    I SOOOOOOO wish I lived near you. I'm a retired aircraft mechanic, US Navy, Northwest Airlines & Delta Airlines. 45 years in all. I had to retire in 2020 after a silly, stupid accident at work. Oh gosh I miss the sights, sounds & smell of the planes 😢

    17,800 carrier pilots earned their wings via 2 giant paddle ships converted into the training carriers. The Navy had to relearn how to stoke coal ships. I wish my high school had had a program like the one in this video.

      Fairly common Lake Michigan. I took photos of many from my office in downtown Chicago.
