Many lives of elephants were lost in the building of many chola ruled temples India, we still dont know, where the elephants were buried or disposed, but when the chettiars(pandya nattu genetics) came to reside in chola kingdoms, the air and air of jealousy was cast chettiar women, and a homam was done, where many were burned to death. It must be the air of dead elephants which led to these events. Neverthless, kanjasthi is a must on this chettiar caste, their practice of not to be in debt, is a message that the three spritual worlds, will judge by the amount money you owe to the banks or external world.

Yes. I belong to Nagarathar family. We are 3 girls. My parents were even ready to sell their kidneys to get the girls married. The major principle nowadays among nagarathars is, need to make money, route doesn't matter. One can steal, rob, grab others' wealth, cheat etc., but need to get wealth and project as wealthier.
Always talking proud of their tiffen items. Bcz of dowry system gap between rich and poor has become vast. In all meetings all r talking guys r not getting married till 40yrs. Many sold properties and working under others. Sad to see that.
