Man, WIC has come a long way. I remember when my children were little, there was no card. It was a paper voucher and you had to divide your groceries out into small groups based on each voucher. I hated using those paper vouchers, because it held up the line so much and other customers would get mad...everyone could see what you were using to pay for your groceries lol. There was no fresh fruit or bread either. Just milk, juice, eggs, cheese, cereal, and baby formula. It's definitely came a long way!!
