I want to pass along a tip my grandmother gave me, when I (around 8) learned how to embroider under her watchful eye: There are dull/blunt needles available. Use them for even weave and/or aida fabric. The tip will go more smoothly through the hole/fabric (yes, also with 1/4 and 1/2 stitches) and not shred the fabric thread. With linen or other fabric, one uses a sharp needle. In the following decades, her advice always gave me a beautiful endresult. Take care - Europe
Thank you Natalie! This is going to be the perfect series for me as I have been a hand embroidery wanna-be. I have a nickel allergy, do you know which needles do not have nickel in them? My fingers blister when I use needles with nickel in them.
Oh, Natalie you are looking so much healthier! Beautiful inside and out!! You are truly a great teacher!! xoxoxo

Yes! Using sharp needles for cross-stitching on Aida cloth will make one crazy! Takes a lot of the fun out of the stitching.😉
I love your style of instructing...complete, concise and well planned steps !!!
I love my kit. Thank you so so much I can’t wait to do more and more projects with you.
Natalie this is great. When do we get to see your grandmother's denim embroidery? Will you show embroidery on different fabrics?

Thankyou. Hugs, Chel 🌸
Great idea! Thank you!
I have had the whole family looking for lost needles and pins. Very often with flashlights and magnets 😂😂
