Christian school and my mind was blown! The coordination and people helping keep us moving and the kiddos safe was incredible! I'm so thankful for all the carpool workers! We park to pick up after school though.... Rest this weekend, love on your precious daughter, and don't worry about us!

I was a teacher so I know the time and energy it takes. I would rather have you film less often, but from a rested, energized, and excited to share place than not at all because of burn out, or weekly even though you are super tired, out of fear of upsetting your viewers. It is OK to be 100% honest about what works for you. Those who don't like it will fall away and your true flosstube friends will remain. I will always carry your songs in my heart, thank you for all you have given. Hugs, Valerie

Can I just say how angry it made me that people gave you a thumbs down for taking time for yourself last week? And also that you feel like you have to apologize for choosing to run your Flosstube channel in the way that best fits your life? That’s craziness! This is YOUR channel and any video and time you choose to share with us is a blessing. The start of any school year is hard for a teacher and a mama, much less when you’re starting a new position. Take the time to care for yourself and your family; those of us who have come to get to know you and care about you over the years will still be here when you feel like you have time to share with us.

I enjoy your videos and what’s important is that you do too! I say do whatever feels right to you. And, the thumbs down could just be random non stitchy trolls just being annoying. So glad that you love your new position. Hang in there. ❤️ and now I’m singing, log out, log out of my account. 😂

As a parent of a language Art Middle school teacher and a Middle School Administrator both of who also have children I get it!!! Be kind to yourself, rest and time to do nothing is important to recharge. Educators is not a job, it’s a calling your entire heart and soul is poured into these kiddos. Maybe a every two week schedule would give you the time you need to enjoy your stitching time and share with others. Don’t lose your joy

It's always good to see you BUT you do you. If you only feel you can manage twice a month or even once a month, then you do that. Teaching is really tiring. My Mum was a primary school teacher for many years and like you, she loved teaching but it is exhausting so I, for one, totally understand. Great finishes and WIPs.

You may not see this, as far behind as I am in flosstube, but I totally understand about back to school! I home school my three little boys K4, Kindergarten, and Grade 3 and wow, this year is a lot. I have noticed a huge jump in the amount of work my 3rd grader has and I have to teach😬. By the time we wrap up for the day, about 2 usually, it’s all I can do to get dinner and a load of laundry done. We don’t have homework per se since it’s all “home” work😁, but there’s still plenty to do. I have a feeling there’s not going to be much stitching until Christmas!

Wow! So many things I could relate to in this video!! First off..I was the computer teacher for K-2 for 6 years, I made up so many “computer “ related songs …I also did the carpool duty before and after school which left no time for planning…also…my middle name is Lucia! I have never heard of Saint Lucia so I’ll have to look up and my sister went to Baylor and now her daughter does…hope that you get adjusted to your new position and can find a balance..teaching is hard!!!!

I would give you 3 thumbs up to make up for those other ones, I am sure it was just because we enjoy you so much. I would never be a good child teacher it is not my gift, I found at times it was hard to teach adults. Thank you for the lovely video and don't worry I am just greatful for when you have time. Remember it is your real life that matters and enjoying your child and husband. My mom was born September 11,and was living with a grandson that worked in New York so I agree with you about how some people never get on with life on that day.

You always get a double thumbs up from me!! 🥰
Please tell Joy Filled Little One not to worry about her spelling abilities. I finished my PhD prior to the days of spell check and as one of the gifts I was given a dictionary for non-spellers. To which I replied if I knew how to spell the word to look it up and see how to spell it!!
Please take care of yourself 🥰

Another great video. Totally understand if you have to cut back from a weekly video schedule. You must take care of yourself and family first in order to enjoy podcasting. On the thumbs down from last week, I would like to think it was their way of saying they were sad it was not a normal podcast, because we do look forward to our time with you. Look forward to the next video, whenever it is provided.

Annie, I think you need to take care of yourself first, then if/when you have time to share with us great! Creating a video for us to watch is far more time consuming than the time you spend in front of the camera. Although I'll miss my time with you each week, this is supposed to be fun. You need to get as much or more out of the videos as we get from you. That's my tiny penny opinion. Thanks for the joy you bring to me. Judy

I totally get teaching with a mask on, harder on breathing when you are trying to be clear and at a level all can hear. Have you considered a wireless mike system? Something that clips to your top that would help ease the strain. You need to take time for you and your family, I always love what you share, but understand your obligations 💞😊

It was fine and don’t let the three thumbs down bother you if you don’t take time for yourself then we won’t have future videos because you’re burning out you’ll get sick and things will happen I love you

It's so important that you know your limits and do what is best for you and your family.
Please try not to think too much about the thumbs down. You can tell you've become successful on youtube when you start getting the dislikes. It is entirely possible that they hit the thumbs down "for" you because you were too tired to stitch. We've all been there. Some days it just isn't easy to stitch.
Trying new things is good. Right now, with your life and job being so busy, it makes perfect sense for you to scale back to every other week. Don't worry about not having enough haul to share. It's better for my wallet. ;) We come to your channel to see you and what you are doing. If you have changed it up and are becoming monogamous until you finish in your stitching, GREAT, we want to see it. If you change again and have a month where you stitch all the things, GREAT, we want to see it. If your videos are short and sweet because you don't have ton of time to stitch (or buy) anything, GREAT, we want to see you. If you change the day of the week because you are exhausted by Friday, COOL, most of us are tired at the end of the week too. If you film on a Wednesday or Saturday or anyday and post it on a different day, GREAT, we will adjust to what you are doing.
If you decide to quit altogether, we (I) will be sad. I will understand because I had to do that with my own channel several years ago when my creativity was just gone. I will say though, that it is harder to come back than it is to scale back. Once you stop it is hard to restart.
However, I go back to my first statement. You do what is best for you. Stitching brings you joy & recharges you. You never want it to turn into something that drains you. If it does then it is a job and you deserve to be paid. On that note, with all the extra duties, classes, and students you are taking on this year it is understandable if you need to let some thing(s) go. Would it be possible to give up carpool? That would be exhausting to me. So would wearing a mask. I work from home and don't go out much since Covid started. Everytime I have to go grocery shopping or be in public with a mask I end up coming home and taking a nap. Trying to walk, talk, and breathe with a mask on is so hard for me. It makes me dizzy and often starts an asthma attack. I'm super impressed you can function at all trying to teach in a classroom with a mask on. Your school is incredibly blessed to have you working for them.

Hoping you will not quit all together. Maybe don't make videos every week. I have really enjoyed your videos. But in the end you need to do what is best for you and your family. Slot of my flosstube people have stopped doing videos every week. We will be here when you post a video. Wishing you good stitching and a fun week ahead.

Wow Annie I'm exhausted just listening to all the hats you wear in your days and weeks. Thank you for investing and loving our children. I worked 14 years in our district with Sp. Need students so I understand... Please DO be pro active on your self care. I love your channel and love seeing all your stitching but would rather see you every two weeks than have you burn out and not enjoy your stitching and sharing. Wow Im impressed with all your finishes considering your crazy schedule. Congrats! Look forward to seeing you again soon.
