In 1972 I trained in hairdressing at Leonard behind the US Embassy in London. Twiggy was a business partner in the salon and would come in to get her hair done a lot. She came to my stylist and I assisted him and she was without a doubt the kindest, loveliest person in a sometimes not so kind environment. I was about as low on the ladder of Juniors in Leonard’s but she made me feel special. A really lovely lady.
Well I was short and chubby too and here comes Twiggy… I always said she ruined my life but we all loved her! I have a really embarrassing school photo with my Twiggy lashes painted on… lol
2:49 she was right there, plastic surgery and Botox etc are an epidemic now. Women (and men) now with huge swollen lips and faces that don’t move because their injected/pumped up with all sorts, scary😬 you can’t recognize some people they’ve had so much done😐
Pricilla Presley used to be beautiful like Twiggy , but has had too much surgery ect. Sharon Osbourne looked better when she just had a few tweeks, but also has gone too far. Sad really .
It is so sad that people think they fixed the aging with all the junk they put in their faces, they unfortunately look like monsters ,weird faces ,nothing beautiful about it,Twiggy looks great because she didn’t used any of it ,thank goodness !
How do you know that? I think she looks great bcs she didn't go overboard. Procedures have come a long way. They look very natural nowadays (if you know when to stop)
She was a model in the 1960's became an actress and singer in the early 1970's appeared in the Film The Boyfriend which won her two golden globes! She had her own TV series Twigs and she had records in the charts got married had her daughter Carly appeared on Broadway with Tommy Tune in my one and only! Her first husband Michael Witney passed away after they got divorced due to his alcoholism later on she met and married Leigh Lawson! You say you don't know why she's famous she has had a long and varied career and also been made a Dame!
Well, isn't she adorable. So grounded and humble.

There’s ’fake nice’ then there’s ’genuine nice’ it’s abundantly clear that Twiggy is the latter. She’s warm, engaging and articulate. Super lady.
@gerardmackay8909 and you can't fake nice.
She is still as gorgeous as ever and so down to earth.
Twiggy was famous back in the day! I'm 71, bring back the 60's!
Twiggy looks amazing !
Beautiful then, beautiful now

Dame Leslie Hornby!!
She looks fabulous
I was a chubby little brunette girl in the 60s and oh how I wanted to be like Twiggy!
We all did. Or like Patty Boyd or Cher.
Well I was short and chubby too and here comes Twiggy… I always said she ruined my life but we all loved her! I have a really embarrassing school photo with my Twiggy lashes painted on… lol
The two male guests are just mesmerised by her!! ❤
It’s something on the inside that shines out, it’s not just the beauty on the outside. The combination of both makes her adorable and uber attractive.
Super impressive❤
Still beautiful! ❤
Lovely stories❤
The date of these glorious interviews needs to be on the video
Love MP RIP will watch as long as I still enjoy the laughs which I do!
Lovely interview with Parky. Always a good idea to put the date of the broadcast in the title or description.

Wow ! Twiggy ..I remember her.. skinny , pretty lady ! How old is she now ? ( I’m 78 & I liked her).
She's 75 now, in 2025. I'm not sure when this episode was recorded, so I don't know how old she was there.
Beautiful Twiggy, bubbly personality, nice person. But her voice is very loud.
How relevant this is today
2005

Twiggy the girl from Neasden is a great girl, a good singer too.

When was the interview recorded? It must have been at least a decade ago.
Someone commented 2005.
@richardw3470 Thank you!
Well Twiggy had the last laugh, poor old Margaret has long since been dead & buried along with her nastiness!
Still don't know why she's famous.

That’s more on you than on her long and varied career.
