In 1991 when I was going through something so crushing I heard this song on the radio . It touched me so much that I drove 25 miles to a Bible book store hoping to find his CD . I found it . I came home and played it over & over while praying for several months until I got break through.

Now I can relate to you. I once came out of a general darkness in early 1996, hearing this on the Christian radio. But 2024 introduced me to a level of emotional distress I’ve Never known-having my ex wife leave me for an evil man. I am slowly finding my way out of this awful darkness…with our Lord’s help.

There are two Christian songs that brought me out of darkness in 1996, and got me to be a born again Christian. This was one of them. The other was The Greens singing I am a Christian. My ex wife left me at the beginning of this year. I have felt as if I just can’t go on, and I wandered back into that darkness recently, but I believe the Lord can help me through this.
With the Lord's help no doubt you can find the way back out of darkness. We are praying for you...

This is the song my heart sought today. It brings back so many wonderful childhood memories of seeing Brother Mills in concert. I am blessed to have heard this testimony and to still remember these words in my heart. What a blessing this song is…Thank God for it.

Mr Mills came to Sherwood baptist once a year. I miss him and the church as well. Hope he's still alive
I used to listen to KJIC in Houston. Had never heard of Quinton Mills but they played this and Windows of My Soul along with many other wonderful heart touching songs. It was a wonderful part of my life.
I also used to listen to these songs on KJIC. I was young and new in the Lord and had wearied of the garbage they were playing on KSBJ, but switched over to gospel on KJIC. So many great songs and memories!!

My mother my father and my grandmother all had the cassette tape I think this very album that being showed in this picture it had a bunch of good songs on it like this one I found the Lily in my Valley which was all of their favorite song and of course one of my favorites I'm not dancing for the devil anymore I'm dancing for the Lord and of course also another favorite of mine called that's no Hill for a climber I'm actually in the process of learning I found the Lily in my Valley for Mother's Day because like I just said a little while ago and this comment this was my mother's favorite song and it still is her favorite song my mother turned 60 in April so I'm going to learn it for Mother's Day
