The original work was rewritten due to some drama that happened years ago in which the original author deleted all his work from the wiki and left the site iirc it was in 2017 or 2018 when it happened
This was really interesting, although not what I expected. From what I remembered The Star, The Hateful was supposed to be a star that is slowly moving towards earth. The article was probably rewritten into this or I am completely wrong
The original SCP 1548 is not the daybreak one, it's another one that the original author deleted because he felt it wasn't good enough (although it was quite popular). The original one was basically a star that really hates humanity and wants to destroy us, and is rapidly moving towards us (which will still take a long time since it's far away). It was a cool concept but it was never fleshed out and the writing was meh. Overall, I think the current one is better.
@@michaelliggett1622 He still deleted it from the SCP wiki, not sure which part of my comment was wrong. Anyway, the RCP version is still different from the original. The author has said the RCP version is the one he is happy with.
@@rulzzzzzz your comment made it sound he deleted just cuz when the context was that von pinceir deleted all there work due to drama surrounding the wiki back 2017 2018 from what I recall they felt wiki was becoming to woke and political
basically the drama or catalyst for the drama was the wiki celebrated pride month which rubbed the people who eventually founded rpc the wrong way saying basically saying that wiki was being woke and politics should stay off the wiki this caused the schism which caused the author to leave the wiki

Correction the author deleted the original and his other work when he jumped ship from the wiki during the drama some years ago went over to rpc
