Wallgreens' CEO , Tim Wentworth, was head of MedCo, then Express Scripts... he and team were never near Theranos. Chanos is just taking a cheap shot at Wentworth for mentioning PLTR
The fact that they are able to have high growth, provide new services AIP and make a profit at the same time is impressive. They have definitely shown that they are capable and a top player in the ai sector. They shown proof of concept in 2023 and with the growth in the chip industry shows that the service market will grow rapidly. I was really surprised by what ai companies have the highest market share. I would say it's something to look at before trading as well as who is actually profiting from the ai sector. Most companies are not at that point.
Even more impressive are the customers lining up at AIPCons to sing the praises of Palantir products!

Let them keep downgrading the the stock. If government are all signing up, and then resigning. It clearly means the government are interested and did their DD. Then they resign because their no doubt the product is legit and it does what they expect and more
You're reading too much into government spending. They're not big on DD, considering they squander trillions of dollars a year.

There are similarities between Palantir and Theranos... bear with me. 1. Both Palo Alto founded. 2. Exuberant, outspoken CEOs. 3. CEOs both made/make hard to believe statements about company/ product importance to the world. 4. The products shrouded in some mystery (in Palantir's case a byproduct of poor marketing and initial low commercial penetration) with Theranos the smoke and mirrors was on purpose. That is the end of their similarities.
How Chanos can compare the 2 companies with a straight face is laughable. Where are the customers claiming fraud? Where are the former Palantir employee programmers providing testimony that their products are a sham? Where are the FBI, SEC, and WS Journal bombshells claiming illegal actions by Palantir corporate leadership?
It is shameful and classless that Chanos makes this comparison. He does it on purpose to tarnish Palantir and their corporate leadership.

Theranos never had a product...another badly researched thing to say by Jimmy C. These guys are selling to real clients....does he really think the Pentagon, Airbus, Ferrari and British NHS did not get value from working with Palantir. Its going to be fun to see him lose the little he has left after shorting Tesla. Love it....

If PLTR is making money every quarter, why stocks are down, I don’t get it. Many unprofitable companies and their stocks are up like AI, AFMR, etc… what is going on?
PLTR has gone up massively in the last year, and is trading at a high p/e. The stock goes down for a couple of days and you're crying? You shouldn't be in the stock market.
I'm trying to understand why Wedbush downgraded Palantir stock. If they wanted to downgrade it for their own investors they could have done so while they told their investors what they were doing (quietly). But once they make a downgrade public the only possible explanation is to drive the stock price down. I wouldn't be surprised if they then load up on the stock at a lower stock price. Long term I think Palantir will prove all these downgrades completely wrong.

Karp leaving would cause a serious price drop. He is eccentric but is exactly the CEO PLTR needs. Most of the people who comment negatively about him really haven't done their research on what he has said and done over the last 20 years.
@@BB-2244 Palantir will do fine with Alex as the CEO. But to evolve into a titan as the likes of MS, Google, Amazon, you just can't have a politically swayed lead. Many Palantir investors are imagining the company in the same league with those in the future. Will just not happen with Alex. My message was not about Palantir doing bad.

However, Musk's heavy involvement with the details of his companies' products and his technical drive more than covers up his bad job as CEO. He simply pushes through the facts against the wind he himself creates. Not ideal in business but it has been working so far. When it comes to Alex, I have yet to hear real detailed information from him on Palantir's products. He is a speculative talker constantly trying to look smarter than he probably is. A lot of speculation and too many guesses coming from his mouth. His style may be attractive to some retail investors, especially to those lord of the rings geeks. I just think a great CEO will unlock their potential to maximum they can achieve in the future.
