What I love about this scene with zero words, is that it perfectly highlights why Hurley ultimately became a great Leader for the Island, and Ben a great number 2. Hurley is gonna eat his chocolate, but notices Ben is hungry too. Decides to split it. Gives Ben the bigger half. True leaders notice their followers needs, and take care of them, even to the detriment of themselves. It's the burden of leadership. What Ben really always wanted, from his father, from Jacob, was recognition and respect. Hurley gave him that, so he didn't need to grasp for power anymore. Now that's a duo that will lead the Island into a golden age.
Ben's a great character cuz yes you're right he has years to make up for his past, but he also was a genuine pos. keeping Juliet on the island, never explaining to thr survivors he's trying to help instead of kidnapping pregnant chicks, stole a baby from her mother and raised her just to let her be shot, killed locke, killed Jacob, the list literally goes on! I still wish that Jack or sayid would've killed him I do not think he redeemed himself
@@Pizza21002 I think his redemption was mostly done post show, faithfully serving Hurley and the island for the rest of his life.... and as we see in the finale, even Ben isn't sure he redeemed himself. He stays in that place, as he still feels like he has work to do.
@K S good point I hadn't thought about that. Still what happened to his daughter is too sad. Kidnapped her, tortured her bf and threatened to kill him, and then let her die to save his skin. I get it he makes up for it but I guess that's the beauty of the show because you can make a good argument either way whether he redeemed himself or if he was beyond redemption. Now juliet is a character who redeemed herself ten fold and i dont think theres much debate there.
I was thinking, I'm going to see my favorite scene of LOST, when Benjamin Linus eats a chocolate with Hugo, and there you go, another user thought the same, ha ha ha ha.
Yes, i love that scene too. And later they become really good friends, when they both protect the island. And Ben saved Hugo's life in the last episode.
Someone mentioned puppy eyes, and I think what makes this even funnier is the fact that they are not puppy eyes...he's just staring hardcore, lol. I love Ben. :D
Wow Man, its always wholesome when I read someone telling that they watched Lost with their family ☺️☺️😍 that's incredible for me 😁😄😸 I love my family, but we have never even went to the movie theater together. They don't like scifi or drama, so we never watched nothing together, basically 😅
AHHAHAAHAHHA. the best scenes in this show are the ones with ben and hurley. this one, and the one where hurley hurls a microwave burrito at ben, and ben looks at hurley like '...?'
As the saying goes: The Avengers schwarma post-credits scene has been real quiet since this dropped. (Yes, I know the Avengers 2012 movie came out two years after Lost ended, but still.)
The most intriguing aspect of this scene is that it predicts something very interesting: that Hurley would be Jacob's successor as the island's protector and that Ben would be Hurley's right-hand man. In the end, Ben got what he always wanted, while Hurley had no choice and simply accepted the burden.
Ingrained good habit. If u noticed Hurley held on to the chocolate wrapper and didn't throw it to the ground. 😊 Started rewatching all 6 seasons in July 2023 ❤
@LoStMe I bet they did this at least once a year in remembrance or something during centuries. Hey! Probably Hugo changed the whole water ritual for this to pass on the power of keeper of the island, wouldn't that bee awesome? "You will be the new keeper of the island... do you have a granola bar?" Takes a bite and gives the rest to the new keeper, new keeper takes bite "Now you are like me dude"
for the people who have seen the end, claire didnt get on a helicopter, when charlie clearly died because she was going to get on one, i guess thats a blooper
I love you, Hurley
I love you too, Ben
Breaks the chocolate bar into two pieces. Gives the former Big Bad the bigger half.
Everybody loves Hugo.

Ben should have been taken outside and shot in the back of the head.
Perfectly said.

