She almost got fired for selling me my Tama Starclassic kit in 99. I walked into the music store and she was putting the kit together, I fell in love with the white Pearl finish and the sound of the drums. When I went back to get an additional 16” floor Tom , she told me that that particular kit was supposed to be a display only, because it was a limited edition. It was to be either auctioned off or given away at the drum festival that they had each year. That year in particular I believe Lars was featured!
Dorothea Taylor plays drum set as well. The main difference between her and Lars is that she is familiar with the concept of "practicing", while Lars is not.
I can't imagine Lars with this though. The drummimg reminds me of the intro to the song "Train" by the hard rock band LSD from the album "The Silent Majority."

She is the godmother of drumming. Lars is one of the best song arrangers of all time in one of the greatest groups of all time Who also happens to be the drummer in the band. Do you know how in the song one comes on in that drum break down that sounds like a machine gun shots towards the end? Yeah that was Lars
This superb lady.. she could easily be the physical mother of the other one man that's really superb and unique, and he's beloved to all of us.. the one and only Dave Lombardo! And she could easily replace him in Slayer's concerts whenever her son would be ill, to play _'Angel Of Death'_ like him, and even better! Gee, man.. what a goddess of drums! 👌🧡🤗😌
