So, North Korea is part of the communism of Soviet Union, while South Korea is an American ally. Meaning they wouldn't be in good terms, but due to the spirit of sport, The Korean Peninsula will compete united as one.

Many north koreans support the south during the FIFA World Cup. Plus, most people of both countries don't see each other as enemies, they know that it is pretty much a political affair, which most of the other country's citizens have little to nothing to do with it.
We have to support North Korea forever, is the only country in the world that the West wants it or not, imposes fear and respect in the U.S.. Hopefully one day the unification of Korea, like the unification of Vietnam ;-)
