These are wonderful sessions. I can disappear for a short time to feed my soul, make a few items (about 5 each time) then head back to spend time with family.
Craft is my soul food, and life is busy, so these are the perfect amount of "me" time. I try for one a day, but it's about 4 a week.
Oh that's fantastic. 5 is pretty good. Crafting is definitely food for the soul isn't it? Much needed during these crazy times too x
Ah Tina, absolutely gorgeous decorated envelope pocket 😍 This was a wonderful hour spent with you, I made 12 DL envelopes and 10 mini dinner money sized ones, sealed, folded and papers cut, all ready to be assembled, incredibly product, watching and listening to you is a pleasure 🤗 X

A little late to the party but enjoyed crafting with you today Tina and listening to your chat. As I only had 4 envelopes I decided to make and decorate especially for my sewing journal project. Really pleased with the results, especially the pocket with pattern tissue as the background.. I shall definitely do this as a mass make when I buy some envelopes. Thanks Tinax

I love the concept of "mass making"...today I am sharing my chair with my small dog (who takes up more room than you would think, so I am balancing on the edge of the chair). Not able to make anything...but do plan to get the chair to myself soon and start mass making!

Hi Tina. I’m not mass making as I watch because I basically only journal for myself (and a few friends) but I’m loving the mass make. As a newbie it’s super helpful watching the same piece being done more than once. And the decorating at the end helps me picture how to use it

Love the idea of "desk ephemera". Now I won't feel guilty of my cluttered desk...it's just decorated.

Working with you! Using music paper because that is what I have most of. Then will decorate over them to fit the current project which right now is Halloween. But having a base done is great! Love the series of ideas!
I love watching you work and free associating your thoughts in a chatty way. I'm not very good at "mass producing" anything. I'm kind of a serial prototyper. 😍 So I'm learning a lot from you. ❤🤗👍
Oh, what I do while I watch is usually multi tasking watching tv or take a break from housework.
I got some nice speckled envelopes taking up space. Im going to mass produce them into something just because of you!😍

Lol, I know what you mean, I am a bit like that, which was why I started the mass making workshops, as I thought it would help me to be more time efficient. I am slowly converting over to being a serial mass maker now as I can see the benefits. Okay let me tell you how much this is not boring! I fell at work and banged up the side of my face really bruised my eye looks terrible. Not allowed to be on RUclips very much and it's not much I can do with one eye but I look forward to each and every one of your videos. Now that I can see a little better I'm watching them all. Keep up the good work even if I don't crafts long I tried to duplicate some of the things I've learned later. when my eyes are hurt I'm usually sitting here making small crochet things or other ephemera that I can use in journals while I'm learning watching you. I love your videos.🧡🍁💛

Hehehehe....I got three done to your dozen. Love it! I did one with red stripes on the back with the word CAKES on the front piece, using wallpaper. So cool! I may use it for a Christmas journal I should be making. More time, I need more time! 😎

I really love the mass making videos. Personally I wouldn't have half as many different pockets ect in my journals so thank you for them hope you do many more. As long as they make you happy.

Tina, thanks for another pocket idea. I do bulk make with you every week. I really enjoy it, as do many others. I was confused as to why waste an envelope and not use it for a pocket, so once I had my pieces glued together, I cut off a tiny strip at the top to open up the end to have an extra pocket. I hate that you were so hungry and thirsty that you didn’t enjoy the process this week. I hope that you are not discouraged by it. I am keeping up with this series of workshops, but I have fallen behind on the 3 in 30 challenge series, but hopefully will catch up soon. I was working on absolutely adorable buttons using old book page behind them. Check them out on Nik the Booksmith. I think she called it something like buttons using dictionary pages. I made a huge stash of them.

I just finished making a little golden book baby junk journal..I have some envelopes and bags I’m starting on for another journal which I am just going to be collaging so I shall craft a long with you..😊🌷
I like that those envelopes are brown instead of white. Also, I accidentally printed your free downloadable on plain copy paper so this will be a good way to not waste those since placing them on the envelopes makes them more sturdy. Love your videos! Thx!

Fabulous !! As soon as I saw this I thought junk mail envelopes !!! Trim them up, glue pretty paper or bits of collage and voila' !! More scraps gone !! Thank you !!! Also am just so happy to see each of your Mass Making series. Thank you for it as well !!

I have no excuses not to make journals now with all the goodies I’ve made this summer. More mess with finished than not. Was trying to clean up but the mess just went to the done mess side from the to do side. 😂

Love this idea of making the foundation pieces ahead. Saves time and is great to do when I travel. I have a box of things and I can cut them and glue on the road!

As sole caretaker of my bed ridden mom (end stage dementia), I am thrilled to see all these mass making things. I can get out just what I need and work on a bunch of small projects to have for ready for making journals again when I can. Meantime I am clearingboutca bunch of scraps and have something to do while sitting here.
@@thepickypainter9854 I also have a shoebox of little scraps of paper, lace, and fabric. I can put them together and make snippets while I sit with my husband who is recovering from a hospital stay. I glue or use a tiny staple. When I get ready to use them I can put on a button or charm or glue to the paper clip. I like having a whole bunch of different things ready. Prayers for you and your mom.

Love the videos. Just a thought to help out. A Fiskars paper trimmer is a great investment. It is always straight, and is less fussy than trying to cut with scissors. It also has a piece to make creases for folding.

For the first time in this series, I am actually trying to craft along,although the phone rang and I had to prepare a meal! So I haven’t accomplished much! Yet now I’m halfway through making only ten pieces. I’m so happy and waiting to see in what way you decorate one!😊

The equivalent size envelope in the US would probably be #10. I am not sure if they come in any color except white, but they could be covered or inked. I love your paper combinations on these envelopes. An eclectic mix of colors and patterns that look great together.

Well, since you asked what we're doing... I started last night with Mass Making video 1, even though you are up to week 51 in "real" life : ) I have lots of scraps too, so I'm working right along with you... hopefully we'll put a dent in the pile before we're done. (by the way... I already watched week 51, so I'm happy that you are planning to start another year!)
Ahoy there! Working on botanical tags along with sewing in a sig. for a one sig. journal. I do enjoy your mass making videos...it really helps to have elements made up!
Such fun. May be boring for you but I really think the “do aheads” are going to be helpful for me. Am going on a retreat next week and think I am going to pack for do ahead journal items. Taking sewing machine. Pack light and plan to visit with “The Paper Dolls”. Thank you so much for the inspiration and helpful tips.

I am mass making tags and journaling cards. I received a large pile of advertising post cards from a business clean out. Lots of fun and a huge mess in the living room since it is my evening TV time project....while I catch up on all the Marvel universe movies :-)

I’m watching! Love these. Did you see the ones Gayle did using the flap for the tuck? It also seems like you cut make a cut in the side of the envelope for another tuck spot. Keep the ideas coming!
