I’m amazed how this base is massive (with an easy 200k+ mats cost) and yet it could only fit a trio. The upkeep is my favorite part.🔥

This base could EASILY fit almost a group of 10. This is borderline a mini-zerg base Lol Just remove some of the in-base furnaces for more sleeping bags/lockers.

I stopped building shells and inner peaks on my clan bases because wide gaps and converting them into funnel walls accomplishes the same thing at a cheaper base cost. Also, triangle shooting floors are borderline useless because if you aren't shooting while crouched you aren't hitting anything unless you're using a bolty.
That's why you need square shooting floors for ramps

Why would you do that to your TC room? Just place the TC on the other wall and bring the triangle from your half-loot jump-up.
... and that's only the beginning of the problems with this design.
You don't really have any significant amount of storage, but you are going to have very high upkeep. You will need to farm, a lot, to keep your TC topped up.
Open core design gives you great online protection but reduces overall raid cost.
Your external TCs have outward facing doors, exposing you when you restock.
You have no utility spaces for electrical or automation or farming.
You have more smelting capacity in those large furnaces than you do material storage.
2023 and still no wide gaps on a 2x2 is just crazy dawg use this base if u wanna be a sleep deprived farmbot and get offlined

That upkeep is a bit too high for a viable base design in my opinion for the group size that I would assume would use this base

This is like the worst design you can use. I'd recommend not building anything like this because it has no loot storage and costs way too much. There are dozens of better ways to do each part of this base.
Pretty old school build. Before the wide gap peeks were a thing this was the build. It still works but wide gaps are a better choice as the peek downs are less likely to be destroyed from rockets. A raid from the front would collapse the inner peeks that raiders come in from if this design is used. This build can be built with a 3x3 as well.

@@fishwoman7825 wide gaps at least protect you from being griefed. you can still have a bunkered up base and have wide gaps

Base is great for 10x servers because the up keep if not you would need a big group but it works great for me and my 2 buddy's
This base doesn't have loot storage for a bit group though...like not even close. I could barely live out of this as a solo.
What u mean i have soloed a base with 32k metal upkeep for almost 3 weeks before i was raided

Perfect? Your TC room can be soft sided into from your jump up. It's a 4 satchel + jackhammer raid. Until you upgrade to it's second stage or get the garage door BP then it's a little more expensive.
If you connected the outside shell to outer tc I would use this base

It still creates a building block for that area but also causes the raiders to break every joint attached to the "external" attached TC or they would not get building privileges I would imagine. I dont know for sure because I'm a solo and could never afford to build this or crazy big based with so many TCs. Not worth my time really
If it were possible, I would use this for a Fallout game base.
Plus, if Rust was more than a multiplayer game, I would use it to defend against AI raids, and that's a BIG what if.

are you smoking crack, the 2x2 isnt a solo or duo only design its used by lots of 4 mans which is the ideal of this base also its not meant to be a offline giant its meant to have strong online defense which is why doors is cheap like most 2x2's.
Its kind of a «old school» pvp base. Meant to defend an online raid. Its Classic, but i liked it better with open core in the top. Now days you need the meta shootingfloor tbh, but this base is a true classic. Way to much hqm ye😅

I built it the same way, but the wall is not affected by the TC effect. The wall collapses.

This design is awesome, however I'd like to say it feels like there was a roof, on top of a roof, on top of a roof, I thought the top of the base was finished like 3 separate times but you kept going. Very sick base though. Perhaps a simplified version of this design? Next wipe I will try a smaller version of this for a smaller group of players. Seriously awesome base though!

HOW DO YOU STOP FLYING
Not a bad design but you got some very basic gatehouses. AND, most newer style bases have a Mini-China wall or funnel wall. You should consider adding the newest meta into your base designs. Also, this is really just a standard 2x2 Ring base. You can also get away with not having to use as many metal barricades by tilting them on an angle and placing them towards the center of the middle square on top of the gatehouses. So, 2 per on top of the gatehouses. Also, flasher lights are smaller, and harder to see, and also do the exact same thing as the siren lights when blocking someone from building on your gatehouses. I didn't see an Open Core, or many loot rooms either. Also, you didn't include the upkeep from all 4 external Tc's as well. So, it's actually more than 20k Metal Frags a day. Altogether it's a decent base design. You should check out The Trio King. You may see some features you could incorporate into some of your designs in the future. As always, good video, great content, and keep building.

great base till you started your externals, because that shooting floor is awful :( not trying to be mean, you just had an oppurtunity for wide gaps and free hand shooting floor gaps. otherwise love the shell and everything else.