and from that moment they were destined to become who they did become. This single moment is a perfect visualisation.
Right!)
I don't think Ben ever forgets this moment.
The way he just looks at him.
Fucking gold 11/10, seriously its perfection lol
tf vb and everything without words so awesome xD
Lol I love how Ben just stares until he gives it to him.
I was thinking, I'm going to see my favorite scene of LOST, when Benjamin Linus eats a chocolate with Hugo, and there you go, another user thought the same, ha ha ha ha.
Came back here in 2021 to find this scene
Same!!! hhhhh
This is even funnier when you know what becomes of these two at the end of the series…
I like Hurley decides to share after noticing Ben hungrily staring.
Yes, i love that scene too. And later they become really good friends, when they both protect the island. And Ben saved Hugo's life in the last episode.
@@lisakellerman7701 Jesus he didn't ask for a recap of the whole show.
@@yemi1776 And nobody asked you to act like an ass.
@@yemi1776 it’s been a year. are you still insufferable?
The best Discussion is when nobody says a word.
even manipulative sociopaths like candy
sharing is caring, kids
You remind me of The Circle movie of 2017.
Someone mentioned puppy eyes, and I think what makes this even funnier is the fact that they are not puppy eyes...he's just staring hardcore, lol. I love Ben. :D
* mind control * "give me candy.. Give me candy.. Give me candy.."
miss this show ;w; this is one of the cutest moments in the series lol
No dialogue, just a pure vibe.
from that moment they were destined to become friends :)
Hurley has no enemies, they all love him! ^^
this was one of my favorite lost scene of Ben and Hurley
I love this scene! It's so adorable :)
You were a great number 1 Hugo!
EPIC! My whole family busted up laughing when we saw this on tv!
Wow Man, its always wholesome when I read someone telling that they watched Lost with their family ☺️☺️😍 that's incredible for me 😁😄😸 I love my family, but we have never even went to the movie theater together. They don't like scifi or drama, so we never watched nothing together, basically 😅
yes, if you know the end this is realy nice momment
Everyone love Hugo even Ben being with Hugo for so long would have thought him so much ..x x x xx
probably the best characters in the entire series
Great foreshadowing, whether or not it was intended
This is straight up foreshadowing.
This scene is still one of my favorites :D
I cant believe this is not a commercial
That's part of the mystery of the island.
Best show of all time.
I like that Hugo has an Apollo Bar in that useless cell phone pocket of shorts.
Just perfect... Tribute to the Lost.
Best funny awkward scene in lost ever I just saw it on Netflix and had to see the scene on RUclips just made my dat XD
my favorite scene.

Awwwww, Hurley ^^
This bromance tho ♥️
just PERFECT! I think if they had spoken or utter any word they would've spoiled the scene!...LOVE IT! LOST rocks! ^^
awesome scene :D

I love this scene!
Makes me smile everytime :)
Great scene:-)
I love this scene
the whole time I'm like ohhhh give ben a piece of that candy bar hurley and he did
Classic lost moment
my favorite scene :D
I LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH OMG
That awkward moment when ur on an island and someone pulls out a candy bar and splits it with u. :-)
Greatest scene in the whole show, but you need to understand who they are to know why.
there goes number 1 and number 2
*subliminal mind control* (give me candy.... give me candy....)
Heheh.
I adored this scene when I first saw it, and was so happy when I found out that other Lost fans do too.
so we meet again 240p
the script writing was genious
A precursor of how things were to end.
Awwww...
Hurley is my favorite.
@LoStMe I bet they did this at least once a year in remembrance or something during centuries.

Who could possibly dislike this? :@
Love it!!!
So cute :D
At least a thankyou.
A Sequel of those 2 running the Island would be dope
I looovvvveeee this scene! :D
Oooooh a piece of candy.
Ross Geller & Mike Hannigan
Jajaja
bastards.. you just made me watch all seasons of LOST all over again
Best scene ever! xD
And yet, to this day, there are some who say the writers didn't know where all of this was going.
lol best lost scene ever
no words needed
only dharma chocolate required
XD
peace out
cubkuriboh:-)
Quite a pair those two
Харли всегда был молодцом)
XD so funny , i miss LOST
Is it me or did he give Ben the bigger piece? I thought that was cute. :D
foreshadowing
EPIC FORESHADOWING
The look on Ben's face is priceless. Its as if he wants to say "Oh, how typical...." or "You fat fuck".
This is how they spent their time after they became the new Jacob and Richard...
Better than entire season 8 of game of thrones
How did Hurley keep that candy bar from melting in his pocket? Every time I put a candy bar in my pocket I ruin it.
Dharma Initiative. A few of their stuff was 60's scifi technology. Amazing stuff.
ben linus, you are a silly cat, mr.
They don’t even need to say anything.
say thank you,Benjamin..
Does anyone think this was possibly foreshadowing?
This is made of win
Funny how they are eventually the protectors of the island
No way hands down the best scene ever is Hurley throwing a HOT POCKET at Ben (funny how it involves both of them too)
When my girlfriend asked me what my favorite scene was it was exactly this.. It is great.
They found a bunch of food in the Swan station, and the Dharma food pallets fell occasionally, remember? :P
AWH :D
💯 The Classic: Guilt Into Sharing Food Stare. 🤣
This scene was funny but one of my favorites is when Hurley jumped Sawyer and kicked his arse!!
for the people who have seen the end, claire didnt get on a helicopter, when charlie clearly died because she was going to get on one, i guess thats a blooper
Not a word said.... LMAO!!
HUAHuhauHAUAHUha.. Sensacional!
AFTER ALL THIS Ben hasn't learned to say THANK YOU
He said it to him at the end
