You’re a talented interviewer, great channel. Thank you 😊
I’ve just gotta offer up a counterpoint to what NDT is saying as truth here.
There is substantial evidence of the existence of all three subjects you brought up here and I’ll gladly send them your way if you wish.
feel free to hit me up at angusmclaren1170@gmail.com
Much of this evidence is actively being suppressed or ridiculed so looking it up on the vanilla internet ain’t gonna bare much fruit.

They say when you turn someone who is Christian away from Christianity you are among the most evil people on the planet. I would be real careful trying to use intelligence to prove that God is not there because someday when the fire start burning your ass you will realize exactly how wrong how utterly wrong you were. He is so full of sh*t. His arguments in cosmology require much more faith than most religions but can be explained just by letting light slow down over time. His probability stuff is literally scientists talking out of their ass. They make an assumption and then use that assumption to come up a number. As for aliens radar tracking and visual sightings is not evidence. Because he wants the body. His science is that can't be true because my ego says no.

There are also many scientific theories that have since been actually proven wrong. The geocentric theory of the universe being one of them. Science was wrong. Dead wrong. There are many of these and we need to be open to the fact that we are currently living through failed theories. To do this science or better yet current scientists must be will to entertain critique and even criticism as this is what science also is, the willingness to accept that you are wrong. Dogmas are situ situations where a community accepts a truth and holds onto it even when new information challenges it. Medicine in the western world is now being shown to be inadequate but pundits are holding on for dear life. That is what we are talking about.

You have used all the mathematics known to man you only lack the knowledge of formulating a mathematical equation expressing what you did in your head on paper. You saw the position of the car, judged the distance of the car from your position, its rate of travel, its arrival at your position, if its speed is constant - your position to the car, your constant rate of travel, the distance and rate of travel you need to assume to cross the street safely. RADIATION is like a doughnut surrounding earth 3 times outward according to research and understanding of it. 3 nuclear plants on Earth have failed and people died as a result of these failures. What's out there, and what Mankind has created are different levels of lethalness if you will. Meaning what's out there, is more powerful than what's in here. So we recover from it. If it wasn't lethal, MANKIND would be on MARS right now. The Moon. And any other planet that we can reach and land on. WE WOULD BE ALL OVER THE PLACE. So I wonder who exactly is responsible for it being there if it's not a natural barrier. So.. Is it a cage we cannot leave. Or is it a barrier we need to overcome. I took out my brand new smartphone (which I had just gotten the day before) and started to record video. It was perfect, clear video, taken from no more than 25 feet away. The eerie sounds at the end were unlike anything I had ever heard before.
I should have snuck away then, but I stood there filming, mesmerized by what I had just witnessed... and that’s when one of them (I’m pretty sure it was the male) noticed me.
I stood there, frozen in terror, as he stormed directly towards me. I was certain that I was about to die... but he stopped right there in front of me, snatched my smartphone from my hand, and slammed it against one of the stones so hard that it shattered into little bits (I’m pretty sure the stone shifted slightly as well)... and then the two of them walked off hurriedly.
As I stood there, trying to process all that had just happened... god appeared, scooped the pile of poop into a plastic bag, removed my right shoe and dropped it into the bag... and told me that I should have respected the privacy of the mating couple.
With that, he boarded a spacecraft and left...
And there I was... confused... with no evidence that any of it had ever happened, and no right shoe 🤷‍♂️

    • @SuperMario-pn1se
      @SuperMario-pn1se Год назад +2

@Scaggs I think that time IS a spatial dimension. To get to a specific moment you need a place and a time. If you look at it like a map, the place is the 3 dimensions we know of (we actually exist in more dimensions that we can’t comprehend) and the time is the last thing you need to get to that specific moment. It’s a location in a 4th dimensional space that we perceive as time, but time is an illusion my friend. It’s our brain’s way of making sense of the reality we live in, it’s been adapted to survive on this Earth we grew up on, but not equipped with all the senses to perceive all of the wicked ways our reality works. That’s why mathematics has revealed to us things that we haven’t observed yet in the universe but we can still call as truths. We’ve been able to prove other scientific theories right through math on so many occasions already. We just have to find a different way to measure it. We live in a weird weird reality….

The priest was overwhelmed by everything the dying race had left behind, so he calculated exactly when the supernova had occurred and realized it had been the Star of Bethlehem. Its funny nd of course very interesting watching nd listening to him explainin how everything in the Universe is deadly like yeah that much is obvious but what i guess the host meant is the how everything in the universe follow a certain principle sure it can be chaotic where certain things that happen out there defy our current understanding of physics but mostly everything else is following its laws of nature if its not doing something crazy from time to time, Tyson is too smart for his own good or maybes were too uneducated for ours lol either way id wish he’d kinda gon to our level nd break it down from there i really felt the question went over his head.

@@Dro1540G Degrasse must have forgotten the great pioneers of science were devout Christians; Men became scientific because they expected law in nature and they expected law in nature because they believed in a Legislator.
C.A Russell: "The common belief that . . .the actual relations between religion and science over the last few centuries have been marked by deep and enduring hostility ... is not only historically inaccurate but actually a caricature so grotesque that what needs to be explained is how it could possibly have achieved any degree of respectability."
It is wrong to suggest that science is the only way to truth. That is called "scientism", and is widespread today, if accepted, would wipe out half the faculties of our universities, history, literature, languages, art, music... These disciplines require the use of reason. Reason has a far larger scope than science. Einstein once said that scientists make poor philosophers.
      British Astronomer Baron Rees,
"I know Stephen Hawking well enough to know that he has read little philosophy and less theology, so I don't think his views should be taken with any special weight in regards to God."

Sir Isaac Newton honored the creative activity of God in every law of physics he discovered.

The quantum of "Proof" under our legal system depends on whether the case is under civil law or criminal law. In civil law, the quantum of proof necessary is usually the "preponderance" of evidence meaning the greater probability or likelyhoon of the evidence. In criminal law, the quantum of proof is more demanding. The requirement of proof is the "beyond reasonable doubt" standard. In science, 100 percent certainty is necessary to "prove" a theory is real.

I’ve been on sort of a kick watching as many Dr. Tyson videos as I can lately just because the man is so entertaining and enjoyable to listen to.
You certainly do start to identify some themes in his philosophy, but what I think you have to appreciate is that like most great thinkers, he has a very unique way of looking at things that most people generally tend not to think of.
Akin to the wood carver who sees the shape of the object he wants to carve in the medium that he’s carving in, Dr. Tyson has a specific philosophy as to how he approaches the universe, and he’s consistent across it

What concerns me most about this and interviews alike, is that even if some questions obviously are or even have to be posed with a provocative agenda, regardless the vocation and worldview of the questioner, there are quite a few listeners ready to take the approach to these questions through their biased conviction and finding it as valid a reason as any scientific aspiration and will be using their belief in some conceived god/alien/cryptid as a chaperone to justify ending their rational thought process and being content with their decision thereof, ie. rather having some appealing answer than having none at all.
